In the audience is Chloe, a recent college graduate. She was taken to the concert by her roommate and her boyfriend, albeit she didn;t want to go. When she starts having a panic attack she heads out the doors. She is accosted by a strange man and when he tries to take her purse he changes into a bear. Then another bear rescues her and she discovers the bear is Cyper. Her life becomes totally different and hard to believe.Beautiful story about two people finding each other.

Callie was adopted by tell me who were apothecaries in the small village. She was trained up to take over when they were to retire. On her 15th birthday, her dad’s left to go to a small village a few hours away. It wasn’t till the next day that she is told her dad’s were dead. Now almost 20, she’s taken on an apprentice. This particular day she’s on the road home after picking up herbs and other items from the first when she is hit by a carriage. The nobleman who steps out is set to kill her for harming his horses. He’s shot dead. Then strange things start to happen to Callie. The least of e which is a tiger, black and white striped, who rescues her and is ready to give his life for her. They flee from people who are after Calli for her magic. Surprise! At least for her it is! From one adventure to another her life will never be the same.

Oh my! A dark tale with lots of suspense that will keep you on edge as you pick your favorite and root for a good outcome.

Emma left everyone and everything behind when she moved from Phoenix. She bought a cell but kept her old one just for a tie to family although she wouldn;t get in touch with them. One night four weeks later she hears a commotion outside and watches as a woman tosses not only a man out but all his stuff. Her first irreverent thought is that she wished she had popcorn to watch the show. The next morning at the local pub, she meets the guy who was the toss out. He introduces himself as Arthur. Surprising himself, he invites her to go fishing with him and his sister. A few days later Arthur, his sister and Emma are at a lake fishing. Emma is still reeling from accepting the invitation and Arthur is still reeling from inviting her. But that;s nothing to the way both their lives are going take a turn for good or bad but whichever life will be interesting from here on out.
Cute story of two people trying to find themselves and feel totally lost.

Finally after decades, Cypher has found his next brother. Briar was adopted to a human couple when he was 5 and even when they found out about his abilities they helped him with not only how to control it but hide it also. Forward another decade an alot of teenage angst which including getting caught hacking, and Briar has a great job he got from that hacking and being caught. He has two good friends and one day they return to his place to see a moving van with a new neighbor, Berlin, and anthropology woman working on her PHd. Briar and Berlin are drawn to each other and after two weeks share a moment. Then an argument ensues which has Briar moving to Washington state. Then weeks later, Berlin discovers she’s pregnant. Unfortunately Berlin needs to find a way to hide herself and her baby from her family.
WOW! Another fantastic story of the, as they are called, The Original Forsaken. This story will have you bouncing between joy and sorrow and just wanting to slap someone just for being an idiot. lol

This box set has books that are in different series. It will get you addicted to the beginning of the series and it will definitely be worth your while to read each series!

In Briar’s Mate [book 1 of Deep River Shifters Series by Lisa Daniels], you meet Serenity, an MIT coding nerd leaving the bustle of city life to finish her masters degree in a small provincial town and it’s on a hike into the mountains [she is a computer nerd who loves the outdoors and is feeling lonely] when she meets the handsome Ryland who seems to be very gruff with her and they just don’t seem to like each other. But remember, hate is sometimes akin to love and this book is about romance so no hating here. Her professor suggest that she join an outdoors trip such as white water rafting and she would meet more people and guess who is on the raft – yes you’ve got it, Ryland. This is my favourite of the books that I re-read in this series as I love bear shifter stories the most but the other stories are terrific too. This box set is absolutely a must have. As always well written stories with a great storylines and plots. It contains amazing stories that has a lot of chemistry and passion in them. If you enjoy romances that offer plenty of sizzling heat, dirty naughtiness and a taboo edge you can not go wrong with this very entertaining and enjoyable collection.

I was so blown away with this box set I fell in love with it and could not put it down till I read all of the stories in th box set. Awesome collection! Hard to go wrong with this one ; )

I received an ARC of this set in exchange for an honest review. The books span Werewolves, Bears, and Dragons (oh my!) From the Pacific Northwest to fantastical realms of darkness. Several of the books dove tail into each other which is lovely! They are all so well written, the characters all so rich I am motivated to find the other books in the series’. I have read a number of books by Lisa Daniels before. Always happy with the stories and characters that she weaves. Mia Taylor is a new author for me. Herr writing is a happy discovery for me! Her characters are smart, engaging, and the books were hard to put down! You won’t be disappointed in this set. you WILL be looking for the rest of the books to finish out the stories!

This is a fantastic collection of paranormal stories! Two wonderful authors with some amazing stories. All stand alone with great characters. I enjoyed the whole collection.

Good collection of fast and easy reads. Each stands alone. Some are better than others but all are entertaining. I did read most of these individually but it’s nice to have them all in one book. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).

This is my first time reading Mia and Lisa and I have to say I’m not disappointed! Once I started reading the first story I had to continue to read all of them. The story lines were well written and didn’t make me feel like the love connection between the characters was forced. I would recommend this collection to the readers that love shifter stories.
