WARNING: THIS IS AN EXTREME HORROR NOVEL. There is gore. There is bad language. There are scenes of a sexual nature. But hidden underneath it all is also a chilling story. Please do not purchase this book if you are easily shocked, disgusted or offended. This book is not for you.A family will do anything to survive after a nuclear attack has left their world in ruins. Actions which even surprise … even surprise them…
Although a stand-alone tale – for those of you who enjoyed the story of Sick Bastards, there is a second one in the series available here:

Not for the faint of heart or squeamish, with a plethora of taboo themes crammed into this fiendishly funny horror romp. Despite incest, cannibalism and zombies, there’s a good story line worth reading. Maybe I have a really twisted sense of humor, but there were passages that I snorted in laughter, despite the gruesome action.
Complete shock type horror. This trilogy pushes boundaries. Fun story. Good little read
Couldn’t finish it. It was kind of lame and tried too hard to shock but failed.
Once again, I am thankful I got this for free – I wish I could have tried it without wasting time. I will say the writing was reasonably good, even though I did not care for the constant jumping around in time, and was confused by it on occasions. However the basic idea wasn’t novel at all, wasn’t horrifying, and not terribly interesting. The writing was good enough that I finished the book, but I definitely will not be buying others by this author.
Not for the faint of heart.
Hated it
A very twisted story. Great surprise ending.
This is a book for people who want to read something totally different and out of the ordinary.
Gore overdone ‘the diabolical government did it’
The book tells an intriguing horror story and is absolutely grisly, but it’s not written terribly well. If you favor nausea-inducing scenes to colorful, creative prose, you’ll be pleased by the endless peversity and death-stench offered by “Sick Bastards.”
I did not make it through the first chapter of this book….it is disgusting. The title says it all. My fault, I should have known.
very disturbing
I thought it was going to be about zombies after the bombing. It was not. It was sick. I am not a prude but it was very sexual and a lot of it. Not my reading style and the ending really big dissapointment.
My first (and probably last) foray into the “EXTREME HORROR” genre wasn’t particularly horrific. It’s more softcore torture porn than anything else. However, having said that, the protagonist was interesting enough to keep me engaged through two volumes and a short story. But, meh.
What an odd book
Absolutely shocking from page 1. You’ll understand the title immediately.
Gratuitous, predictable, I only finished it to give it a bad review.
Very shocking. It was hard to read but hard to put down at the same time. Not for the faint of heart.
Be warned. It will leave you impacted. Some good, some bad.
You have been warned, this book is sick. I thought the disclaimer on the book was overkill before I read it. After reading it, I understood why he added it.
