REVIEWS:
“Light, fast-paced, humorous, and yes, sharp, this Perth-based series is a lot of fun to read. As the cover declares, Delacourt has created a heroine Janet Evanovich fans will love – only this lanky lady is pure Aussie. You’ve not met anyone quite like her.” – Tara Moss’s Book Club, 13th Street
“Australia’s Marianne Delacourt delivers the laughs and action with her sassy, unorthodox PI Tara Sharp…” – The Herald Sun
“Tara Sharp is a gust of fresh air in the local crime fiction scene. While it is wonderful that our more literary crime writers are finally getting the attention they deserve, there’s still plenty of room for fast-paced commercial female-oriented Australian crime fiction. And Marianne Delacourt (aka sci-fi writer Marianne de Pierres) has certainly nailed that brief. – The Australian Bookseller and Publisher.
“Marianne Delacourt’s heroine – Perth PI Tara Sharp – invites comparison with Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum, and there’s no doubt if you’re an Evanovich fan you’ll enjoy this. Sharp, however, has the added wrinkle of being able to read peoples auras, as much a curse as a blessing.” – Scoop Magazine

I enjoyed this book because it was original. Likable characters and fast paced action kept me reading. Looking forward to reading the sequels.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book.
Good book to relax and unwind with!
Just when you think you have it figured out, you are surprised to find out who dunnit. Great beach read. I think I will enjoy reading more in this series.
Fun read – creatively imagined protagonist. Look forward to reading rest of series.
I was surprised how much I loved this book! Tara Sharp is a really cool character and is surrounded by others that are fun to discover. The plot(s) and people move right along. I’m eager to start the next book – it’s that good.
The main character was such a ditz at times. The other characters added spice to the story line.
I really enjoyed this book.
I thought it was silly. The premise intrigued me, but I could only make it through three chapters.
Reminds me of Evenovich books. Vary funny.
A little wacky but fun read.
Tara Sharp is Stephanie Plum down under. Great read with zany characters.
I stopped reading because I was getting bored with the characters.
Aussie slanted Hot Tomboy Aura seeing rough & tough gangster basher with a romantic hard-to-get angle. And NBA Basketball.
Wife read and liked it very much.
Light and entertaining. Good read all the way through. Unique main character and setting.
It held my interest and taught me some Australian slang.
