I LOVE LOVE LOVE this series!
Patricia Briggs’ “Mercy Thompson” novels are both hilarious and thrilling. She combines action and the supernatural in unexpected ways. I’ve got the whole series.
Darn great series
Love Patricia Briggs
This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I didn’t like this book much compared the the rest in the series. The fact that Mercy is alone pretty much through the entire book takes away a lot of the funny, heartwarming moments that we got from earlier books. There is little romance between Adam and her, no stepdaughter and stepmom moments and very little scenes with the pack members. And the fact that Zee isn’t in it hurts my heart a little bit (Love him!). We instead get a bunch of new characters, which would be fine if they had a bit more personality. Briggs is usually very good at that part, but I felt that she fell through on that in this book.
It was not all bad of course. I love the twist ending (no spoilers here. You guys who has finished the book knows what I’m talking about ;). What I love the most is when Adam finally reunites with Mercy again. Big romance girl here!
I feel a bit bad writing this about Briggs work considering what’s happened. Just so you all now, I’m a big fan of this author and will continue reading every book she publishes until the end!
Mercy and Adam are great characters.
I love these books
Great continuing saga of these charaters that all P. Briggs fans love. Always awaiting the next book in this series.
Another Mercy Thompson HIT!
I like all of Patricia Briggs’ books.
This is a really good series. It’s action-packed and entertaining and shows a different take on Fae, shapeshifters, vampires magic. Now would be a good time to buy & read; the author is caught up in the story lines and a reader can follow through with very little breaks between the next book.
I love her books and how you don’t quite know the ending
Got my “MERCY” fix. Totally satified! Briggs delivers the goods with another spellbinding story!
I loved this book ( Like I like all the others in the series) , my one and only complaint is that It was jumping from place to place. It was a bit confusing at first, but leveled out later on.
I can NOT say enough about the Mercy Thompson series. These books are simply amazing and engrossing. The characters are relatable, everything is perfect.
Briggs is an auto buy for me. This series is a must read for paranormal romance fans.
Great world building as usual . . .Read it in three evenings! Mercy is abducted by the Lord of the night and taken to Italy. Worse still she can’t feel the pack bonds. Naturally, our wily coyote girl escapes and, being very lucky, ends up in Prague-just in time for the “little” vampire problem plaguing that ancient city. Several chapters are in other points of view which I found interesting.
Patricia Briggs has the ability to create evil characters that are still sympathetic. I love her complicated plots that string conspiracies, machinations and politics together to form a satisfactory conclusion. (Thank you Thesaurus). You will adore Stacia.
Love, love, love this series. I especially enjoyed the fun “reveal” regarding the pilot!! You gotta read this to find out.
I love the world which Ms. Briggs has created for the Mercy Thompson series. Each book continues to build the story line as well as the characters. If you like contemporary urban fantasy, this series is a must read.
Love Patricia Briggs and will always read her Mercy Thompson series – all of them, no matter how many she writes. Unique characters with plot twists that sneak up on you when you think you are going one way, and discover you are going another. Great writing and seamless action. The end is always satisfactory feeling you have gone on a very entertaining ride and can’t wait to go again. Davlyn Jones
