Tabitha and Bryon have been best friends for awhile. Tabitha has been in love with him but he doesn’t want to risk their friendship by being with her. However every man she does get involve with Bryon has found a way to run him off. Now she is working on an editing job and is friends with the author she’s working with and he tells her what to do in order to get Bryon’s attention. She never believed any of what he said would work but slowly Bryon is changing from being against them being together. Bryon is afraid that he is going to lose Tabitha and he’ll do whatever he needs to in order to keep her. Will he be open to being with her now that she isn’t as easily reached as before? Can Tabitha move on if he still doesn’t want to move forward with her?
This is a great story that I couldn’t put down and even had me laughing at parts. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

He either needs to make his move or step aside and let someone else make her happy
So what do you do when the woman you have loved for the last three years put you in the “friend zone”. Well if you are Byron Wolff you sabotage every date or possible relationship she has during that time. Even going so far as getting into an accident with your motorcycle and making everyone around you crazy. Byron is one of those good guys who is also sexy, thoughtful, a great friend, funny, has a great job and did I mention is “sex on a stick”. Three years ago he met Tabitha when he was dating the nasty, cheating woman that lived across the hall from her. One night when he found her in bed with someone else Tabitha saved him from getting arrested by pulling him into her apartment and then pretending they were a couple when the cops came knocking. Since that point they have been best friends and also in love with each other. But when Byron asked her out fairly quickly Tabitha told him to take some time to get over his ex and what he heard was “you are being placed in the friend zone”, when she really just meant ask me again in a little while.
Tabitha gets a new job as the editor to a Broadway playwrite. This is the perfect job for Tabitha as she wants to write plays and this will give her the connections and experience she needs. When her new boss meets Byron he immediately recognizes that Byron is in love with Tabitha and is very territorial of her. So he devises a plan to make Byron quite literally go out of his mind with jealousy and finally make the move he needs to in order to have Tabitha……..in other words Crazy Byron was about to come out in full force with no apologies!!!
Shut Up & Kiss Me is a funny, romantic, cute, sexy and entertaining story by Matilda Martel. You can just picture these two as they are so right for each other but all it took was one innocent comment that led to three years of sexual frustration for each of them and more than a little crazy peeking out during that time also. I think we all know of friends who are like this……….perfect for each other but too stubborn to admit it to themselves. This is a definite recommended book.
A fantastic, interesting, well developed, funny, witty, passionate, emotionally deep, steamy, and engaging read. The characters are amazing; the chemistry between them is beautiful and off the charts. Definitely recommended.

Loved this friends to lovers romance. Bryon and Tabby have been friends forever but they both had crushes on each other and they weren’t sure of how to tell the other how they feel. Tabby was tired of waiting so she started dating much to his dislike. It was so much fun watching them finally express their feelings towards to each other. Loved this read and can’t wait to read more.

I liked this story a lot. The characters were funny and entertaining. It cracked me up that they were in love with each other, but not acknowledging it.
Byron and Tabitha are best friends and they’re in love with each other. Neither of them owns up to it though. Byron considers Tabby to be his, and scares away, meddles, and sabotages her dates and relationships she tries to have with other men. He doesn’t want to lose her before he can tell her how he feels, but he also doesn’t want to scare her away with his craziness. Tabitha has waited three years for Byron to tell her that he loves her. Her patience is at an end and she doesn’t want to keep waiting. Tabby’s new boss sees the situation with Byron and decides to help her get Byron to finally admit his feelings.
Byron was nuts, but in such a sweetly obsessive way that you couldn’t help but love him. Tabby was awesome, but I really didn’t understand why she couldn’t be the one to tell him that she loved him first. I loved that Ajax saw what was going on and was all gung ho to help her get Byron. Byron and Tabby’s happy ever after was wonderful. I recommend reading this book.

Their story was cute, sweet, and turned incredibly steamy. Both in love with the other and neither realizing it. Byron is sexy, sweet and finally gets his head straight with the help of Tabby’s new boss. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to Ajax’s story.

Tabitha and Byron are best friends. Psst… don’t say anything, but they’re secretly in love with each other. She lives to make him jealous, hoping that will spur him to make a move on her. He lives to drive off her dates and potential relationships, but is too afraid to take the big step. But her new boss, with his crazy work times, and happy hours, and working at his house in the Hamptons… This is a new-to-me author, and I’m so glad I took a chance on this really nice book. Byron is so sweet, but unwilling to even think about acting on his feelings, until his friend Max gives him an ultimatum – “Either you make your move, or you step aside.” The good Dr. Easton has a plan for Tabby to get Byron moving, although she’s afraid it will backfire. The conversations throughout the book – not just between Tabby and Byron, but all of the characters – are hilarious. There’s just the right amount of steam, and a whole lotta fun.

Loved it! This is a fast paced book, with wonderful banter between all the characters. Byron and Tabitha have been friends for three long years, and loved each other just as long. While they have acknowledged they love each other, neither has specified it as “in love”. I love that Byron is a little sensitive, a little needy, but watch out when that flips. He’s not just alpha, he’s Crazy Byron. And Tabitha is just the one to get him to turn into Crazy Byron! Very fun lighthearted story! I’m very much looking forward to reading more in this series.

Byron Wolff and Tabitha Devine are the best of friends and have a really lengthy secret-love they are hiding from each other. Three years and Byron still hasn’t made a move because, even though he wants her more than anything else, he is afraid that the extreme “needy” side of his personality will scare her away.
Tabby texted Byron to meet in the park for some lunch and great news she wanted to share! She had gotten the editor/assistant job for Mr. Ajax Easton who had been impressed with her work. She would actually be working on Broadway plays! And she would be getting double the pay of her last job and would start tomorrow! A car will pick her up in the morning to drive her to the theater. Then she will meet with the producer and director for the play that she will help him put together. She was giddy with excitement. But looking over at Byron, she is thinking he is everything she wants – and yet so far out of reach. Will he ever make a move toward her?
This was a cute story line where the two characters just won’t open up and tell each other that their fantastic friendship is so much more! Plotting and planning will be necessary to convince Byron to make that decision – should he tell her how he feels or risk losing her to another guy! Grab your copy and see how he decides!
Adorable best friends who are too afraid to take that final step into what could be so much more. Love these type of storylines of best friends make the best lovers. Enjoyed their backstory of how they became friends and all the antics that Byron did to block Tabitha from ever getting a boyfriend. I like this writing style of how friendly and approachable these characters are written, where you can picture some of your own acquaintances in this type of scenarios.

Once again Matilda Martel has written a wonderful story, that just flows from page to page and wanted the reader wanting more. The Shut up and Kiss Me is sweetly, witty with feels coming off the pages and melodramatic with a charming sense of humor that holds tight to your heart. A definite one click read. Happy reading everyone!!

This is the first book that I’ve read by this author, it was well-written with an entertaining friends to lovers storyline. The story flowed well and was really quick to read. The characters are incredibly likable, both have flaws but love each other, warts and all…. both Byron and Tabitha have loved each other for years but didn’t want to ruin their friendship. But when Byron thinks Tabitha has found someone else, he goes all out to win her heart.
A charming easy read. I enjoyed reading this engaging short romantic novel. I must say I was frustrated how long Byron has taken to admit his feelings for Tabby and felt like spurring him on. However, the delay heightened the tension effectively and made the ending that much gratifying. This is a best-friends to lovers story with sympathetic, likable characters and often witty dialogue. Well edited work which I can recommend as a quick injection of romance with a HEA. I loved the cover, finally, someone thought of a personal touch rather than another gorgeous 6-pack plastered across the front.
