Diana Stone, the last of Tristan and Nina’s triplets, struggled from the day she was born. Until a horrible accident left her broken and trapped by her fears.

Once, Diana gave him her heart at a time when he needed it the most. Now, as he looks at her as a man and not a boy anymore, can he give her what she needs most so they can find happiness forever this time?

This is the story I’ve been waiting for since Ethan’s book….. Diana’s story and it was so worth the wait! Through each of the Stone siblings books you discover the story behind why Dianna is the way she is and though you may think she is weak, damaged and broken she is far from those descriptions. Diana has been through a traumatic experience and a long road to recovery but she is a strong, determined woman who is done with being scared, done with hiding….. she’s ready to live her life but her way! Cole has been part of the Stone family since he was a kid….. Ethan’s bestfriend, like a brother. Cole has lost everything but the one light in his life is Diana, the one person who calms the chaos and the one person he shouldn’t want or touch. Diana and Cole’s story is one that I couldn’t put down, I was so intrigued with their story that I couldn’t put it down even if I tried! Prepare to fall in love with a beautiful, tenacious woman and the man that stole her heart a long time ago!
I couldn’t put the book down. I was “Just one more chapter” till the end. Who ever said Diana was weak is in for a big surprise. She may be scared and dameged but she is strong. And Cole is so good with her, he knows exactly what she needs. I could see a movie played in front of my eyes while reading, like with every book from K. M. Scott I read. A few authors can do that for me. You’ll need handkerchiefs, lots of handkerchiefs. Yet another great book from amazing author.
Diana and Cole had a brief time together years ago when they were both young then they parted ways and both went through big changes in life Diana’s not long after parting and Cole’s recently. Now they have a second chance at things if both of them can get over whats holding them back and well that’s not going to be as easy as we think due to their own concerns and well the rest of the Stone family will have something to say also of course. This was such a great book to finish the Stone family series and as much as I am going to miss them at least I know I can binge read them all start to finish now!!
Webster defines weak as: liable to break or give way under pressure; easily damaged. Well, someone just shot that description of her completely out the water.
Silent as Stone is the last of the Stone kids, The last one in a legacy of power, and strength.
Diana has always been timid. Life dealt her a rough situation and because of that she withdrew from life and the world, surviving the best way she knew. Her family has protected her, sheltered her and surrounded her with an at times overbearing love.
Cole has been Ethan’s best friend for years, but he also has damage and pain in his background. During all the tragedies Cole and Diana have faced they formed a sweet and tender caring for each other at a young age.
But of course, life led them down two separate paths . . . until they reconnected. What happens is nothing short of what miracles are made of. Cole has secrets that are revealed, and Diana shows that she is far from weak.
What a great expression of unconditional love and a wonderful testament to the Stone family. Great job and all the stars, K.M. Scott.
Diana had her whole life in front of her until one event changed her life. Now on outside she looks perfectly put together but on inside she’s unable to do the things she loved. One day her brother’s best friend Cole decides to visit her. She’d always had a crush but over time they did their own thing. Cole is attracted to her but will he act on it? Can Cole help Diana get back to what she loves?
This is the tenth book in the Heart of Stone Series (and the third book in the next generation). You can read this story as a standalone, but believe me, you don’t want to miss one book. I love this Series so much! Diana and Cole’s story is a beautifully written second chance to love, and brother’s best friend. They are both amazing characters. They share a strong and sizzling chemistry. Diana is a beautiful and intriguing character. Cole is handsome, supportive and protective. I love the Family spirit in this Series. I highly recommend this story and this Series.
Silent As A Stone is the heart of all the books in this series. Diana and Cole have become my favorite couple to read about. Diana had me a mess and pretty much broke me with all hurdles that she had to overcome. Cole was written to perfection. Even though he knew what Diana needed, he didn’t realize she would set him free from his past, present, and future.
Tristan and Nina love their children and their dynamic glows with this story. Ethan still plays a huge part in this story since he has always been there. It was heart wrecking watching him struggling to let her live her own life.
Diana is gold. She is just a good person from the inside and out. You will fall for her. You will feel her pain and fears. Then you will feel the connection she has with Cole. The father and daughter moment had me in tears.
Those are some of my favorite moments. I wish I could write all about this book, but I would be spoiling it for you book loving readers. Silent As A Stone is magic! You will not stop reading until you get to the very end!
For honest review. Wow 10 stars beautiful . This is diana stone’s story of finally after the accident that put her in a coma .8 years later she finally getting over her pstd and feeling broken with Cole knight who helps . These two together makes you know what love really is.
“Silent As A Stone” deserves a whole lot more than five stars, but that is all it will let me give. Diana Stone, is the quietest, sweetest, smartest, and most innocent of the Stone triplets. She doesn’t like being the center of attention, loud parties, and really doesn’t care about her families money. She wants to sit on the highest court in the land but fate has other plans for her. A horrible accident has left Diana afraid of almost everything, she is only a shell of the person she once was. Make no mistake, Diana may be broken and afraid, but she is a Stone and she is stronger than she even knows.
Her brothers best friend, Cole Knight has cared deeply for Diana since they were kids, and he is no longer willing to keep his distance. He understands Diana, he gets her, and nothing will stop him from helping her get back to living.
Get your tissues ready, Cole is just so sweet to Diana. And if that is not enough, we get to see the strong Tristan Stone trying to be what his daughter needs, and Nina Stone being the level headed one as usual. This book be read as a standalone, but the entire series is fantastic!!
Since KM Scott said she was going to write the Stone children stories, I have been waiting for Diana’s story the whole time. Through Ethan’s and Tressa’s story, the more and more I was intrigued about Diana. And out of the three, Diana is by far my favorite. My heart broke for her as we learn about her through the previous books, but seeing her point of view, you really feel in depth what is going on in her mind and why she is the way she is. I love through this story, you really feel how much she is trying to take control of her life and not hide anymore. Granted, there are moments I really wanted to smack both of her siblings because of how much they wanted to coddle her and not let her fly. Then Cole enters her life again, and I loved seeing how these two connected and how Diana flourished with him. Even though everything in Cole’s world is a mess, Diana helps him stay grounded and wanting to be a better man.
Overall, I loved this story so so much. I couldn’t put it down once I started. The one thing I love about Scott’s books is how in depth they are. You get raw emotions, real situations and so much more in this book. This one is a stunning read about living your life, moving forward and oh so much more. So snag this one up because you need to get lost in the Stone world!
