Signal 69: Holding Jenna
The Signal Series, Book 4
By: LC Taylor
Narrated by: Craig A. Hart
LC Taylor can do know wrong with this series. Book 4 of 5, this book had me fro the first chapter until the very end. Jenna has settled in to her teaching position and a new life after a horrible marriage. Looking forward to finding her new normal, she bumps into good looking policeman, Finn Hudson. Neither is willing to start a relationship, but the pull is there. Now with a series of threatening circumstances, Finn finds himself protecting Jenna. Will these two give into their passion? Will the threat continue? High action, incredible chemistry and fantastic characters move this story along at a fast pace. I loved it! Right down to the dog! Craig A Hart narrates this installment, and I thoroughly enjoyed his interpretation of the story. He has great voices and his pace is perfect. I can’t wait to hear the last one in this series!

(Warning: part of a series, but each have different sets of main characters within their world, each book has its own HEA)
I cannot get enough of this author and this series!
Intensely sensuous, wrought with emotion, and so well written that I absolutely could not put it down!
Each book has been cohesive and enlightening to the overall theme between these characters.

This is the fourth book in the Signal Series and just as good as the first 3. Jenna is starting over and meets Finn. Sparks fly but it takes a little more from Finn to bring Jenna back. Lots of heated scenes and an excellent plot.

Jenna and Finn are perfect together.
Jenna left her abusive husband Alec in the rear view as she sets off to reinvent herself. Working at the school making new friends, maybe finding a real healthy relationship with a food man. Enter Finn, he’s a cop went through heck with his family about being a cop and after his ex wife he is emotionally stunted, no commitment no strings just a string of wanting women lined up and just waiting for his call. But when he answers a call for help his life changes in a instant. But now the tables have turned the one woman who has been able to keep his attention keeps backing away.
Jenna and Finn make it work. But a visit from Alec at the school with malicious intent turns deadly. Jenna is in danger. Finn is on pins and needles.

Can two people hearts heal after someone from their past has broken them? Jenna moves to a different town to start over after she put her ex-husband in jail for his abuse. Finn is the cop whose family wants him to settle down and the women want. He just wants to do his job. He gets called out to a couple of calls where Jenna is involved. He can’t get her out of his head and she doesn’t trust anyone. She starts getting stalked, she turns to Finn for help. Now Finn is trying to heal from what his ex did so he can love Jenna and help her heart heal from her ex. This is an emotional read. The characters are relatable. There are trigger warnings.

It’s okay to run, hide then gain strength and never surrender! Finn decides to serve and protect instead of resting on his family’s wealth and influence. He divored his cheating wife, Marley and never looked back. Jenna is divorced from toxic, lethal Alex and happily reinventing and restructuring her life. Will Jenna give Finn a chance? Is Finn ready to try for forever? This story is a nail biter! I read with locked fingers. LC did an excellent job building the story with a few giggles and hotness thrown in. Well done! LC Taylor doesn’t disappoint in this new book of this series. If you like heart pumping romance, suspense and action, this is the book for you. Once I started it, I couldn’t stop! Jenna and Finn have plenty of chemistry that they try to ignore, but when Jenna’s ex-husband comes back into the picture, making trouble for Jenna, Finn is there to lend a helping hand. Jenna also learns that there is definitely more to Finn than the arrogant ass that she originally thought he was.

Another great book in this series where the title always refers top a code used by the relevant department the story is about this time is is 69 this time it is person held hostage. The stories is this series always flow well and leave you feeling good when you tum the last page and isn’t that what reading is all about
Jenna has moved to Bakersfield to work as a kindergarten teacher after finally working up the courage to report her husband for abuse. She divorced him while he was still in jail and is trying to move on with her life When she is pulled over for having broken tail lights she meets Finn a police officer (though he is wealthy in his own right) He believes her when she says the lights must be vandalism a fact proved when he drives her home and they find the smashed glass in her driveway. Soon more things happen to her car and Finn moves he into his home to keep her safe soon she explains about her husband and on checking he is the wind Is he the one stalking her and will he take it further When she is trapped in her classroom with her ex things will take a decidedly bad turn but will Finn and his brothers in blue be able to rescue her in time.
The story line was good, the character work was terrific and the book had a fairly smooth flow to it. This was another great addition to the series and it kept me entertained.

I need more of this kind of story. It was a marvelously romantic and intriguing book. I cannot wait for the next in the series. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
Fast paced story of two people dealing with their past. Finn’s ex cheated on him and he’s in no hurry to trust again. He has his job as a police sergeant, his house and his dog. Jenna has a restraining order against her Ex and is starting over in a new job and new town, but is afraid to be with a man again. When someone starts stalking her, Finn can’t stay away. There is nothing new to the story, but the characters are well developed and it’s not difficult to get caught up in the suspense.

