She Loves Me was exactly the romantic read I needed right now! Melissa never disappoints!
Harley and Piper are just friends. Harley gets injured and Piper steps in to help him. This is the third book of the series Harmony Pointe. Grab this book and enjoy one of the best writers out there, she just has a way of drawing you into the book. By the time you get to the last page you’ve spent hours inside a world that you don’t want to leave and miss the characters as if they were real.
A splendid sequel to “This is Love”. Piper Dalton loves her work with Dalton Contracting doing construction and remodels. She is NOT a “girly girl” and enjoys sports and beer. Harley Dutch, after time working on Wall Street, has returned home to take over the family business, Dutch’s Pub. He has always had Piper’s back and has given her time to “see” him, but now the time is up. Piper never wants to marry, but things are changing between her and Harley. Every man she has dated has wanted her to “change”, will Harley accept her as she is? The back and forth dialog between them, adds so much laugh out loud humor to the story as Piper and Harley come to terms with their feelings. A well-rounded family story that brings us updates on past characters. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)
Love it! love it! love! It! Piper Dalton did not know what it her. She tried to fight it but she met her match in Harley Dutch. They are a perfect match and know exactly how to push each other’s buttons.

She Loves Me was the third and possibly the final book in the Harmony Pointe series by Melissa Foster. It was one of many in her Love In Bloom series.
We finally had the much anticipated and long awaited story for Harley Dutch and Piper Dalton. They were best friends since forever and everyone knew Harley had been in love with Piper for years, but they had never been together. Piper just thought Harley liked to harass her dates to annoy her.
Harley was injured and Piper came to the rescue to get him back to health and on his own. Harley decided it was time to up his game and Foster took us through the fun and revelation. I liked both characters but I also got tired of Piper’s constant pushing away. From that aspect, I couldn’t connect with her, never fully understood her issues and as a result, the story crawled for me at times. However, with that said, I really enjoyed the end and it finished strong. No spoilers, but I’m totally hoping to see two cross over books with the Dark Knights!
If you don’t fall completely in love with Harley Dutch, then I don’t think we can be friends. He is the perfect mix of burly, compassionate, swoony, and dirty.
One of the reasons I enjoyed this book was because unlike most romance novels, where the guys are relationship shy, in this one it’s Piper, the heroine. She would prefer fewer attachments. She would prefer to keep Harley in the friend zone. Seeing a woman battle society’s relationship expectations and balancing it with the type of relationship she wants in her life is refreshing.
Jiggs, oh fun blocking Jiggs, the lovable pit bull who always knew the best times to interrupt, the best times to be a wingman, and the times when you just need some love.
As with all of Foster’s books, families play a big role and we get more time with Dalton crew in this one. The Dalton Sisters’ chats are some of the most honest and hilarious.
And, Harley’s relationship with his sister and nieces …. THE BEST!
You can read this book as a standalone but you would get a deeper understanding of the references to her family’s relationships if you read the Sugar Lake and the earlier books in the Harmony Pointe series first.
My first book by Melissa Foster was Call Her Mine which set me on the Harmony Pointe addition. I soon fell in love with the characters and plotlines and who I could read about next. I was so excited for Piper and Harley’s story. He has loved her forever but she has sworn off relationships. He has been patiently biding his time waiting for the right time. She thinks he has just been c**blocking her for years.
Piper is such a spitfire, tough, sassy, independent, loyal, a guys girl who loves sports, beer and foul language yet she is so caring, generous, and kind-hearted too. All her siblings have their happily ever afters but she has sworn off marriage after being burned by her high school sweetheart. She and her father own a construction company and that’s where she finds her peace.
Harley oh Harley what’s not to love about him. He is also a giver, when his father got sick and his family needed him the most he left his high profile job on wall street to come home to take over the family pub. When his sister got sick he took care of her two tween girls while she recovered. He is everyone’s savior and hero even when they don’t realize. Unfortunately he hurts himself and requires help and non-other than Piper is there to help him and his two nieces even when she feels like she wasn’t given the caring gene when born. She feels out if her element but loves her friendship with Harley and feels like she needs to help him since he always helps everyone. She soon realized there is more to all his kidding and flirting than she first thought. I loved how patient Harley was as he expressed how long he waited for her to be his and he would always be there for her. The push and pull between them the slow realization of her feelings was stunning to witness. The twist in the storyline was gutwrenching and had me ugly crying only to be happy crying by the epilogue. Such an incredible journey and with my favorite secondary characters from past books was icing on the cake. Perfection! Yes this is a standalone and can be read as one but I’m so happy to know the other characters that enriched so much of this epic story.
Five beautiful emotional well deserved
She Loves Me is the third book in the Harmony Pointe series. I’ve not read a lot of books by this author but the ones I have read have always touched my heart. The author does such a great job creating realist and loveable characters and feelings of a small-town atmosphere in her books. I’ve not read any other books in this series but my interest has been caught by the characters from previous books so I can’t wait to read them.
Piper Dalton was a strong independent female who survived heartbreak by her first love by never having serious relationships. She had developed a hard exterior to protect her heart, but underneath she was a caring person. When Harley her best friend needed her help, she jumps in to help him with his injury and nieces.
Harley Dutch had loved Piper for years but was patient enough to wait for Piper to see him as more than a friend. After hurting his ankle, he decides it’s the perfect time to reveal his feelings. He knows that Piper has built walls around her heart and he just has to be patient and get her to trust in him.
I love the witty banter between Harley and Piper. They were so perfect for each other. Harley was so sensitive and venerable putting himself out there knowing Piper could break his heart. Seeing Piper come to understand that having a soft side didn’t change her and that it only added to herself was great. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more books by this author.
