Cassie Franklin trips over nothing on perfectly flat surfaces every day, and she cannot seem to be able to simultaneously speak and look into her audience’s eyes. Cassandra Frank is the ultimate tease; her words have aroused, intrigued and captured the heart of thousands… And somehow, they are the same person. Hiding the fact that she writes erotica isn’t much of a challenge – no one would ever … – no one would ever think that a plain, boring little accountant like Cassie could so much as read anything so scandalous…
But one day, she makes a huge mistake.
Carter Harris employs so many people he can’t exactly recall all their names, but strangely, he knows her. She isn’t an executive, she isn’t sexy, or otherwise noticeable, but the girl is cute – in a helpless, unique sort of way.
He can’t pretend to say she ever crosses his mind, though… Until the day he finds the manuscript she worked on during her lunch hour.
Some girls do it is a series of adult romance with explicit content. Expect standalone novellas about different couples from the same group of friends, each of them ending on a happily for now note. There won’t be another book about any of the couples.

This book features many of my favorite things… a feisty heroine, a sexy hero, snappy dialogue, and some sizzling bedroom scenes. My only complaint would be that it’s too short. I want more!! On to read the next one in this series.
I absolutely LOVED this book! I didn’t stop until I finished the book. Like I literally did NOT put my phone down ONCE! I honestly would’ve liked it more if it actually showed him proposing. But overall…wonderful!
Cute premise. I was cheering for the awkward female lead the entire story!
Wish it was longer, I wasn’t ready for the story to end
Just a great book. Enjoyed that a chubby woman can be a love interest and considered sexy
I loved this book… only thing is I wish it were longer. The character we’re fun and well thought out and I truly enjoyed reading this short book!
Love the characters! Made me laugh and have the urge to make people listen to passages I found particularly funny
Just discovered this book via Bookbub and it’s so cute! I’m usually into darker stuff but I’m a sucker for books about writers. Now I’ll probably check out the other books in this series.
I didn’t like the way the book ended but I like the storyline
This book sat on my kindle to be read for a, unfortunately, long time. When I got an email from BookBub for her latest novella that released, I bought it. When I couldn’t stop reading it and was sad when it was over, I decided to see about the other books in the series. To my surprise and joy, I owned the first one (I have so many books on my kindle, it is always a surprise to find out I already own a book I wanted to read). I loved it, it was so funny. I always love books with shy, quirky women in it, since I am one. Definitely in my to be read again soon pile.
What a full of humours quick read.
It is my first read by this author but I laughed so much that I have already the box set in line in my Kindle.
I love everything, all the characters are so very nicely drawn, from the jealous h’s boss, to the PA of the CEO, his mother…
Carter is an awesome specimen of alpha male with the heart of a scout girl.
While Cassie is a lovely kind and shy but funny woman with a very naughty side.
I adored every interaction the h and H had, they made me smile and laugh.
If you want to enjoy yourself for a short full of fun moment, don’t miss this book.
Cute story with fun characters. It felt a bit rushed but in the end it was a nice, funny at some points, fast read.
This was a freebie. Its a quick, cute, and funny novella! Gotta say the assistant made this ending a wow! Happy Reading!
I wished the book was longer and had a better ending.
Short and not what the preview suggested it would be like.
Put it in my Find out More, SweetBossyKeeper that was TooFunny Collections. Which means I would probably read it again.GEM5/21/20
Would have liked it to go longer. Didn’t feel finished to me.
I loved this book. It was funny and Witty and romantic.
Fun read!
3,5 stars
‘Shy girls write it better’ by May Sage was the first story that I read of this writer. I was intrigued by the title and the blurb and the book was free, so I decided to try it. Just like I hoped, this was a fun, light story. It was a short story, novella length, so everything moved at a quick pace but I didn’t mind that, I was in the mood for a short read. For a novella, the story was good developed but like some other readers mentioned, I also thought that the end was a bit quick. I had loved one more scene or chapter of them together. But the story does have a happy end. We got both POV’s, which I liked. Both characters were likeable.
I enjoyed this quick read.
