Jude Torres won’t let the doc shatter. The paramedic has been … has been attracted to the doctor since he first laid eyes on him at the hospital, even if the arrogant, solitary man doesn’t fit into any of his plans. Fight to keep him whole. Fight to keep him safe. Fight to simply keep him.

I don’t think I’ve ever read a better M/M series. I’m halfway through and I don’t even want to think about it being finished.
These men and the ‘family’ bond they’ve forged is an absolute thing of beauty. They’ve been through some of the worst that life has to offer and have come out the other side, better and stronger. I love watching the outsiders come in and break down the walls that have only allowed in the few they’ve chosen.
In Shatter, one of their own is brutally taken and an old enemy is back reeking havoc…it’s riveting watching the events unfold as they struggle to color inside the lines.
Snow and Jude are the focus of this installment of the series and they are a perfect love match.
The feels are explosive.
I can’t say enough good things about this series so far, I’m completely enthralled by these men and their fierce loyalty and love for one another. I highly recommend you dive head first into Unbreakable Bonds.
If ever there was a series with a dark ambiance and a brooding vibe it is the Unbreakable Bonds books by Jocelynn Drake and Rinda Elliott. But these writers are especially gifted in crafting stories in this series that are guaranteed to allow the reader to see the light of love shining so brightly amongst the men by stark contrast. With ‘Shatter’, I continued my enjoyment of the audiobooks superbly narrated by Kenneth Obi. Trauma surgeon Ashton Frost, affectionately known as ‘Snow’ discovers an old enemy is back in Cincinnati to reclaim the gentle and loving Ian. Gatton doesn’t succeed with Ian but he does manage to shatter their lives of the men irreparably. Fortunately for Snow, paramedic Jude Torres is up to the challenge of doing whatever it takes to keep Snow’s found family safe and to claim his heart as his own. The pacing of the book is superb with tender moments and quiet times both fraternal and sexual scattered among the exciting occurrences and thrilling events in the narrative. We get rich character development as each member of the ‘family’ grows through triumph and tragedy, love and sorrow. I am delighted with the glimpses of Lucas and Andrei we see in ‘Shatter, Book 2’ that featured prominently in ‘Shiver, Book 1’. And then there’s Geoffrey Ralse! Oh, how I loved seeing him again, too. Such an adorable fellow that I’m looking forward to reading more about in future novels. The universe is well supported by novellas and books from interconnected serials. For the sake of sanity, I suggest referencing Drake and Elliott’s Unbreakable Universe reading order. Here’s the link that will give you a smooth, well-rounded, totally immersive reading experience. http://drakeandelliott.com/unbreakable-universe-reading-order/?fbclid=IwAR3-TZUCceF6gzb_9yXm55tCT07qXzpkRg8xe-tpWtfHhDIF5B7GHhLzd24
I love this series, and Snow’s story was fantastic! (I listened to the audio version narrated by Kenneth Obi — he gives these characters the BEST voices!)
Shatter is the second book in the Unbreakable Bonds Series by Jocelynn Drake and Rinda Elliot. Oh man, thisbook kinda wrecked me emotionally… so much hurt, so many emotions, i definitely had tears in my eyes at certain points. These characters have already worked their way into my heart and this book definitely kept me reading and needing to read even more.
The story was very suspenseful, a hunt for the enemy… danger all around…. but these men are all together in this – Brothers in the way that counts most. I love Snow and Jude being together, very hot and perfect for each other. I cant wait for more.
I received an advanced reader’s copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
I admit, I expected Snow’s book to have the angst dialed up to 11 and while it was dramatic and certainly not free of angst and heartache, it was also full of joy and hope as two unlikely men find each other and let themselves love.
This book is so much more than Amazing, 5 stars is just not enough….!
I loved all the little twists and turns that made it hard for you to put down the book. Snow & Jude was so right for each other and the sexual tension between them was off the fucking charts.
No matter what I say, it wil not be enough to give this book justice… But all I will say is READ THE DAMN BOOK!
At the center of this book is a family forged by love not DNA. Lucas, Snow, Rowe and Ian are more than friends. They would die for each other.
Suspense is added when Lucas’ life is threatened. Andrei is hired as his bodyguard. Suddenly Lucas finds himself wanting things he never has before. It rocks his world.
Love these books! Have already re-read a few. I love the in-depth character building and the fact that the stories build on each character. The character’s lives are so entwined and complicated and yet they face everyday challenges and situations head-on and together as one big crazy family.
The storyline is believable and the characters are rich and something else that I love about these books, there are very few typos and even less funky grammar! Great read!
Loved this whole series! There was action adventure. love and chosen family. All the things I love are in this series. They are not stand alone must read all books in order. But worth every penny!
The characters were wonderfully real with true depth and chemistry was unreal!!!
although the characters are rather improbable, the writing is good and the story is never boring you’ll probably think that you’ve figured some things out and you’ll probably be right but so what, that won’t spoil it for you
Infernooooooo. Mucho mucho caliente.
