James Harrington. That’s my name, my birthright, and my curse. I didn’t always hate being a Harrington. At one time, I took it as a privilege. I used it to my advantage. But a name doesn’t stop you from losing everything, and after six haunting years, that everything is back forcing me to face the past or give up a future.Evie Harrington.I bet you didn’t know about me because James doesn’t talk … me because James doesn’t talk about me. Or to me. We had it all and I was never happier. My family was my entire world, but that world shattered. When faced with the unimaginable, is there a way to put the pieces back together? After six painful years, it’s time to accept our history and move forward or move on from one another.
It’s the final Harrington brother, so hold onto your hearts. Silver Biker is going to be a bumpy ride.

What a ride! What an adventure L.B.Dunbar has bestowed upon us and her Silver Foxes. The anticipation to meet James and learn his mysterious background. The bad boy, black sheep, secretive biker of the family. Something happened to push him away from his life and family, something very tragic. One day while sitting in a bar with the flavor of the night, his past walks back in and oh the incredible ride that L.B. Dunbar takes you on to reveal their history. It is bumpy and bittersweet but it is life and you will be blessed to be privy to their triumphs and tragedies.
You can read it as a stand alone but it would be a tragedy to miss one minute of the Harringtons. Be sure to learn about them all.

Finally…James’ book! What a great addition to the series!!
This story…… James and Evie. The whole series has been building up to their story – hints have been dropped in all of the books. But nothing could really prepare you to find out what happened to them, and how broken they they became.
Evie has been gone for 6 years, and she has come back to ask James for a divorce. She is trying to move on, and another man is interested in her.
James just barely exists. He still lives in their house, haunted by memories and regrets.
But the two of them together – they still have the chemistry. Will they be able to reconnect, and maybe mend what has been broken? Or will they kiss and say goodbye??
I haven’t cried while reading a book for quite a while, or so many times. It is gut wrenching and raw. You understand and can feel all the pain. And it’s this kind of writing that makes a great author. This is one of LB’s best books.
This is the last Harrington brother and boy was it an emotional ride. Not gonna lie this one had me tearing up several times. Evie and James’ story just broke my heart. I could feel the heartache and guilt. I did have to take breather now and then because the book just hit me in the heart so much. This is a second chance in more ways than one for James. He needs to find his way again. There is a lot of healing to go around and I must say by the end this book even my heart was healed as well. This was great emotional read that I would recommend. I also enjoyed seeing the other Harringtons enjoying their HEAS.
Absolutely the best one in this series!
James (Ranger) is the lone Harrington son that isn’t involved in the family. He’s the tortured, angry brother who has been introduced in other books, and you know that he and his son have a tragic story. You get that full story here. Evie (Peach) is his estranged wife, and when she returns to hand him divorce papers, everyone’s world is turned upside down.
The story is filled with angst, emotional heartbreak, and a fantastic estranged marriage to lovers story.
The think I love most about these books is that there’s always a sense of reality behind the stories. It’s one where you can see yourself, or others in similar situations. This was the last brother in this series, but I really hope she returns to them again in the future.
James and Evie Harrington’s story is one of the best second chance books I have read. I have been waiting for this book for so long and I have to say the wait was absolutely worth it.
James is quiet and broody after he lost it all. After her life is turned upside Evie is ready to move forward. How her life will move forward is the question. This story will pull at your heart strings every step of the way. I found myself emotional throughout this entire book. This is the final story of the Harrington brothers and it answers so many questions that I have had after reading the other books. I’m sad that the Harrington brother’s series is over, but it was an amazing series that I know I will re-read time and time again. Thank you, L.B. Dunbar, for another amazing story.
Heartfelt, moving and for me, the best of the series!
This is book 4 of the Harrington Brothers of Blue Ridge. Each book can be read as a standalone, with interconnecting characters making cameo appearances.
Compelling, captivating and moving story, this is my favorite of the brothers’ stories. Perfectly imperfect characters made this story so likable and relatable, at least for me.
