**A standalone within the series – you can start here!** I’m thrilled to be the maid of honor in my friend’s wedding, but the best man, Andrew McCormick, is a chauvinistic pig with a God complex. And I can’t stop kissing him in closets.(Don’t ask.)He’s the brother of the groom and the CEO of my biggest mystery shopping account, but suddenly he’s refusing to be in the wedding. He won’t talk about … suddenly he’s refusing to be in the wedding. He won’t talk about it. Won’t see reason.
He’s such a man.
And he still won’t stop kissing me in random closets.
(Thank goodness.)
I’m a fixer. That’s what I do. I can fix anything if given the chance. But when the game is fixed there’s only so much I can do.
The ball’s in his court now.
Game on.

Shopping for a CEO (Shopping for a Billionaire, Book 7) was a great read by Julia Kent. Amanda is going to be the maid of honor at her best friend’s wedding. But the best man, Andrew is someone she doesn’t really want to see, even though they end up kissing. He is also the CEO of her biggest mystery shopping account. But now he refuses to be a part of the wedding and won’t talk about it. Amanda wants to be able to fix the situation. I’ve loved these hilarious reads and can’t wait to read more of this series.
and the hijinks keep going. A fantastic love story, laughs and quirky events.
One of the funniest books I’ve ever read – loved it!
I have read everyone of these books, and; I don’t think I have ever laughed so hard in my life! I read the first one( Shopping for a Billionaire) LMAO Let me tell you, you’ll be hooked too!
Julia Kent delivers yet another romantic comedy you will find yourself laughing out loud reading. Creative story line leaving you eager to read the next in the series.
Ebook/Audiobook Review: Shopping for a CEO (Shopping for a Billionaire, #7) by Julia Kent (Author), Amy McFadden (Narrator)
Breaking the rules has never been so much fun. Kent and her brand of chaos puts the heart on full alert. If laughter is truly the best medicine, the creative team of Kent and McFadden provide the perfect antidote to relax. Shopping for a CEO makes life’s idiosyncracies fun. Amanda and Andrew are a mismatch made in comedic heaven. Have never laughed so hard and loved so much.
easy read for a lazy day
3.75 Mandy/Andy Stars. This is book seven in the series and a departure from Shannon and Declan. It focuses on Amanda, Shannon’s BFF, and Declan’s brother, Andrew. This one is told solely from Amanda’s POV. While it focuses more on the relationship between Amanda and Andrew, there is plenty of Declan, Shannon, Marie, and the entire gang. Amanda’s story is one that I wasn’t quite expecting.
As preparations wind down, and by that I mean get more absurd, for Declan’s and Shannon’s BIG wedding, Marie does what Marie does best. She goes over the top. If you’ve read the other books I know you’re thinking that’s not possible. She’s beyond over the top. Well, you have no idea how much further she can go. Amanda brings a new perspective to life with the Jacoby family. While I didn’t find this one quite as engaging, it is still rom-com at its finest. There were plenty of laughs and a few new characters. It ends with the wedding of the decade and a few surprises. This series is pure fun!
Love this series! great author!
It was an exceptional pleasure to read. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book immensely.
Love the series.
4 stars
I purchased a copy of the steamy novel Shopping for a CEO: Shopping for a Billionaire book 7: Andrew and Amanda by Julia Kent and this review was given freely.
A complex story with multiple side plots, unfiltered speech, a heavy dose of Murphy’s Law, hints for multiple romances, but ultimately a love finally realized romance. As Shannon and Declan’s wedding approaches, Shannon’s secret shopper former co worker and best friend Amanda and Declan’s wasp allergic brother and new Anterdec CEO Andrew experience sporadic steamy interludes and mixed signals as they deal with PTSD, the fear of loving and losing, and Marie’s Momzilla steamrolling of the entire wedding party.
I’ll read this one again.
I listened to the audio version of this book. I thought the Narration was really good, even down to the sounds of the helicopter.
I really liked Andrew and Amanda. I could not stand Shannon’s mother, Marie. I kept wishing someone would put a stop to her behavior. There were a number of laugh out loud moments in this book, and a lot of ridiculousness. I mean a LOT.
I also liked Declan and Shannon. I felt sorry for what the brothers had to go tgrough, and was irritated by James attitude toward Declan.
This ended with both couples getting their HEA, and me being happy because Marie didn’t get hers.
Quick, light hearted romance. Will read more of Julia Kent in the future.
I actually laughed out loud (not normally my reading reaction)
Surprisingly engaging
Hard to read
A fun series to read!
Cute
This is a great continuation of this series. How can you get around a mom running away with a wedding, a CEO with allergy & guilt issues and Maid of Honor who keeps getting by said CEO, then herons brother \best man.
