Good story, easy read
Don’t bother with this one. Read the Amazon reviews for greater detail, but in essence this is a drawn out examination of the mindsets of h & H, with vapid, unlikeable characters throughout; Harold and the damaged children are exceptions. Why do you have your h write out her innermost torment and apologies and then tear the page in two; wouldn’t it have been nice for H to stumble across that as opposed a letter he thinks is from a lover (it’s from her father). A plot development introduces H and Harold to Lord Darlingiver; when Darlingiver extends an invitation to a party, neither recalls this meeting! Many more names are obtuse, such as Foldger and Unker and Garnerdale. The HEA comes in the epilogue, while I was hoping for an epilogue where our horse whisperer h is reunited with the horses and Alexander.
