She-Shifters of Hell’s Corner

I loved these books. These are such great stories about women supporting each other, a man’s love and willingness to give up so much for his mate and his chance at a family. If you like shifters, strong women and excitement with unexpected twists, this is the book for you.

Alec
This is Carter Ray and Alec Patterson. Carter is a single mom in Hell’s Corner and how she found her mate. Alec has a fiance that doesn’t know he’s a shifter and on a trip he finds Carter. I loved that from the first moment Alec smelled Carter things started going wonky. Carter, has a daughter, Jellybean, that is smarter than her age. I laughed my tail off when Jellybean asked Alec why he smelled like her momma and promptly ignored Chelsea, the fiance, when she invited Alec for dinner. See the baby girl even knows what’s what. I adored Alec and his dad reconnecting in such a wonderful way.

Wolf Detective
Denny is so cute and kinda funny in her own klutzy way. Raif is kind a neat freak and very brusque. Denny won’t take much of his bossy alphaness. It takes a lot for Raif to figure that out. I loved the harvest festival.

Wolf Soldier
This is Sonny Chaplin and Holt Monroe. Sonnie is a human that owns the flower shop in town and is trying to increase her business. So a speed dating business is just what the women are needing. Charlie is Sonnie’s best friend and has decided she needs to find her brother, Holt, a mate now he’s back from the service. She cons him into supporting her friend’s new business, but doesn’t tell him that it’s a dating service. When Sonnie and Holt see each other, sparks fly. I loved how Holt took his time in the beginning to get Sonnie’s attention. I was a bit disappointed in him when things got messy and he just kinda rolled over and gave up. That’s the last thing I expected a soldier to do. I adored Mama Jean, Charley and Holt’s mother. She is the epitome of a nurturing mother and very vocal with her opinions. I loved the support she gave Sonnie.

Bear Outlaw
This story is when Charlie meets her mate in Axel, a biker. After some heartbreaking news, Charlie finally meets her mate and he is a JERK. Not only is he a jerk, but he is the leader of a group of motorcycle jerks. It’s heartbreaking, but funny. I didn’t like Axel at all when they first rode into town, but after he became smitten with Charlie, he began to grow on me. Things go from bad to worse before they get better. I do love how it turned out

Wolf Purebred
This has been the best so far. (I know I may have said that before, but really.) Muddy Hilton has been the backbone of the She-Shifters. She’s been ok with no mate, but recently her friends have found their mates and she’s lonely. She found her mate years ago in Langdon Millingham and he married someone else. I cannot for the life of me understand how Langdon was so clueless about his arranged marriage. She Muddy was never good enough for Lang’s family. How did he not know his mother and sister would use any chance they had to put Muddy down. I also loved how all of her friends were there to confront Lang about what happened and protect Muddy. He may never have understood what she was feeling otherwise. I was excited about his confrontation with his parents. It was a long time coming, in my opinion.

Bear Lover
Finally, we have Luna Maise and Jason Pratt. Luna is a bunny shifter and so sweet and shy. Jason, on the other hand, is really good friends with Charley’s mate, Axel. So, think polar opposites and you have it. Luna is the newest of the She-Shifters and has been through some bad times with men. Jason, a full blown biker, has been trying so hard to change so he will be worthy of Luna. She is avoiding him at every turn. This story will have you laughing and saying awww throughout.
