Thomas Griffin never thought he’d be a homeless vet at forty-six years old. But when he was no longer useful to the government he’d spent his life serving, they turned their back on him when he needed them most, costing him everything he ever loved. After that, he really didn’t care. Living his life on the fringe was safe and he didn’t have to worry about anything except his next meal. That … safety remains until a beautiful socialite decides to come slumming for Thanksgiving on the wrong side of town and gets herself into trouble.
Over her fifty-five years of life, Lou Ellen Wells had received many blessings. To pay them forward and honor the men in her life who served her country, both living and dead, she cooked Thanksgiving Dinner at the Dallas Veteran’s Services Center every year. It was located in a bad part of town, but she’d never had a problem, until this year when she’s brutally attacked and can’t get to her gun. A bedraggled man with piercing blue eyes jumps to her rescue and saves her with moves out of an action movie. She gives him her card and offers him help, but he tells her doesn’t need saving and takes off like his tail is on fire.
A couple of weeks later, Lou is surprised when the man calls her asking for help of a different kind. A teenage girl he cares about has gone missing in gang territory. He’s afraid she’ll get killed if he doesn’t find her soon. Lou calls in the team to help him, but her price for that help is finding out why her Silent Knight, who is obviously skilled and educated, chooses to be homeless.
But will satisfying her curiosity about Thomas Griffin put her in the crosshairs of a terrorist group even more dangerous than MS-13?

Oh boy, these Deep Six novels just get better and better. Becky McGraw’s latest addition to this fantastic romantic suspense series is sexy, steamy, fast-paced and full of heart. What I love most about this series is how beautifully the characters are developed, and this absolutely delivers on that front. Especially wonderful that we have two older (but no less kick-ass) lead characters in this one, which opens up the possibility of some different kinds of plot developments – and they are delivered, in spades, via fantastic writing!
OMG this book is absolutely a fantastic read. The characters will grab you and take you on a fantastic journey. One if my most favorite books in this series. A myst read book LIVE IT !!!!!
“Silent Knight: Deep Six Security Book 7” by Becky McGraw is a great read. I absolutely loved Lou Ellen and Griff’s story! This is a wonderful addition to the Deep Six Series, packed with action, romance, suspense, humor, surprises, veterans, entertaining characters, and more. I can’t wait to see what happens next in this awesome series. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, suspense, veterans, and series.
This series is one of my go to reads!
Silent night deep six security is my all-time favorite. Lou Ellen is my all-time favorite heroines. She is strong, sweet, hard-headed, and mean as whip when she needs to be. She is also a sweetheart with a heart of gold.
Lou Ellen an Griff’s story is one that will keep you reading to the very last page. The roller coaster that they go on ups and downs and a few corkscrews thrown in. Make sure you have a hanky near by for a full box of Kleenex boxes because you’re going to need it and you’re going to laugh out loud and you’re going to say what the heck. I can guarantee you will love this book
This is another amazing book by Becky McGraw. I loved Lou Ellen, she is smart, capable, sexy, caring and tough. Griff is a perfect match, he is strong, silent, determine, protective, sexy and caring. The plot is unique and intriguing. There is plenty of action, drama, chemistry, suspense, romance, spice, mystery, and emotion with twist and turns to keep your interest until the very end, I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend.
It’s rare to find a book where the heroine is an older woman. Lou Ellen isn’t young, nor is she a wimp. She is typical of today’s womaen, strong, self-reliant with the confidence and take no prisoners attitude that keeps all the Deep Six Security guys in line.
She is also an avid supporter of veterans, and seeing them homeless breaks her heart a bit. Volunteering is a way to help just a litte.
Griff on the other hand has his own issues and reasons why he is homeless instead of on the grid. He’s not young, but he’s not old either.
In a gripping tale of breaking down walls, kidnapping, coersion and more, Griff and Lou Ellen find love and a bond with two children that will keep you turning the pages until the end.
You’ll need some tissues, and keep hydrated, the romance is quite steamy.