This is James’ story. He’s considered the black sheep of the family. The outsider, the outcast. Yet despite the rough and tough exterior, there’s a lonely and reclusive man with deep rooted pain and secrets.
Why?
When he re connects with Evelyn, old wounds re-open but more importantly they heal!
How?
What happens?
You’ll have to read this beautiful book and find out!
4.5 stars!
These Harrington men!! I mean can I have them all? #notaskingforafriend
What a turn of events this Harrington turned out to be. If you’ve read some or all of the previous books, then you’d had snippets of him already and you know he’s not winning any congeniality awards any time soon. However, his story packs a punch, it’s nothing like I thought it would be and he is beautiful in all his pieces. And Evie …. I mean … *sigh*
James and Evie have a history I felt to my soul. I was utterly heartbroken and hopeful thru most of the story. I know, you’d think one couldn’t be both, but Ms Dunbar has skills people. If Evie and James have any chance of moving forward, they have to move thru the past, and we are right there with them. I felt like I was part of the story. It was just so real and relatable. Rebuilding trust is not an easy path. You have to be determined and invested. You have to know that the journey is not a snap and accept it. You have to know that your investment is your future. This story represented all of this respectfully and true to real life. It’s one the best stories I have read by this author thus far.
Silver Biker tore up my mind and heart and slowly, very slowly put it back together. Lots of words that were sort of like a working your way through a maze. You start down a path and then it’s like, wait I’ve been down this way, or have I? The story had lots of twists and turns but in due course, you get the end that is completely satisfying.
L.B. Dunbar writing is, as always, excellent. Evie and James are characters that are well developed and the storyline is captivating. The depth of the characters and their back story is significant and well thought out.
Part of The Silver Foxes of Blue Ridge series, Silver Biker was much anticipated and did not fail to mesmerize this reader.
So I was excited and sad for this book..I’ll explain, I have read all the books in this series and have grown to love the Harringtons. All the guys have fought and found their second chance at love. James is no different. He had Evie and then tragedy happened. He didn’t handle it well and sent Evie away. He’s been the mystique one of the group. All we knew about him from the other books was that he was in the military, lost a son and joined a biker gang. He hasn’t been around the family much and they are hurting from it. Evie, on the other hand, was still trying to move from the hurt. The feelings she felt for James never really went away. This story is about two people who had one wild night, had a son and then got married. These two move very quickly in their decisions. The bad part with that is that there no closure or healing between them. I can’t even imagine the pain and the heartache they went thru especially James, who had to witness the most horrible thing in the world. These two desperately need to talk about the past, get over their issues and figure out what they need in life. This is a real and raw love story. What I love most about this series is that the characters are older(40s and up), mature for the most part and secure in their careers. They have been thru life and have experienced life challenges and survived them. Leaving James for the end was a brilliant idea. His story brought back the love in his marriage, the healing they both desperately needed and a family who was whole again. I’m sad that this series is over but it won’t stop me from reading this author again. Her stories are very well written with characters you fall in love with. She makes you fall in love with the town and all the crazy characters who are in it.
Silver Biker is James and Evie’s story. We have watched him come and go through out the series as the black sheep of the family and we truly did not know the grief he has been carrying with him till now.
Evie and James had that instant connection. They were young, free and so different but soon life got in the way and tragedy pulled them apart. We now are watching this couple live, move on and hopefully learn to forgive. Is it possible to find your way back to that one person who was and is your everything. Their tale was steamy, heartbreaking, filled with angst and us visiting all of our favorite characters once again in our hands and hearts!

I received this ebook ARC from the author on the condition that I write an honest review.
The other books in this series about the Harrington brothers, have all hinted about James, the black sheep of the family, and we finally get his story. This book was an emotional rollercoaster of feelings. The couple had obtained a beautiful love, and marriage, but the loss of their son affected their relationship. They reunite, when after six years, Evie returns to tell James that she wants a divorce. This reconnection reignites their relationship to a new level. They have both realized that everything that they have gone through, has led to their ultimate HEA.
