Shawn: I’m good with my hands and I’m a quick study. At least that’s what the women say. No trouble in that department, if you know what I mean. Still, it’s best to keep them at arm’s length. I’ve seen how women go after my brothers for money and the family name. I guess you can say I have always been guarded. But then I met Talia, a woman unlike any other.
Talia: I grew up never knowing who my … never knowing who my father was. He disappeared after a one-night fling with my mother. I wasn’t intentionally looking for him, I just wanted to know my family history. Imagine my surprise when I learned my father was a billionaire. It brought me to Boston where I met Shawn and felt a connection like no other…until I learned he was a Hartwell brother. That’s when I began to question his motives. Did he seduce me to get to my dad’s money? If I can’t trust Shawn, I can’t be with him. Finding my father hasn’t solved my problems, it has only created more.
Will Shawn and Talia be able to get out of their own way and make their relationship work, or will they crash and burn? Find out in SHAWN, the last book in M.S. Parker’s steamy hot, billionaire romance series, The Hartwell Brothers.

I really enjoyed reading about Shawn and Talia. Their story was interesting and entertaining. Lots of secrets and drama, which I absolutely loved.
I love the Hartwell Brothers series. Each book just better and better. Shawn is the youngest brother and this is his story. Talia has never known her father, he left after a one night stand and was never in the picture. She searched for him and found out he was a billionaire. When she meets Shawn there is intense chemistry between the two. Then she discovers he’s a Hartwell and assumes he is out for her dads money. A well written storyline and wonderful characters. Recommend this series.

Enough family secrets to last a life time
SHAWN is the fourth book in The Hartwell Brothers series and is about Shawn and Talia. Shawn is the youngest of the Hartwell brothers and has gone his own way with his life. He went to work for Conall McDowd in his construction company and he liked the physicality of the work. Connall became his mentor and then offered Shawn the opportunity to buy into the company and become partners. Connall handled the business side of the company and Shawn handled the work and running the projects side of the company. Talia was raised by her single mother Florence. She has never known who her father is and that has been okay until she finally decides to takes a DNA test and it leads her to Willard Marlowe, her father. Willard is a billionaire, where as Florence struggled financially while raising Talia. But when Talia contacts him and they meet he is happy to have a daughter and tells the story of how he and Florence lost communication and then each other. Willard has MS and has to live with hired help to assist him. But he gives Talia an inheritance which she was not expecting and also wants her to work with him doing charity work. Shawn and Talia cross paths and meet when she is visiting a care home that Shawn’s company renovated. They are immediately attracted to each other and from there things get interesting. Shawn has never been into having a relationship, only wanting to have some fun. But with Talia he has other thoughts that are of the permanent relationship thinking. But there are other things are play which could come between Shawn and Talia. They will have to over come these in order to get their HEA.
This book is well written and has an entertaining story. I liked the characters of Shawn and Talia which are both nicely developed and interesting, along with the supporting characters. I enjoyed reading the book and getting to know another of the Hartwell brothers.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
This beautiful series has come to a great end with this book. As in previous parts, it starts with an intro from the 50s where the grandfather and grandmother play the leading role.
In this part, Shawn finds the love of his life. The build of this story is great and I think in the end I liked this part the best. Shawn’s character is great. Although it is said that he has ADHD, in my view he comes across as a calm, thoughtful man who is sometimes impulsive.
The end of this section is also the end of the aforementioned intros that each book has. Fortunately, the story of Alice and Matt also has a good ending. Thank you M.S. Parker for sharing your imagination with this great series!

Shawn by M.S. Parker is the final book in The Hartwell Brothers series and focuses on the story of Shawn, the youngest Hartwell brother who co-owns a Boston construction company, and Talia, who was searching for her absent billionaire father when she meets Shawn. This well written book is the perfect conclusion to this series as all the questions in the series are answered. I recommend reading this amazing novel with it’s great characters and a plot with misunderstandings, storyline twists, and a romantic journey to love.

