James Harrington. That’s my name, my birthright, and my curse. I didn’t always hate being a Harrington. At one time, I took it as a privilege. I used it to my advantage. But a name doesn’t stop you from losing everything, and after six haunting years, that everything is back forcing me to face the past or give up a future.Evie Harrington.I bet you didn’t know about me because James doesn’t talk … me because James doesn’t talk about me. Or to me. We had it all and I was never happier. My family was my entire world, but that world shattered. When faced with the unimaginable, is there a way to put the pieces back together? After six painful years, it’s time to accept our history and move forward or move on from one another.
It’s the final Harrington brother, so hold onto your hearts. Silver Biker is going to be a bumpy ride.

I waited for over a year for this book, it might have been longer. It is the final book in LB Dunbar’s Silver Fox series and OH MY GOD, it was worth it! It was possibly my top read of 2020. It was such a tear jerker. LB Dunbar touches on a subject that is very difficult to both write and read. I love that her characters have real flaws and face real-life challenges. If you are looking for an emotional book with a well deserved HEA, this is a wonderful read.
I really liked this whole series. This one though is struggled with and I’m not really sure why. The loved all the characters but couldn’t really connect with the main characters. Took me till more than halfway through to really get into the book. Book was well written with a great story.
This is yet another amazing book from L.B. Dunbar! I think it is the perfect end to the Harrington family stories. This is about the elusive James and his wife Evie. It takes us through the heartache that split them apart and the long and painful journey back to each other. It is beautiful and heart-wrenching. It also brings an amazing closing to the Harrington family. I had to take my time with this one to stop and process it along the way. Absolutely amazing!!
I was sad to see this is the last of the Harrington boys. James and Evie made me emotional but I loved it. Loved the whole series
Silver Biker is a captivating, emotional tale about two characters separated by tragedy. This story will give you all the feels as you experience the heart break, the sadness, the love and togetherness all rolled up into this romance. This is James and Evie’s story, two totally different characters from different worlds who had instant connection but who hit rock bottom and were struggling to survive an unthinkable loss. The story was angsty, heartbreaking and steamy, yet it was a riveting tale I could not put down. You will be invested in these characters and be rooting for them to find their way back to each other. I enjoyed this novel and would recommend it to all lovers of second chance romance.
There are no words that can adequately describe this book for a proper review other than to say this is my all time favorite read from LB Dunbar and a read that is going to stay with me for a long time. So many times during this read there were tears in my eyes, my heart was being ripped out and apart and somehow magically put back together. The character, their struggles, their turmoil were also so easy to envision and I have no idea how she wrote these words so perfectly.
It saddens me to think that we will not get another Harrington family book. This is the last book in the Silver Fox Series. I am going to miss the Harrington clan. This rambunctious group was easy to fall in love with each and every book.
James Harrington, Ranger and Evelyn Fitzpatrick, Evie, or most famously known as Ranger’s “Peaches.” Are two characters both full of heartache and had a tortured past that we had to unravel this book.
Throughout this book, I wanted to smack Ranger on the back of the head. I do realize that he was hurting. But good heavens his girl was too. It took him a beat to get it together, but he finally figured out what needed to be done.
Evie was a little too meek for me at times. I wanted to her woman up a little earlier. When you read this, you will get what I am saying. I do not want to give the plot away. She knew what she wanted but needed to fight.
This is a book about heartache and second chances. It is a real love story. You will fall in love with Ranger and Peaches. Well, the entire crazy bunch really.
This book was one heck of an emotional ride. James and Evie are the ultimate in second chances. After experiencing major loss, they separate for years until circumstance brings them back together again. A heart-ripping story of love, loss with lots and lots of heat thrown in. Their chemistry is electric. Couldn’t put this down and it left quite a book hangover as well. Definitely recommend this and the whole Silver Foxes of Blue Ridge series!
I have been waiting for James’ story for a while now. He’s been in the periphery of all the other Harrington Brother books and I needed to know if the broody biker could be redeemed. And L.B. Dunbar did not let me down. Here is your warning, Silver Biker is emotional but it is also sexy and so worth the ride.
To be completely honest, I wasn’t sure if I would like James. He comes off as hard and aloof. And he is, but he is so much more than that. He is a man who feels and loves deeply and is stuck in this spiral of guilt and pain and recklessness. And in the middle of it all was Evie.
I loved Evie’s strength. Her tender heart. How as much as she tried, she couldn’t walk away from James. Even when she wanted to. Even when he gave her every reason to. Even when he gave her what she asked for, she couldn’t stop loving the man.
I’m not going to lie, I got weepy more than once while reading Silver Biker. The tragedy Evie and James suffered broke them in different ways. But the one truth that couldn’t be denied was that these two belonged together; they just had to figure out how to get out of their own way. Full of family, feels and forgiveness, James and Evie’s second-chance romance is proof that you can always come home.
This is one of those books that I had to sit back and digest before I could write a review. It was very in-depth and multilayered. It was gut wrenching and heart breaking at times and other times it was cute and sassy. It is also about a subject that I personally have not experienced but have way to may friends who have.
LB Dunbar is a one click author for me and I have enjoyed all of the Harrington brothers in this series. James is just… James. He’s different than the others. Not in a bad way – just different.
