Tara’s quirky PI business is attracting some even quirkier customers. She’s not sure how Madame Vine’s Escort Agency got her number. And then there’s the eccentric motorcycle racing team owner, Bolo Ignatius. Both these clients want to Tara to investigate suspicious circumstances that turn up dead bodies. That can only mean one thing in this town: John Viaspa. Tara goes in for round two with the … the local crime boss, while balancing the tight rope of her deliciously complicated love life.
Tara Sharp’s life can only be describe as furious fun.

Easy reading but kept up interest.
I liked the characters in this book. They had enough flaws to make them seem like real people. We all have strengths and weakness that impact the decisions we make.
Forgettable
Easy to read story about a woman who sees auras and apparently is hired as – what? – a private investigator? – to find the truth for her clients. Nice touch that it is in Perth, Australia, although not a lot of detail on what Perth is actually like.
Colorful characters, especially with the brothel madame and her crew, but the emphasis is more on a racetrack who-done-it rather than the brothel murder. Gave up half way.
Enjoyed the Australian setting and turn of phrase. Fun characters. A good read
Excellent book! I can’t wait to read more!
Newbie detective reads auras to solve cases.
This is an exceptional writer. A peek into Australia.
slow read
difficult to read, tooooo many characters!
I really like this author and her stor lines are very well done… but I prefer my books without foul language. I don’t use it myself, but I find it more likely to pop out of my mouth when I stub a toe after I’ve read a book with it in.
Nice read. I enjoyed getting to know the characters…takes some getting used to the wording, but thoroughly enjoyable
Loved this book and the characters so much that the slight bobble towards the end didn’t bother me. I didn’t even register it until I had finished reading the book and was thinking about it. And stuff like that rarely escapes my notice. I look forward to reading the other books in the series.
funny, quirky characters in an entertaining whodunit setting.
Hurray! A southern hemisphere alternative to the Stephanie Plum series, with a female lead who isn’t perfect and doesn’t obsess about men (as much).
The idea of someone stumbling into PI work through the ability to see and read auras was original, and not overdone.
If you like the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich, but prefer the characters a bit more real and common sense, try this series.
Not as good as the first, though I will probably read the next because I really like the characters. A good series for fans of Abbey Cooper, Psychic Eye, though these are not as well written.
Tara Sharp is a disaster waiting to happen. With her special talent, she is hired to find out who is threatening a motorcycle race team. Lots of goofy situations. A fun, easy read.
This is the 2nd book about Tara Sharp. If you liked the 1st you will love this one. You don’t have to have read the 1st book to enjoy this one though. It’s really well written with good characters. There’s a good twist or two. It’s hard to put down once you start reading so make sure you plenty of time to spare when you decide to read it. I absolutely enjoyed the entire book without feeling the need to skim over any of it.
Fun and easy light read