What an amazing series!
This story is about Shawn and Talia’s journey. He has a love for old houses and renovates them. His brothers handle the Hartwell business end of things. They never include him in anything, he assumes since he’s the youngest. He was working on a house one day and in walks this beautiful woman who apparently, also loves old homes. Their chemistry is instant.
Talia grew with it just being her and her mom. Her mom worked hard and has she got older, Talia would help. She always wondered about her father, and decided to search him out and she’s so glad she did! He’s such a sweet, kind, loving man and bonus, he’s a billionaire! Her parents had one night together, but Talia thinks there could have been more.
I enjoyed Talia and Shawn!
Shawn is a hardworker who plays hard as well. He doesn’t want to settle down like his brothers have done. In walks Talia, who is new to the area. They have instant chemistry and both work hard to overcome all the secrets in their lives. It is the perfect way to finish the series. I have enjoyed each book and fell in love with characters in all of them.

While walking one day she comes upon a beautiful old home and goes to look inside. There she meets Shawn, the gentleman responsible for the refurbish. Shawn is there youngest Hartwell brother and he works in refurbishing old homes. The two had an instant connection. But they are not in a smooth road, since she has a hard time trusting men. SHAWN by M. S. Parker is book 4 in Hartwell Brothers Series. This is the story of Talia and Shawn. I have not yet read the previous books, so for me this was a standalone book.
Talia was raised by a single mother never knowing her father until she decided to try the DNA testing. Which lead her to Willard Marlowe, her father. Talia is now working to get to know him and learning that he is very well off. One day Talia happens to enter into a home that had been recently remodeled and she meets Shawn. Shawn although comes from a rich family has took the route to work with his hands. This leads him and his friend Conall to have a renovation construction company. Shawn goes to have one last look at a house that they recently restored but when a beautiful women walks in, he starts thinking maybe he is like his brothers in the love department.
Enjoyed their story and hope to read more from this author.
A great ending to an enjoyable series. Shawn always seems to be a completed character but he is not he is simple yet hides himself to those he love. I loved getting to know his character in this newest release that does not disappoint. His chemistry with Tally was sweet, instant and hot. Some drama, a lot of sweetness and emotions that made for an entertaining storyline. I’m glad to have read this wonderful series from start to finish.
Another Hartwell brother to fall in love with. These guys really know how to get their woman and keep her. No matter the circumstances love always prevails. Absolutely loved this book and cannot wait until the next!

Shawn is by far my favorite Hartwell. I loved this book so much. It was hard to put down. The emotional rollercoaster of Shawn and Talia’s lives will take you through their ups and downs. Their chemistry is HOT and give us some steamy scenes. The writing is so good, it really paints a picture in your head. The storyline flows flows seamlessly. Told in both Shawn and Talia’s POV.
This is an amazing ending to this series. It is sweet, intriguing and fun read. The plot is well-thought out and the characters are portayed in a way that makes them feel real with their feelings and insecurities.

Why?
Are we always introduced to the lead having sex with a random girl in explicit detail even though he’s not really into her?
Sigh.
The back story is interesting as is Talia.
Shawn, not so much.
When you find that one person out of billions, who really gets you . . .Talia spent her life just her and her Mom, Florence, happy. They struggled, but they were content with their lives. Talia sends in a DNA sample and finds her long lost Dad, Willard Marlowe. There was a misunderstanding and communication issues that resulted in Willard and Talia’s Mom, Florence not connecting. Sadly, he suffers from MS, but is fighting to stay strong. Shawn is the youngest of the Hartwell brothers. He has his own renovation construction company, partnered with his long time mentor, Connal. He had just left the hospital where his Granny, Alice was recovering from a stroke, when he met Talia. They instantly felt the physical draw and they felt surprisingly comfortable with each other. They both had baggage which tripped them up as they got to know each other. But they kept turning toward each other. Great story. Excellent ending to the series which answers many questions. Will Talia relax and give Shawn a chance? Is Shawn ready to settle down? Willard and Florence, will they reconnect? Nicely done. But, there’s still unmarried family left. I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Nice cover art!
