I enjoyed reading it and following the character development!
I just could not find a hook to hang this story on.
Couldn’t put it down
What an amazing story! All the background info on the 3 friends gave insight to their development thru the years and added much depth to this story. As in real life the evil inside a person generally evolves slowly and can be hard to spot even by those close to that person. This story is so well written that if I didn’t know from the start that this was a fictional story I would have believed every word to be true. The ending was short, that’s true, but it lost none of its shock value for me.
This is one of the very books that I could not finish.
I expected more or maybe less. I understood that we had to know the back story but I felt like I was becoming a priest The story was good. Didn’t quite see the ending. Just the middle was wordy.
This book was a little tedious to read.
Not recommended. Poor character development, plot gratuitous and aimless.
Reads like a journal. All background. Substance doesn’t start until 60%.
I really liked this book. Surprise ending left me feeling sad that a person could be so self-centered.
I did not like how this book ended at all & it ruined the whole book for me!
At first I thought it moved to slow then realized everything that needed to be explained. I was looking for an action packed ending which did not happen, but it was a greatly entertaining book that showed how three friends lives unfolded throughout the years.
Excellent reading. Enjoyed it all the way through.
Took to long to get into the story for me!
Character development
to slow
Slow start put worth it. Can’t wait to read the second book
Disappointing ending.
Enough detail so I felt like I knew the characters. Would have chosen a different ending.
Spent most of the book knowing backgrounds of main characters. the ending was a major disappointment
Was very slow to develop. Took a long time to create the characters. Decent read but much wasted time in building their profiles.