I’ve read several books written by L. B. Dunbar, and she never fails to satisfy the reader. I always recommend her books.
Intense! Gripping! Riveting! A truly incredible story of love, devastating loss, separation, and finding each other again. I’ve never suffered the same loss as James and Evie, but the amazing writing of LB had me feeling all of their emotions as my own. A week post reading and I still keep thinking about their story. It may be my favorite LB story. Keep lots of tissues handy! I loved the Silver Foxes Series!! LB’s over 40 books are the best!!
This story hit me hard, like a ton of bricks. It broke my soul and shred my heart. Then, L.B. eased my pain by piecing it back together. I’ve been craving James’ story and I am so glad that we finally got a look into his heart and soul, which is Evie.
With this story, we get so many emotions from love to tragic loss and so much lust. James and Evie play a cat and mouse game that seems to go on for way too long. So much so, that I was yelling at my kindle. However, the slow build is what’s led them to where they needed to be. To rebuild the trust that they both so desperately needed. What a beautiful, yet agonizing love story. Your heart will break over and over again, although it’s just so amazingly beautiful. I dare to say that Silver Biker is my number one top read of 2020. A bittersweet ending to this standalone series. Grab your tissues and enjoy the ride.
This was the awaited appearance of James Harrington who in past books shows us a man that is mysterious and rough around the edges. I can tell you that you need to have tissues and a seatbelt in your seat for the ride that LB Dunbar takes us on. This relationship between James and Evie has serious history. They met while he was working as a ranger and surprise pregnancy pops up that happened 19 years ago. Now here in the present Evie is back and asking for a divorce so she can move on. Its been six years since she left James to figure out his emotions and now its too late to salvage anything. We get a glimpse into what happened for the downfall of their marriage and it is heartbreaking. You have two broken souls trying to find the light but no manual on how to do it. My heart was bleeding for James and the burden he has lived with and seeing him try to fight his demons. Very emotional story of two souls and their healing to try to see if they can find themselves back to each other or truly move on. Wonderful rollercoaster ride with two well written characters.
Ms Dunbar has outdone herself with Silver Biker. James is the final Harrington brother if the series. They can all be read as standalone but you will enjoy the entire series. This beautifully written story grabbed my heartstrings.
James had everything. A wife he loved, a son, and a great job. Until one fatal accident changed everything. Unable to process his own grief and unwarranted guilt he pushed his entire family away, including his wife. When Evie comes back 6 years later James has to decide if he’s willing to let her go or if he wants to fight for his wife.
One of the best books I’ve read this year.
Totally captivating characters and a Heartwarming
unique love story. Beautifully and sensitively written tale of grief and return to love and family this the fourth book in the silver Harrington series totally stunned me in a fabulous way.
This was a 4 star second chance story that was a little difficult to read because of the sadness going through these characters.
James and Evie share a troubled past. Now she’s back and she needs something from James. He will give it to her with a condition. Will she do it?
This is a second chance for this troubled couple. It’s an heartfelt story full of angst. It’s not only a couple that are troubled, it’s an entire family that was torn apart from events that left them heartbroken.
Standalone told in a dual POV with an HEA. I recommend this story.
Every new book by LB Dunbar is my new favorite, and Silver Biker is no exception. Her writing has blossomed into deep emotional issues and romance. This is the story of the final Harrington brother James, the elusive black sheep biker and his estranged wife Evie. We finally learn the mystery of James.
The story starts us with the steamy beginning that is James and Evie, the passion, the devotion and then the devastating loss. Dunbar brings the unimaginable feelings of loss, guilt and angers to the reader that hopefully most of us will never experience. Have your tissues ready!
I loved the push and pull of emotions and attempts these two delt with to find their HEA. I loved this book, this series and I wished there were more Harrington brother’s stories! Well done!
