Good addition to the Harmony Pointe series. I loved Harley and how cared for Piper, Jolie, Sophie and Jiggs. Enjoyed the banter and tension between Harley and Piper.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC received via NetGalley.
This author is one of my favourite authors of small town romance and She Loves Me is a perfect addition to the Harmony Pointe Series.
This is book 3 in the latest series from Melissa Foster and this is Harley Dutch and Piper Dalton’s story. I was captivated from the first page and there was no putting down until I had read the final word, I needed to know if this couple got the HEA they both deserved.
Dutch has an accident at work and he needs some help and his friend Piper is the obvious choice to help him get around and help his with his nieces who is looking after temporary. Dutch has harboured feelings for Piper for many years but he knew the timing was never right, could this be their time ……
Piper has been badly hurt and it’s going to take a lot for her to open up and trust a man again, will Dutch be able to break down the walls she has built around herself…..
A great story, with adorable characters and plenty of witty banter, I loved the loyalty and the friendships shared by all the characters in this series and this author has once again given us a beautifully well written romance that has left me wanting more from the residents of Harmony Pointe. Great addition to the series.
She Loves Me (Harmony Pointe #3) by Melissa Foster is book Three in the Harmony Pointe Series. This is the story of Harley Dutch and Piper Dalton. I have read the previous books, so that did add to my enjoyment of this one, but I did think it could be a standalone book.
Piper works with her father in the construction business so she isn’t the girly girl or the homemaker type. What she does has is a soft heart that she had to protect which gives her a hard outside shell that other see. Harley has wanted Piper for more than a friend for a while but hasn’t come out of the friend zone yet. When he gets hurt Piper is called to come help him. Harley runs a bar and has been helping with his nieces so he has a lot on his plate that Piper feels she has to help him now that he is hurt. This opens them up for more time together and for their feelings to start getting sorted out. Enjoyed this book and of course loved this author’s writing.
She Loves Me was a pleasant read. From the last book, Piper and Harley seemed to have a hidden attraction. I couldn’t wait to dive more into it with this book. I enjoyed seeing the progression of Harley and Piper’s relationship as the story progressed. I love that Harley knew what or shall I say who he wanted and that was Piper. And seeing how he went at her pace and the interactions between the two were sweet. It was clear how much he cared for her and how deep the feelings ran. Piper was portrayed as a tough as nails woman but there was still something sweet to her. Their friendship was entertaining and endearing. They had a close bond. I also loved seeing the family and friends interactions-it was nice. The story keep me engaged and was quite enjoyable. Overall this was a good read.
Harley is the best man out there. He is the most patient man especially when it comes to Piper, his one true love. This is an emotional, funny and sexy book read. I see a lot of myself in Piper just not the wanting the kids part. She is fearless and doesn’t take crap from anyone. Though she does hide herself and her true feeling. She also thinks bad about herself and that low self esteem has me sad for her. All men and women have issues with themselves but when they find the right person to see that they aren’t going to change them then magic happens. You can read this book as stand alone or part of the series. I have never read a book by Melissa Foster I didn’t like. Every single book makes me laugh, cry and get my fan ready for all the hotness.
*I received a copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily giving my honest opinion*
Gah! I abso-freaking-lutely love Piper and Harley’s story. I can’t even begin to tell you how much. There were some things that I saw would come up, but I wasn’t able to see how until it happened. It was amazing. There were some times that I got a little choked up and teary-eyed because it hit close to home. There were times that I wanted to smack some sense into both of them because of what they were doing or how they were behaving. But in the end, Piper and Harley get their HEA in the way that they deserve.
She Loves Me is hands down the best book of the entire Harmony Pointe series. This book had me laughing and swooning from the very start. Harley and Piper are PERFECTION!
Piper Dalton is strong, sassy, stubborn and I couldn’t love her any more that I already do! Harley is sweet, strong, determined and how can you not love that man?! Plus, Jiggsy! The sweetest dog in the world. Harley is injured and needs someone to help him out, so who better than his friend Piper? Of course, when you’re constantly around someone feelings develop or come to the surface.
I was living for the banter between Harley and Piper. It was perfect and just felt so natural for them. Their friendship was fantastic and they had such a good flow with each other. Of course, there is no denying their INSANELY HOT chemistry. It was jumping off the pages.
Piper’s and Harley’s relationship with his nieces was sweet. I loved how much the cared for them, especially Piper. She wanted to help, of course, she needed some advice from her sisters. I love the sense of family and how much they want to help Piper.
She Loves Me is a MUST READ!
I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads, so here is my review.
