REVIEWS:
“Light, fast-paced, humorous, and yes, sharp, this Perth-based series is a lot of fun to read. As the cover declares, Delacourt has created a heroine Janet Evanovich fans will love – only this lanky lady is pure Aussie. You’ve not met anyone quite like her.” – Tara Moss’s Book Club, 13th Street
“Australia’s Marianne Delacourt delivers the laughs and action with her sassy, unorthodox PI Tara Sharp…” – The Herald Sun
“Tara Sharp is a gust of fresh air in the local crime fiction scene. While it is wonderful that our more literary crime writers are finally getting the attention they deserve, there’s still plenty of room for fast-paced commercial female-oriented Australian crime fiction. And Marianne Delacourt (aka sci-fi writer Marianne de Pierres) has certainly nailed that brief. – The Australian Bookseller and Publisher.
“Marianne Delacourt’s heroine – Perth PI Tara Sharp – invites comparison with Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum, and there’s no doubt if you’re an Evanovich fan you’ll enjoy this. Sharp, however, has the added wrinkle of being able to read peoples auras, as much a curse as a blessing.” – Scoop Magazine

Enjoy the series, looking forward to more.
Wish she would write more like the sharp shooter trilogy.
Boring. Deleted after a couple chapters
Tara has some interesting friends and her mom and dad are some of the most laid back parents in the world. God love them for putting up with her and her attitudes. And her living off them, but then again, she is their daughter and that is what kids do. Help them till they get back on their feet.
She has a special ability that they hampers her but in reality just enhances her to tell the good from the evil in this world. Her friends and coworkers are some of the most endearing you will ever come across down under.
Enjoyed very much. Plan to read the next one.
This story captured my interest immediately and kept me turning pages throughout. Fun to read
Character was very entertaining.
Too much like the Stephanie Plum books but set in Australia.
Tara Sharp is a complex character who is taking control of a life she has felt totally out of control of. It’s not going so great but she’s not giving up! Tara has a gift/talent that needs honing to be more effective and while that is happening she’s caught in the middle of a conflict that may get her killed. This book is very entertaining and once I started it I didn’t want to put it down. Good characters with unusual issues kept the story fresh.
Entertainment reading. Action details that are amusing, unrealistic BUT enjoyable and entertaining. Easy to read & relaxing as u don’t have to concentrate on intricate details.
Wonderful escape novel with lots of action and good development of characters.
Great read
I’m glad I read it but it wasn’t at the top of my list for fav books. I’d like to read another
Love this series. Cant wait to start the next book.

Made me laugh out loud
Loved the Author will look for her next book
Enjoyed it a lot! Anxious for the next one in the series!
Love the characters. Immediately bought the next 2 in the series and impatiently waiting the 4th.
Sharp Shooter is about Tara Sharp who sees auras. Since she is unemployed and living in her parents garage, she is willing to try anything. Tara goes to a psychologist expecting pills. Instead she is hooked up with someone that is supposed to teach her to use her talents and make money in the process.
Tara takes a job while her teacher is out of town and gets in way over her head. Who knew seeing auras was so dangerous.
Sharp Shooter was a light-hearted beach read. Nothing really memorable about it and I have no desire to read the next two books in the series. It was a good way to pass the time since I wasn’t in the mood to wade into to something heavier, my usual death, murder, mayhem books.
I enjoyed Sharp Shooter immensely.
