I liked this book, the action and tenacity was driving me to finish this quickly. Didn’t like the ending.
I would not recommend this book got to the end and there was no ending what a waste of time. I have always enjoyed his other books but not this one
Painful minutiae. Ridiculous characters. These women are supposed to be PhD’s from Harvard, but have the sense of geese. Ending seems like Cook just got tired of writing.
I read part of it and was very disappointed. The characters lacked dept. pretty predictable.
Not recommended!
Scary stuff about cloning. Was a good read. Really need a 2nd book to follow the doctors who ran into hiding!!!
Typical Robin Cook….up to date with medical techniques that could be used in 7nethical scary ways
While not up to the standards set in Robin Cook’s earlier books, this novel is timely with its focus on high tech interventions in human conception. The characters seemed a bit shallow, but were still engaging, each in their own unique way.
It ended with the main characters still in jeopardy. I felt cheated because there was no real ending
I enjoyed the book but I really don
t like endings like this
I like his books because he uses science as a take off for his novels. I haven’t read a one I didn’t like.
This was great until the end. You were not given closure on the two main characters, so you have no idea what happened to them. I like a story that has an ending for all of the characters.
I have almost every book that Robin has ever written. I love his work and even became a part of the medical world because of him.
I have loved all of Robin Cook’s novels, except this one. It is by far the worst book he has written. The two lead female characters were unbelievably shallow and not particularly likable. The ending was unlikely and ridiculous.
