Shawn: I’m good with my hands and I’m a quick study. At least that’s what the women say. No trouble in that department, if you know what I mean. Still, it’s best to keep them at arm’s length. I’ve seen how women go after my brothers for money and the family name. I guess you can say I have always been guarded. But then I met Talia, a woman unlike any other.
Talia: I grew up never knowing who my … never knowing who my father was. He disappeared after a one-night fling with my mother. I wasn’t intentionally looking for him, I just wanted to know my family history. Imagine my surprise when I learned my father was a billionaire. It brought me to Boston where I met Shawn and felt a connection like no other…until I learned he was a Hartwell brother. That’s when I began to question his motives. Did he seduce me to get to my dad’s money? If I can’t trust Shawn, I can’t be with him. Finding my father hasn’t solved my problems, it has only created more.
Will Shawn and Talia be able to get out of their own way and make their relationship work, or will they crash and burn? Find out in SHAWN, the last book in M.S. Parker’s steamy hot, billionaire romance series, The Hartwell Brothers.

Sometimes people just fit
This was a wonderful story about Talia and Shawn. It was such an emotional ride, not only for these two, but the entire cast of characters. Both families have been through so much, but they are always there to support each other. It’s really quite beautiful – though the start and end of the book had me in tears!
Talia has recently re-connected with her birth father, after not having him in her life growing up. She grew up reliant on her loving and caring mother, but had to work hard at everything to make ends meet and manage their lives. Her father is very rich, and is more than happy to share his wealth, because he’s grown to love her so quickly.
Shawn is the youngest brother in his family, and he feels like a bit of an outsider. They’re somewhat dismissive of him, and don’t include him in a lot of the family or business-related discussions or decisions. Their paternal grandmother suffers stroke and the entire family must band together to support each other during this tough time.
Shawn serendipitously meets Talia at an old house he has recently renovated. There is an instant attraction there, and they both capture the other’s attentions very quickly. Their thoughts are full of each other, and wonder where this could go. Their courtship is full of ups and downs – not all in bed 😉
As she takes over some responsibility with her father’s charitable work, she (unknowingly) meets with Shawn’s older brother Matt about their foundation. Here’s where a huge misunderstanding occurs that drives Talia and Shawn apart. The complications arisen from this were totally unnecessary, but a great part of their story.
Both are a bit too stubborn initially, to try to see if things work out. So Talia goes back to her mother to remove herself from the situation and get some clarity. Her mother convinces her to look at things from a different perspective, and decides to head back after a while – and with her mother tagging along…
Another reconciliation occurs too, which is just lovely, and so very well-deserved. They obviously just never got over each other. A lot can be said her first loves. The naked emotion was so overwhelming at times!
The connections and relationships within and amongst these two families are so incredibly powerful and life-affirming. I could just keep on reading about them more and more and more!
I gave this book four and a half stars because I felt it ended too abruptly, like it wasn’t finished. I would really LOVE to read more about where these characters all end up, and if they all do get their happily ever afters.

By far, the best conclusion of a romantic series!
Wow what an ending to the Hartwell Brothers series! Talia wanders into a house and meets Shawn whose company restored the house. They hit it off and Shawn asks for her number to ask her out to dinner. They each don’t know who the other really is, until Talia discovers Shawn’s association with the charity she was asked by her father to invest in. Will misconceptions keep Talia and Shawn apart or will true love shine through despite their difficulties? Each of the books had a prologue to the brothers’ grandparents’ past that you get the finale in this book. Such a fantastic read, I wish there was another story of life after the Hartwell Brothers’ marriages.
Action packed, sexy, fun, engaging and emotional adventure filled with danger, suspense and undeniable passion… an edge of your seat read from beginning to end and so hard to put down. Really enjoyed the charters I got to know on this journey.

Great end to the series. Shawn has worked hard all his life and he doesn’t want to have a relationship and a woman trying to get him for his money. Claire has been wanting to know her father and finds out he’s a billionaire. But when they mean sparks fly and Shawn might just change his mind except Claire thinks Shawn might be out for her because her fathers rich. Great characters and a story well written.

Finally we get Shawn’s story, the baby of the family. He is a hard working sweetie, and Talia is the perfect match for him. I loved these two together, after they both got over their trust issues that is.
This is the last story about the boys of the Hartwell clan and it is a really good one. It has a good storyline and really fabulous characters. This one really ties the knots that have been in development through the previous stories. But the way this author manages the art of storytelling is just quite smashing and I think that all those who like romances will like not only this story but the previous ones as well. Of course they are not all equally good but all of them are good non the less and this one here is really good. So fabulous four stars for this one.

Tender and hot at the same time
4.5
I hesitated about the rate because it is a good romance, very well written, hot but with few twists and turns. However, I enjoyed the whole series and I appreciated that certain intrigues started in the previous parts are concluded, as for example, the problem of the money of the foundation which was the basis of the first book of the series.
The couple of Tally and Shawn are endearing because of their difficulties in trusting others because they are afraid of being used or of being underestimated in their skills, especially when both find out who they are.
For both of them, their bond is a major change in the way they live a relationship, and ultimately, they need to face all doubts to move forward.

