“Be careful what you wish for or you just might get it…”For three and a half decades, the bear brothers have lived with unanswered questions about their mother, their father and each other. What really did happen to Fallon Rusholme after she left her four boys at that nunnery in Kentucky? The life she had hoped to escape only followed her endlessly as she battled with inner and outer demons, only … inner and outer demons, only to fall into the arms of the only kind man she had ever known, Kevin Davies.
Yet Fallon knew that darkness loomed over her, whether or not she could see it and the idea of reuniting with her lost children was as intangible as ever.
Or was it?

Fallon Rusholme was terrified. She wanted to run, but Daniel Wexley would track her down relentlessly to find what she had done with the children. He was a monster and she knew what he was capable of doing. She would choose to die before she told him where they were.
Readers have been following the lives of the four sons Fallon has protected. Each of their stories began with a frightened mother who takes her 4 sons to an orphanage on a dark, rainy night when the oldest was only 5 years old. She made him promise to take care of his very young brothers and she left them standing in the rain, desperately trying to keep them safe. The reader only knows that they were in severe danger from their father who had done things to them. Each is adopted and the boys are separated from each other, bear shifters who must learn how to cope with their abilities on their own.
This book, Shifters United, is the fascinating conclusion to this story that draws the reader in and keeps the tension and suspense rising in this fast-paced tale. Fallon, the boys’ mother, was homeless. She ends up marrying Beatrice’s brother, Daniel, and they have four sons. Daniel’s plan requires a daughter, but when Fallon finds out what he intends to do to the children, she has to get the boys out of his clutches. The reader follows each boy through their growing up and finding their mates. Then this final book in the series will show how they are reunited with each other. But is the story over with Daniel’s evil plans? Would the boys have anger over what they thought their mother had put them through? Would the truth of everything finally be revealed?
This was a very satisfying conclusion that brings things together for the reader. I really enjoyed all of the books. The reader can respect the sacrifice Fallon made for her children. Get your copy and see if everyone reached their potential and found joy in being together again.
Fallon’s Mate completed the series and brought all the family together since Fallon took them away from their father. It showed the life that she went through and also how the brothers and their spouses were doing together after being reunited.

Fallon has a tough life but she is a strong character even though she doesn’t see herself this way at first. I recommend reading the series in order which I unfortunately did not do & don’t feel I got as much out of the story because of this fact. I am going to definitely go back to the beginning of the series so that I have the entire story before I reach book #5. The strong relationships forged between the couples comes through well in Mia Taylor’s writing style. A well developed story filled with action, back-story, drama, romance and filled out with some mild sexiness. Definitely give Shifters United: Shifters Forsaken Sequel a try after having experienced the rest of the series first of course.

This is the fifth story in the series that I received via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Fallon, the mother who left her four boys behind at a nunnery to protect them from their father. He had injected them with a gene that made them into shifters. In this fifth installment they finally find Ryker and his mate, Allison. Their father has also found them and is trying to use Ryker in another secret experiment. They all gather together to make a united stand against the father who has gone crazy. Fallon also is found by the families and is reunited with her sons. Does the story end here? Their father took a second wife who is now pregnant with a little girl…will we see her story? Discover the reunion of the family who suffered from secrets for years! Fast-paced read and the author has done a wonderful job reuniting everyone!
It was good being I came in on the last book. To really get the full effect I would have to back to the beginning. When I can afford it that is. Good characters and story. I was given a review copy from booksprout and voluntarily review it.
Fallon had to take her boys to an orphanage and then she learned her husband would stop at nothing gonna be the boys because they have a special power or something that will help him. I like the way this book is written because it shows what happens and how Fallon feels about leaving her boys and then it flash forwards to show her boys have grown and some have families but they are looking for their brother and mother but she doesn’t know and she depressed because her husband is still following her and no matter how she feels she can’t find them for fear her husband will too.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Shifters United by Mia Taylor is the final installment of the Shifters Forsaken series. Originally written as a five book set (Fallon’s Mate (a Prequel), Cypher’s Mate, Briar’s Mate, Vaughn’s Mate and Ryker’s Mate) the series kind of left you hanging and wanting more of a resolution at the end of Ryker’s Mate. Mia Taylor was so responsive, she brought closure in the most wonderful way with Shifters United. The style of writing in this book was slightly different than in the others in that the story telling goes from past to present throughout. Finally, we get the full story behind Fallon and her boys. While I enjoyed the original way the series was written, this book made all the difference between a good read and a great read. I highly recommend this series and especially this read. If you haven’t read the series, don’t start here as there are definitely spoilers that you don’t want to read yet. Trust me, this is a fun, feel good read. It may not seem that way when the series starts, but you’ll be happy you read this series.