I have waited for Piper and Harley’s story and I have to say that I loved it. They are my favorite couple so far.
Piper hasn’t been the girlie girl for a while. She is part-owner of the construction company and is better with a hammer in her hand than with heels on her feet. She also isn’t the marrying type. She likes Harley but would never lead him on to think there could ever be anything between them.
Harley Dutch came back home when his dad got sick to help with the family bar. He has liked Piper for years but she doesn’t fall for his flirty comments.
When Harley gets hurt, Piper is the one to the rescue and the one to take care of him. While she is at his house, she will renovate his bathroom so it will be easier for a man his size to move around easier. As Harley and Piper spend more time together, he knows he is falling for her but Piper keeps hiding her feelings. Oh, she believes in love just not marriage.
Can Harley convince her that they belong together? Will Piper see that Harley is not going to hurt her? Will they be able to make a life for a happily ever after?
I love this series and each book that deals with the Dalton siblings as they find love. But Piper has been the one I have been waiting for and her and Harley’s story was worth waiting for. I was not disappointed and I recommend this series and anything from author Melissa Foster.
**Wicked Reads Review Team**
Piper Dalton is not like her sisters. She is a strong woman working in a typically male role. She is extremely independent and hides her softer side from most everyone. Harley who’s been in love with Piper for years is one of her best friends. Piper is drafted to help Harley with his nieces when he gets injured. The fireworks start from there. the book is well written as all the Melissa Foster books are. Every story makes you feel like a friend of the family. This book made me laugh out loud several times as well as make me cry at the emotions. The book makes you feel everything the characters are feeling. I read this book quickly as I felt connected to the characters. I received an advance copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is such a wonderful and heartwarming friends to lovers story that packs in so much good stuff. Melissa Foster is a go-to read for me because she always brings her best to her writing and this is no exception!! Family, Heart, Humor, Heat, Passion & Soul are the main ingredients that make up Piper and Harley’s amazing journey into forever love from the best friend zone. Turns out Harley didn’t have far to go but Piper sure did. I love them and their story! Harley sure brings the swoon making it impossible for Piper not to fall but the way he is with his nieces is what won me over from the beginning. I love this book and can’t wait for more in this and all the other new and ongoing series this author has!
I was lucky to get an early copy of this one from Netgalley.
Where do I get me a Harley Dutch?!
I have been looking forward to Piper and Harley’s story for a long, long time, and Melissa Foster did not disappoint with these two! These two are fun, witty, sexy, engaging and you can’t help but just fall for them.
When Harley busts up his ankle, he turned to his best friend Piper for help while he is on the mend. Only helping him heal has started to make Piper realize that there is a lot more to Harley than she’s realized, and maybe she doesn’t want to keep him in the friend category anymore…
Piper is a tough as nails gal, who dominates in the very male-dominated field of construction. I love that Piper is her own person and she knows who she is. She is unapologetically herself. That’s not to say that she isn’t human and doesn’t have a couple of hangups here and there, but she knows who she is and what she wants, even if it’s different than every other woman she knows. The best part? Harley, from the start, loves her for who she is! [and if I say any more, I will give away the whole darn book!]
Because this is a Melissa Foster book, the gang’s all here! It’s so wonderful to catch up with the whole Dalton clan, but don’t worry if you haven’t read the others, She Loves Me is 100% standalone…but I promise by the end you will want to read all the others!
Melissa kicked it up a notch with this one, and this could easily be her best book yet. It has everything you could ever want, and then some…including an introduction to new characters who I can only hope get their own stories. This is a must-read for anyone who wants a fun, heart-warming, laugh-out-loud, swoony story!
Piper and Harley have got me crazy in love with romance. Foster continues to take readers, like myself, out of their heads and put them in touch with their heart. This time around the heroine has a story to tell that spotlights the heartache of following your heart, despite what others think. Piper is a uniquely beautiful soul. A hard outer shell with a fragile center, she has a penchant to underestimate her greatest asset. Her sensitive heart. The bad boy of her dreams could be just what she needs to open her eyes. From sugary sweet to heartbreakingly real, She Loves Me is an exercise in honest, heartwarming, captivating storytelling.
*5 Stars*
ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.
I was very keen to read this one, as I love this series, and I definitely had been intrigued by Piper and Harley in the previous books.
I really liked getting to know both of these characters, and Harley was just such a sweetie. Jiggsy was a fabulous bonus as well, and just as much a part of the story. Piper has quite a few hang ups and views on things that she needs to work through, and Harley sure understands and is patient with her about it all.