I have loved this series. They are such great sexy romances with intriguing back stories and enough angst to keep them real. Wonderful end to the series.
Highly recommended.

This is the final book in the series and brings Shawn and Talia’s story. The author once again brings strong characters with a strong connection and chemistry and weaves another entertaining story. She answers questions from past books and brings a sweet conclusion to the series. It’s well written and flows fluidly.I enjoyed and would recommend reading.
I have read and loved all the books in Hartwell Brothers series. I would recommend reading the stories in order so you kind a know a little bit about each character. Every book has been amazing guaranteed to keep you interested the entire time. Shawn’s story is so beautiful.

This is Book 4 of The Hartwell Brothers
This is the story of Shawn & Talia. Shawn owns a construction company with his partner, Conall McDowd. Talia has always helped her mother in her housekeeping business. She recently found out about her father through a DNA test. She stays with him on and off to get to know him. She meets Shawn at an old house he has just finished renovating. The things that happen between her and Shawn, combined with all the answers of the opening questions throughout this series, are finally brought to light. I love Shawn and Talia. They go through ups and down as a couple, but it all works out well. It has a great story line. It is an extremely well written story and series. There are a few generations of characters in the full story. I’m sure whoever reads this will thoroughly enjoy it.
A heartwarming ending to this Hartwell brothers series
Shawn and Talia are the final couple in this seriesI loved how they met and how each had their own insecurities that they had to overcome in order for the relationship to work I also loved how Shawn and Talia hit it off immediately and also finding out more about the secrets hinted at in each of the previous books
This story was so well written and flowed flawlessly. Each story and couple in the series has built upon the foundation to get to this outcome and I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome or story. It truly is a work of art

This a story of genealogy test that brings two families new members and also brings Shawn Hartwell who owns heritage renovation and restoration company to meet Talia Nicholson marrlowe. This was a beautiful awesome story
I waited for the final book and let me say I was not disappointed. Shawn never took women seriously until he met Talia. Will these two manage to navigate each hurdle they put in their way to get their HEA? Both the characters and the storyline are engaging.

Shawn sometimes feels like his brothers, didn’t realise that he has grown up, because they still treat him like he is the young kid and leave him out of decisions (that he feels he should have been included in). His latest project is doing up a historical house in Beacon Hill, and it attracts the attention of Talia, and they both feel the sizzle between them. Shawn is not one for commitment, but that might all change when Talia walks into his life, she might be what he has been missing in his life. Their romance isn’t always smooth going, for they both have a bit of trust/their own baggage issues. I loved both Talia, who was strong, knew what she wanted and was prepared to work for it, and Shawn who is a determine, caring man, who isn’t perfect.

This is the book 4 and the last book in the Hartwell Brothers series. This book is devoted to Shawn’s story. He’s the youngest and I liked him the most. Talia comes to town looking for her father only to find out he’s a billionaire. When Shawn and Talia meet, their attraction is hot and their chemistry is intense. When Talia learns who Shawn is and that he’s a Hartwell, she thinks he has monetary interests. A good read and probably my fav out of the series.

The storyline was one that had me intrigued and engrossed in. It solves a bit of mystery that was leading up from the other three books. It was elegantly written with stunning characters. Their personalities were of one that I throughly enjoyed. While I feel the story could be read as a standalone it is so much more engaging to read the other three first. It will give insight to the characters that you see in this story. This story and series is one is a must read and will not leave you disappointed.

I’ve read all the other books in the Hartwell series, so I knew all of the characters and backstories even though it is not necessary to enjoy the book.
Shawn was the youngest brother and a man that worked with his hands every day even though he really didn’t need to. He took pride in working hard and he did everything with the same level of enthusiasm.
He met Talia in one of the old homes he has renovated and suddenly his policy of not looking for a relationship – just fun – seemed ready to be changed. Talia was sweet, innocent and behind closed doors just the kind of passionate partner to meet Shawn’s hot moves.
I have to say the book started out a little too slow for me. I wasn’t feeling the mood or the story, but I am glad I continued until I finished because there were several intriguing story lines resolved with the Hartwell family and Shawn and Talia have their very well deserved HEA. Read the series and this book.

This is a great conclusion for the Hartwell family. A book that ties up every loose end with a nice ending, plus has a playboy turned into the most sweetest and romantic guy. Talia definitely is in some very capable hands. But is not just the way Shawn treats Talia, it’s also how he treats his grandma, and his closest friends. It’s how he proves to everyone the responsible man that he is. And Talia is a great match for him. She is patient, smart and a hard worker just like him. There are no hot moments lacking between them and no lack of communication. Through it, they work over their hangups and build a strong durable relationship like no other they’ve ever had. At the end of this book I was left feeling completed and happy with all the outcomes. Even when the characters had to go through many worries to get there.
