These books are some of the most original, creative, well-written books I’ve had the immense pleasure to read. Definitely adding Mafi to my top 5 favorite authors list, right up there with Suzanne Collins, Amy Bartol and Veronica Roth. Seriously amazing writer and books that had me ripping through pages. I read the first 3 books in about 4 days …
This book sucks you in right from the start. You feel like you are actually in the main characters head as she is having all these sporadic thoughts. Absolutely loved!!!
I had to DNF it after 7 chapters. The writing and characters were cringy and just not for me.
LOVED THIS SERIES
I loved this book. It had me on the edge of my seat, waiting to see what would happen next. I would definitely recommend this book to people who love a little romance and a lot of action
It’s late, I haven’t gotten absolutely any sleep, but I’m jumping straight into book two.
Holy shit… Adam, Juliette, Warner, Kenji, James, I am so confused but in a good way! So many questions, and thank fuck I don’t have to wait a year for answers.
Peace out! Book two starts right meow!
This was the first book I’ve read by this author and it definitely has me wanting to read more. One of my favorite “bookish” quotes is “I spent my life folded between the pages of books.” I found that this quote came from this book! The main character can not touch people, but has lived her life through books instead.
There is a lot of action …
I was really excited to read this book, because I heard a lot of good things about it – and there are quite some people who love this series.
Now, I have to tell you, that I had mixed feelings with the first half of this book. One could say it’s an easy and quick read. I was never bored reading but it felt like not much happened in the first …

Shatter Me is the debut by Tahereh Mafi. I first heard of Shatter Me from the buzz on the internet, especially when Shatter Me was picked up to be made into a movie even before it’s been published. When I heard Shatter Me was a Dystopian YA being compared to The Hunger Games, I rolled my eyes. I don’t have a high opinion of the current state of YA …
This is only book 1 of the series but I liken it to the Hunger Games series. Except I really enjoy the concept of being totally alone and how this will affect your concept of self/reality! I look forward to reading the entire series!!!
I only gave it 4 stars because I don’t think it is good for teens.
The first book of the series was really good, the second and third were not so great
I love love loved the entire trilogy
Loved the whole series!
Best series I have ever read
interesting. I liked the way it was written enough to read more in the series.
I love this series and how this book ties really, really well with the other books in the series <3