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I really love when a book’s title is just so perfect. While I was reading this story I just kept thinking about how Melissa Foster nailed it with the title, it’s so Harley and Piper. The cover, on the other hand, is not so Harley to me. Great looking guy, great cover…not Harley.
Piper has been someone who has equal parts endeared herself to me and annoyed me through the Sugar Lakes series, where the majority of her siblings got their HEAs, and this series, where the rest of her siblings and close friends got their HEAs. Of course, through them all the reader sees and feels that connection she has with Harley. It was great to finally get to the inner workings of Pipers brain and see what made her so tough on the outside.
I swear, Harley has got to be one of the most patient men in the world. Especially when it comes to Piper. (Not so much when it comes to his brother, which I’m sure will be a whole other story someday.) His nieces love him to pieces, with good reason. And he is adored by his mom and sister, and just about everyone else in town. While Piper knows Harley is an amazing guy (he is her best friend, after all), she’s somehow blind to how much he means to her. She’s so used to having walls up with EVERY man, that she doesn’t even notice that she keeps those walls firmly in place even with her best friend. Once it finally registers and she sees what she’s been doing, she doesn’t stand a chance against his flirtatious and fun charms.
As much as I enjoyed this story, I enjoyed the peek at the Dark Knights. I’m really hoping that means what I think it means and we’ll be getting a lot more of those yummy men and their headstrong women, even once the Whiskey’s all get their HEA.

What an amazing book!!!!
I love the raw emotion the author puts in her stories. There are always difficult situations included but that just makes the characters and story more relatable.
Piper and Harley are so inspirational. And you can’t help but love Jiggs!!
Piper and Harley finally get their book. Piper is not a girly girl and the fact that Harley took her to hockey game for their first date endeared them to me. He knew his girl so well. Considering a Yankee game is one of my perfect date nights I did identify. Harley is such a good guy you almost don’t think piper is good enough for him because she is a pain in the ass and has a ton of hang ups. Thank goodness her dad talked some sense into her. The story line was fairly predictable but I love the Dalton siblings and their spouses and the authors ease with dialogue so 4 stars. I’d like to see Delaneys story please.
Really loved this one!! The main characters, Piper and Harley, are so fun and perfect together. The story has a nice easy pace and definitely left me smiling. I highly recommend this book even if you haven’t read the other books in the series. This is easily read standalone. Don’t miss it!
Melissa is one of my favorite authors and with every book, they are so good. I loved Piper and Harley. Their chemistry was great and could cut the tension between them with a knife. Great characters and so enjoyable. Very fun book to read.
Thank you Netgalley, the author and publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This book had moments of being sweet, funny, romantic, and even sad. I read and listened to the audio book through KU. I enjoyed the narration. It was well done hand helped to keep me fully engaged at the book.
I liked Harley. I liked practically everyone else in the book, even Marshall. Piper, not so much. It took me a while to “kind of like” Piper. I realized there were moments when I liked something she had done for someone, but I didn’t like her character at all.
Then there was the scene in Harley’s bar. Hysterical much? YES! Prone to bring completely irrational and overreacting? YES, her name was Piper. She spent all her time in the book talking about not letting a man change her. She had to be accepted for the woman she had become. It’s an admirable and I agreed with I to a point.
I felt like with Piper being so inflexible about not changing anything about herself, forced Harley to make changes to accommodate her. It was difficult for him to express his true feelings because he did not want to push her away.
Harley and Piper reached their HEA. We got an epilogue. I felt like the epilogue was both humorous and irritating.
Best of the series
This is such a good book!
I truly enjoyed reading it!
It’s a feel-good, sexy, funny & moving story. Everything you want in a true romance.
Harley Piper, will steal your heart.
The loved every word on every page.
Must Read Story!!
She Loves Me by Melissa Foster
Harmony Pointe #3
Melissa Foster has the ability to create wonderful characters in believable stories that sweep me in and make me believe I am there with all of the characters. In this book I would have loved to have been Piper…or at least to have been the one to have Harley’s attention and love! This is a friends to lovers story that left me happy at the end of the story but also left me wondering which of the characters I had invested in would have their story told next. I would love to hear about Delaney and Marshall and probably a few others, too.
What I liked:
* Piper: a tough take no prisoners woman working in construction. She also cares about family and friends and has a heart of gold
* Harley: my, oh my, oh MY! He is a hunk of burning love and just what Piper needs. He is there for family and friends and has a bit of a hero complex. Truly liked this man!
* The family member and the parts they played…nice to see them and how they are doing.
* Jiggs: a dog that was perfect for Harvey
* Delaney and her daughters
* The father-daughter dance scene with Uncle Harley and Jolie – made me smile
* Marshall: At first he seemed a bit of a creep but he became more and worthy of a book of his own by the end of the book.
* The Dark Knights: life savers in more ways than one…need to see if there is a series about them
* The magic potions Piper’s mother makes
* The mention of difficult subjects and how they were addressed – there were more than one or two in this book
* All of it really except…
What I did not like:
* Having to say goodbye to everyone when I read the last page.
Thank you to NetGalley and Montlake Romance for the ARC – This is my honest review.
5 Stars
OMG OMG OMG this is such an amazing story it warms my heart every time when I think about it and it on my top shit list. The characters, the story, the family drama, the chemistry all combined together in such an amazing story and I loved it. Highly recommended.!
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley
Another great read! Don’t miss this one!
YES! This one was so good! Piper is not a girly girl…she is a take charge woman who runs her own contracting crew but Harley takes her by surprise. He has always been the one to chase off her dates but when he is hurt and in the ER and needs a ride home and help, she is the one to get the call. Him on pain meds equals no filters and all barriers come down. Soon they are crossing those barriers and tipping into friends with benefits. Is it the potions her mom provides or something else brewing? This whole series is great and this one is just a great addition. It could be read as a standalone but why would you want to.