The final book of the “Shifters Forsaken” series finally unites all brothers and their mother Fallon. It also tells Fallon’s story and explains why everything had to happen the way it did.
It ties all the loose threats of the books before and makes it kind of a MUST read for people who were into the story of the forsaken boys.
As with all of the other books of the series, they are written well and a joy to read.
I am sad to see this story end.but will be looking forward to the next series.

Shifters United is the latest book in the Shifter’s Forsaken series. Five years have passed since Cypher and Chloe have searched for his siblings, with some success. Briar and Vaughan have also joined in the search for their birth mother, Fallon. Beginning with the Prologue, we are given some information about Fallon and more is revealed throughout the book. That, in my opinion, is an indication of a great storyteller. The suspense keeps building.
The thought behind the Shifter Forsaken books had me convinced this resolution book would be coming and Mia Taylor has a winner (and anyone who knows who George Fain is needs an award). I recommend your picking up this entire series.
I enjoy reading shifter romances as the whole paranormal shifter genre has men who when they find the one they love they will do anything to protect them. Love the characters and this is so a perfect read.

The four brothers and their mother are finally reunited but nothing is as smooth as it should be. This story is a fast read that concludes all the story lines. You MUST read the other books first or this will make no sense but if you’ve read the others and are still waiting–this is the answer. The story flips back and forth between what happened then and where the characters are now. We finally find out what happened to Fallon and all the brothers are united when their father returns to the scene. We also catch up on all the brothers and their mates. Nice wrap up. (I voluntarily read an ARC).
conclusion to the series, and it is amazing! all the story lines pull together in a beautiful conclusion that will have you reaching for your tissues and rooting for the entire family as they all find one another and some happiness.

After finishing Shifters Forsaken, the boxset with the individual respective stories of 4 bear-shifter siblings and how they find their mates & re-connect as a family, it was great to read about the mother that felt she had to abandon them as infants in order to guarantee their safety and how she met her love and reconnected with them.
As always, Mia weaved a wonderful story with the characters we came to love wrapping up the loose ends and finally bringing them all together.

Oh thank you, Mia for taking the time to write this story! A mother’s love is as powerful as the love between soul mates. Uniting Fallon with all four boys and their mates, and taking care of Daniel once and for all. And let’s not forget the happy ever after ending. So sweet.

Now that’s the HEA ending this series deserved. The six degrees of separation was fun but it was more satisfying learning that the four brothers finally got to meet, Fallon got to tell her side of the story and Daniel was handled. Stella was a little firecracker who was too smart for her own good. I laughed at all the information Berlin didn’t give to Vivian in order to find Ryker.

This is a great story. I love how the family comes together. I would read many more to see what happens with these characters

The great character and storyline development grabbed my attention from the very first page and I remained totally hooked until the turn of the very last page!

Oh what a tangled web we weave when we practice to deceive..that’s what Daniel Wexley did when did terrible things to his children and if it wasn’t for their mother Fallon the four boy’s would have either been killed or experimented on more. But poor Fallon spent years looking over her shoulder and missing and hoping her boys were safe.
This author did a great job on this series and this the last book. It’s something I’d definitely recommend and say start with the first book to enjoy the whole story.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. If you have read the other books you know that Fallon hide her four boys from their father Daniel wexley after experimenting on them and has been on the the run herself for years. Cypher is married to chloe, vaugh is married to vivian, briar is married to Berlin so you have to read their story. now you get to hear about how they find ryker and rui. Plus about their mom . I have to say this was a awesome series and I loved reading about them all . And I can say this series is 10 star.
