I have enjoyed all that I’ve read in this series. Characters are well thought out and keeps me interested. Look forward to more of her books.
Great! As usual.
Needed editing.
just okay, not memorable
This is a great series. Police woman in the Hawaiian islands. Each story progresses the interesting main character and her life and loves, while murders are solved. The author has moved the main character from island to island, showcasing Hawaiian culture and history. Really excellent.
After reading the first book, I was hooked! Had to read ALL of them!!
Good murder mystery with many twists and turns
Believable characters that behave sensibly. Good police work. Accurate depiction of dog/owner relationships. Loved being immersed in Hawaii and it’s culture.
I really liked the story line. I liked that the main character did go into situations without thinking them through, but she held to account for them.
I have read many Toby Neal books. They have excellent plots and often unexpected twist in the plot.
This latest in Toby Neal’s crime series set on the Hawaiian Islands doesn’t disappoint. Familiar characters reappear in a plot set in a park where rare birds are being threatened by poachers. The plot is fast-moving and the identity of the perp is far from obvious. I must confess that I sometimes find the actions of the main characters unrealistic …
I liked the book. Good character portrayal with a good plot.
Average read. Nothing exceptionally interesting.
Love the Hawaiian setting!
Every time I think of Lei dealing with child rape I tear up.
This author has a way of writing that I enjoy reading. Bigger than life characters that she builds from people she sees around her.
starts slow and stays slow.
Got off track with the wedding thing. Lost steam on the crime action. Too much relationship stuff, got boring after a while
I have read many of these in the series. I enjoy them very much, I do plan to get back to them
Might be a great book. I couldn’t get interested.