Evie – I cannot imagine what she had to endure with everything that has happened in her life.
This is one of those books that I absolutely recommend, but cannot explain why. Trust me, just read it.
Loved it! I was so glad to see James finally get his happy ending. What a great book, full of ups and downs and unexpected happenings. I love this family and this series.
A second chance comes around for James and Evie. Even after six years apart, these two still love each other. But is love enough to overcome all they have gone through? Absolutely, thoroughly enjoyed this story. LB Dunbar has a special way of pulling the reader in and not letting go!! Highly recommend!!
LB Dunbar never disappoints me. I will always be a fan of her work!
Silver Biker had me hooked from the very first page. I instantly knew right away that I was going to love this story of James and Evie and I truly did. I don’t want to give too much away but this story is packed full of history, heartache, self destruction, and redemption. LB was able to punch you in the gut emotionally but she also hit you with the angst, HOT chemistry, and plenty of steamy scenes to keep you going.
This book is definitely going to my list of 2020 favorites!
A book full of emotions. Love how she wrote their story, prepare for all the sentiments and the ups and downs that accompany them. From the beginning the book gets your attention and you cannot put it down. Love how through the book we get glimpses of what happen before and how difficult and different is everything, but they make it work. Definitely my favorite so far. Highly recommended.
James’ story have been a mystery since the very first book in this series. I have been dying to know all of his secrets!! I love that we get to witness his relationship with Evie, then and now. Their story packs a big ole punch to the heart/gut. Thanks for all the feels on this one!
Silver Biker (The Silver Foxes of Blue Ridge# 4) by L.B. Dunbar. The next in line James Harrington is the black sheep of the family. The biker who was never the same after his son Michael died. We now get to find out his story. 19 years ago while working in search and rescue he comes across a young lady skinny dipping on his family property. They hit it off like 2 combustible elements. A fire that burned quick and extremely hot. Evelyn aka Evie is trying to escape her debutante life when she comes across a man that has her acting way different than her upbringing. This behavior resulted in the beginning of what is and was James and Evie. Now Evie is back. Six years ago when Micheal died so did her and James marriage. Evie wants to move on but there is 1 problem. She is still married to James. Coming to get a divorce has put these combustible elements back together. I enjoyed their story. The way the story was told by going back and forth in time, we were able to get the total story of 2 people who loved fast, hard and never died. My heart went out to James and Evie. They both had family issues and than the death of Michael, multiple miscarriages, their marriage. It all made them human, relatable which made me enjoy this story even the more. An added bonus was their sex life which was off the charts. Hot, steamy and frequent sex!!!!! Oh my!!! Wish I was Evie!!!! 4 stars for me.

Oh my heart! This was such an emotional rollercoaster. James and Evie’s story is one I will never forget. The heartbreak that they go through is devastating. When they do mend their broken hearts they are flying high and deserve all the happiness in the world.
And let me just say, that prologue was everything! Hot & funny!
This entire series has been amazing. I’ve loved each and every Harrington. I’m sad to see the series has ended and can’t wait for something new with the Blue Ridge community. Hopefully we will get Justice’s story…or even Rusty. Maybe Rusty can find someone to straighten him up.
Wow! All through this series we’ve gotten snippets of James AKA Ranger. All the questions I had of – Who is he? What’s his story? Wonder what he did?- is all answered in this book.
This story is by far the most emotional, heartbreaking and heart mending, of the series. I can assuredly say it’s my favorite of the series!
I hope you go in blind. I hope you get to experience this story firsthand and not by other’s opinions. I know it’s hard! I’m a review reader as well! But go by the high star numbers and the titles. Experience this story through fresh eyes and an open heart.
Highly recommend for those that enjoy an emotional story with older characters.
This is a beautiful book about forgiving oneself and forgiving the person you love. Evie and James are married but have been separated for six years due to a tragedy. When Evie returns, they both have to decide will their love survive everything they had to face. I cried many times in this book cause James carried so much weight on his shoulders. I’m so sad this is the last book of this fabulous series. I recommend reading this series, you will never regret it
We’ve been waiting for James Harrington’s story for a while. We knew it was going to be a rough ride, but his heartbreak was especially poignant. James and Evie had a whirlwind beginning and were making a life together when tragedy hit them and hit them hard. Their marriage could not withstand the tragedy, and James pushed Evie and his family away and sought solace wherever he could.
James has been in that holding pattern for years and just existing. Evie has come back to Blue Ridge, ready to move on. Unfortunately, the heart knows what the heart wants, and Evie and James have some much-unfinished business. Their journey back to each other is fraught with James’ feelings of unworthiness and guilt; Evie is dealing with her deep love for James and instincts, telling her to move on. Grief is hard to deal with, but everyone must come to terms with the grief, or it will eat them alive. James’ grief is ever-present. The beauty of this story is how James and Evie learn to heal themselves and each other.
This whole series involving the Harringtons of Blue Ridge has been a pleasure to watch. There has been much healing in the entire Harrington family throughout these books. We’ve seen grief in its many forms bring people and love back to life for these men and their chosen one and only. I know there are still some stories to come out of Blue Ridge, and I hope we may get to see what happens with Justice and Cora, but for now, I am happiest for James and his Peach as they embark on their healed life together.