She Deserved A Good Guy…
by and1515
Having to begin again.. Starting over however you want to say it my life took a detour I hadn’t counted on and I’m truly grateful to be among the living.
They’d meet in college and at first everything had been absolutely perfect.
But one day I found myself isolated living with a monster.
The last thing I expected was to see lights behind me and now I’m stunned looking at the back-end of my vechile.
This afternoon hadn’t gone as planned but at least she didn’t get a ticket and he was nice enough to give me a ride home.
My parents have never been one to beat around the bush especially when showing their displeasure in my choice of careers or the fact I refused to beg my cheating spouse to come back nope I quickly divorced her so why would I belittle myself in that fashion.
With the finally days of this school year things tend to be more about fun then anything else.
Two years that was it he wrecked her almost put her six feet under and now all she can do is cry like a darn baby.
He hated to be the bearer of bad news but she needed to know before she tried to drive her car.
Okay maybe last night might have been a little to much for her but I couldn’t seem to stop myself.
Some how this crazy chick seemed to worm her way into my world even when I tried not to let her but now she’s my best friend so sharing my story still isn’t easy for me. And yes I know deep down she’s absolutely right about him.
Things are starting to add up and
I know for Jenna talking about her past isn’t easy but now many things make a lot of sense.
It was my choice from the very beginning I wanted to be with someone who thought beautiful things about me and the most definitely was Finn.
The moment I read her note I just knew I can’t explain how I’d promised Jenna I’d keep her safe now I’m aiming to keep that promise.

I enjoyed reading Jenna’s story, the characters are great and the story pulls you in, I couldn’t put it down until I reached the end
L. C. Taylor has written a 5-star book that has Jenna moving to a new town to try and start over after an abusive marriage.
Jenna has moved to Bakersfield after she has her ex-husband arrested and put in jail for all the abuse she has been put through from him. Finn has been trying to get Jenna to go out with him but she doesn’t want anything to do with him. Things start happening to her car and she can’t think of who it is doing this to her. After the third time, something happens to her car in her driveway, Finn feels like it’s not safe for her to stay at her house and tells her she can stay with him. Jenna wakes up screaming from a nightmare and Finn is there for her. The next morning Finn tells her they need to talk. He asks her if she knows of anyone who could be doing these things to her. She finally tells him her story about her ex-husband. After she goes to sleep, Finn calls his captain and tells him what Jenna told him and asks his captain to check things out. He gets called back and told that Jenna’s ex-husband had not checked in after he got out of prison-like he was supposed to do. They all think that he is the one behind everything happening to Jenna. Jenna tells Finn that she needs to go to the store and asks if he could take her, he tells her she could use his car if she takes him to work and then after the store to go straight back to his place. She tells him she could do that. When she gets to the store, she finds out she doesn’t have her wallet and she thinks it fell out of her purse in her classroom so she calls Finn and tells him what is going on and where she is going. One of the detectives tells Finn that Jenna’s ex-husband has been seen in town and that is when he tries to call Jenna but just gets her voice-mail. Finn tells his captain that he can’t get ahold of Jenna. Finn tells him that Jenna is going to the school and that is where the ex-husband is waiting on her at.
Will Jenna ever get away from her ex-husband and be able to let Finn in?
Can Finn be able to show Jenna that he is nothing like her ex-husband and get to her in time to save her?
This was a wonderful book to read and I would recommend this book to anyone.
I received an ARC of this book for my voluntarily and honest review.
This is the first book by this author I have read and I really enjoyed it. Though the book was a quick read the characters and story were fully developed. The story as able to convey all the emotions of dealing with the subject of domestic violence and still incorporate a sweet love story.
Spoilers
Jenna Hardy has started her life over as a middle school teacher after almost being killed by her abusive ex-husband. She is still very cautious about people and has one good friend Becky who is a teacher also. Finn Hudson is a patrol sergeant on the local force, divorced and interested in Jenna. He pulls her car over for broken taillights and they discover it has been vandalized. Next her car tires are slashed and she is informed her ex has been let out of prison for good behavior. Her car and home continue to be vandalized so Finn has her move in with him for protection. Finn and Jenna give in to their attraction and start a relationship. Her ex confronts her in her classroom and she ends up killing him. She and Finn get engaged and have their HEA.
This was a fast paced story… with that being said I absolutely loved it! Finn and Jenna’s story gives you hope. Both have been hurt and done wrong in previous relationships, wanting nothing to do with love. However, they can only fight their attraction for so long before finally giving in. This is a love story that deals with real life situations and shows that anything is possible if you just believe. Has some steamy love scenes too! A good read that I couldn’t put down.