These two discovering another level to their friendship/relationship was a wonderful growing experience and lots of fun to read. Also some wonderful secondary characters in terms of favourites from the previous books and some more integral secondary characters in this storyline like Jolie and Sophie.
A great book that made me feel all the things, and can’t wait for the next one!
Piper is a kick a@@ construction owner/worker. She is not into commitments. Harley is a bar owner. Piper and Harley have been friends for many years. After an accident, Harley needs daily help with his nieces. Being a very kind hearted and giving person Piper jumped right in. Harley already being attracted to Piper, he just needs to get her to take a chance on him.
I absolutely love this book. Melissa never disappoints. She Loves Me is book 3 in the Harmony Pointe series. You do not have to read the previous books. However, i highly recommend you do. This book has a HEA with no cliffhanger.
What an amazing book this is. Piper and Harley’s story is so lovely, romantic, funny and nerve wracking. This two characters have so much love and things to deal with. This book is like a rollercoaster of emotions. It’s full of surprises and full of love. I enjoy every minute of this book. I receive an advanced reader copy in exchange of my honest review.
I absolutely LOVED this book!! Melissa will have you laughing out loud, angry, in tears, heart racing and so full of love but not wanting it to end by the time you get thru it. Perfect book to take you away from anything and everything you need to get away from
Let me just say, every girl needs a Harley in their life! He was so dang earnest, patient and an all around good guy. I loved every little thing about him, but nothing more than the way he treated and accepted Piper for who she was.
As a construction worker, Piper doesn’t do frilly. She especially doesn’t do marriage and babies. Although there is a part of her that desires it, she recognizes that something inside of herself is broken and she’ll never be able to be the type of woman to find it. What she didn’t expect was to learn that her best friend Harley has been waiting for years for her to open her eyes and see him as more than a friend.
Harley recognized that fortress Piper had built around herself and he was determined to take baby steps until he could pull them all down. With his quick wit and charming humor, it didn’t take him any time to find a place in my heart. Add in the big burly bear of a man that loves to cuddle, and yeah, I was a goner.
This is a longer read but has a very nice pace to it. The drama is internal for Piper and familial for Harley. Harley definitely has to do the greatest giving but when it came time for Piper to make a choice, despite the struggle, she was able to face things like an adult, with a lot of bakery items thrown in.
I loved this story and everything about Harley and Piper as a couple. This was fun and witty, a touch angsty, and a lot romantic.
Delicious, slow-burn romance!
Harley has been quietly carrying his torch for Piper for a few years now, but ever since his younger brother broke her heart (many years ago in high school) she’s been determined never to fall in love or even consider a relationship beyond a one-night-stand. When the stars finally align and Piper is the only one who can help Harley take care of his nieces while he’s recovering from an ankle injury, Harley makes the most of his time with her, showing her just how perfect they can be together.
This was a delightful trip back to Harmony Pointe, and I really enjoyed Harley’s devotion to Piper. I loved how careful he was with her, so in tune with what she’s comfortable with and when to proceed or slow down. Piper was a tough nut to crack with castle-like walls around her heart, but Harley had her number and I doubt any woman could’ve resisted him forever.
The story moved a little slower than necessary, picking up only towards the end with the return of the prodigal son. Even so, it was a swoony, heartwarming romance with a terrific, somewhat surprising HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
This is book # 3 in the Harmony Pointe series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. To avoid spoilers, and to fully understand the series, I recommend reading this series in order.
Piper is very set in her ways. She realizes she wants a family, like her siblings, but is not sure how to get that into her lifestyle of working on a construction crew. She is well respected in her field, and has no prospects right now.
Harley takes exception to Piper not acknowledging him in her life. True they are friends. The best of friends, really. He has loved her for years and now wants her to see how much she loves him too.
Such a sweet and slow burn. I found this to be a really good read. The story has amazing heat and sexy times, but still is very touching and sincere in its friendship values. I loved the banter of all the friends. This series is great and this was such a good installment!

5 Star review of She Loves Me (Harmony Pointe #3) by Melissa Foster
Book three in the latest series from Ms.Foster and this is Piper Dalton and Harley Dutch’s story. I enjoy Ms. Foster’s style of writing, her characters are easy to relate to, strong and well written.
Piper has been hurt before and is convinced she will never finds happiness; constantly fighting to be seen in the male dominated construction business.
When her best friend Dutch needs helps she steps up not knowing that he has had feelings for her for years. As the walls they have built fall, love will blossom. The chemistry between Piper and Dutch sizzles.
I really enjoyed the banter and friendship between them, but when Dutch makes a massive mistake, will this be the end of what could be their chance at happiness?
