What an emotional, friends to lovers romance. Heart break, grief, abuse, yet, funny, warm and touching. Harmony and Brendon both have a rocky past but find that chance for love…do they take it, should they have it?? Read this heart breaking, emotionally charged romance to see. I’m glad I did…Loved it!
It took me awhile to try to formulate what I want say about Shouldn’t Have You. The issue is, I really can’t do it justice! This is a beautiful and emotional journey. A great friends to lovers story that definitely gave me all of the feels. I loved it.
I can’t imagine how Carrie Ann Ryan wrote this book. The heartbreak that went into this book blew me away. Harmony lost her husband to a horrible accident and her best friend, Brendon was with him at the time. Ever since Allison’s funeral, the Connolly’s had begun to heal and become close to each other and their friends, who were Allison’s best friends. Harmony started to talk to Brendon more and more and whenever something happened, good or bad, they gravitated toward each other. All of their friends saw it before they acknowledged it themselves. Brendon was going through some repeated nightmares and self doubt related to his childhood. Harmony and the boys all tried to help him through it. This story was wonderful to read – it kept me engaged until the end. The series is full of heartbreak, romance and healing. I love it