Silent Knight Rocks 5 Stars
Thomas Griffin or “Griff” and Lou Ellen “Queenie” are a match made in heaven. Griff has been homeless and on the run from the terrorist who killed his family when he meets Lou Ellen. Becky McGraw has the amazing ability to write a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat while making you laugh at her sarcastic wit. Her character development is first rate you know these people and care about them. Her secondary characters give great credence to the story. As always the men of Deep Six Security are at hand to solve every problem presented to them. You will love this book

Silent Knight is book 7 in the Deep Six Security series by Becky McGraw and is another suspenseful, page turner and well written book.
Thomas “Griff” Griffin spent his life in the military but when things went bad and he lost everything the government cut him loose with nothing. Not caring about himself any longer he becomes homeless and under the radar until he finds and helps a young runaway in the homeless community. Until one night he sees a woman attacked in the bad part of town at Thanksgiving and comes to her rescue and saves her life which starts him on a journey he never expected.
Lou Ellen Wells works for the Deep Six Security and for a number of years has gone to the Dallas Veterans Service Center to help serve Thanksgiving dinner and to pay it forward for all services these men and women did for their country. When she leaves the center she is attacked but a homeless man comes to her rescue and deep in her mind she knows he is a former military man. She gives him her card and offers to help him but he wants nothing to do with her or her help. Until a few weeks later, he calls asking for her and the company she works for to help find the teen he is helping who is now missing and believed to have gone into gang territory to help her brother.
Can these two find the missing teen and her brother and still stay alive when the gang makes them all a mark?? Will Lou Ellen find out why her Silent Knight chooses to be homeless?? Will they also find that the attraction between them is so strong that secrets need to come out before they can find their HEA??
Becky McGraw brings together two unlikely to ever meet people into each others lives in this beautiful, heartfelt story that melts the heart – SILENT KNIGHT.
Take a sassy, down to earth, ready to step in, always willing to help others, Office Manager for Deep Six Security who literally collides with a man. A homeless veteran, cast aside, betrayed by his country, with a tragic past smothered in guilt. Oh WOW!! – sparks start flying – thick and fast.
Both are strong minded, determined, no matter what the personal cost is to their hearts and lives. They will work together to save two innocent and jaded street kids from falling into an already failed welfare system.
Griff is stubborn. He’s the protector. His past feeds the guilt that shadows his every move at the tragic way his wife/daughter paid with their lives because of his job and choices he made and a government forced on him. This keeps him off the grid, not always by choice but circumstances at the hands of his countries mishandling. It was also to protect others from becoming yet another sad statistic to his guilt. Sometimes… there are special people that come into our life that are just as stubborn, just as determined to help rectify a wrong and turn our world upside down. Maybe it’s that Christmas miracle? Just maybe her name is Lou Ellen.
Bringing together the entire Deep 6 Team, add touches of that magical Christmas spirit, fast paced action with the additional stirrings of love and you have a recipe, for a wild ride of angst and high stakes drama. Amongst the angst, there is always plenty of witty banter amongst the Deep Six team to lighten the toughest of loads. This is the Deep Six Family at it’s best.
It’s a beautifully written novella… when you have wonderful characters you want more to their story, because you have become invested in their lives. I wanted more to Lou Ellen and Griff’s story… but no matter – their story right here is just as wonderful to read. A page turner from the very start, get caught up in the love, romance and dramatic suspense in their journey. Read what it takes to bring two beautiful, yet stubborn souls together to find their own happiness and fulfillment.
Ms. McGraw has written a wonderful heartfelt, gripping read just in time to enjoy for the holiday season. Silent Knight is a great addition to the Deep Six series and is loaded with emotion, action and romance. Lou Ellen finally gets her story and what a story it is. It definitely tugs at the heart strings and packs an emotional punch. The characters will pull you in with their witty banter, laugh out loud moments, fast moving action, sweet romance and heart-breaking and heart-pounding drama. There are several poignant moments when you just want to pull everyone in for a hug and hang on tight. The characters are well written with a fascinating storyline that sucks you in from the first page. I love the fact that Lou Ellen and Griff are more mature with some life experiences to draw from, giving you a better connection to them and helping them feel more real. This is definitely one you do not want to miss out on.
