REVIEWS:
“Light, fast-paced, humorous, and yes, sharp, this Perth-based series is a lot of fun to read. As the cover declares, Delacourt has created a heroine Janet Evanovich fans will love – only this lanky lady is pure Aussie. You’ve not met anyone quite like her.” – Tara Moss’s Book Club, 13th Street
“Australia’s Marianne Delacourt delivers the laughs and action with her sassy, unorthodox PI Tara Sharp…” – The Herald Sun
“Tara Sharp is a gust of fresh air in the local crime fiction scene. While it is wonderful that our more literary crime writers are finally getting the attention they deserve, there’s still plenty of room for fast-paced commercial female-oriented Australian crime fiction. And Marianne Delacourt (aka sci-fi writer Marianne de Pierres) has certainly nailed that brief. – The Australian Bookseller and Publisher.
“Marianne Delacourt’s heroine – Perth PI Tara Sharp – invites comparison with Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum, and there’s no doubt if you’re an Evanovich fan you’ll enjoy this. Sharp, however, has the added wrinkle of being able to read peoples auras, as much a curse as a blessing.” – Scoop Magazine

Like Stephanie Plum…but “Down under” !
I truly enjoyed every minute of this book. It’s difficult to put down once you start reading.
I enjoyed this it was an easy read and funny
Did not like this book. The character was like a little child that kept saying “I know this is wrong but it will come out all right “
I read this one quickly. It held my attention and was enjoyable. The characters were fun and not exactly predictable all the time. *S*
It’s ok book.
I loved this book. Did not want to put it down.
I love Sharp – a wonderful main character with a sarcastic sense of humor. I liked the first book so well that a bought the rest of the series. Looking forward to the next one.
Similar to the Stephanie Plum Evanovich series. A funny fast read.
Was a very fun read. I enjoyed the premise of the story. Close enough to reality to be realistic. Will read more of Delacourt’s books. Like the main character Tara Sharp
A good read buy sometimes tried too hard to be funny.
Good, time filling reading, nothing exceptional.
Enjoyed it
Fun and easy to read
Set in Australia, our quirky heroine get herself tangled in a series of crazy and dangerous situations while trying to make a PI career out of an odd inborn talent. Peppered with unusual characters (although I’ve met a few in real life that rivaled some of them), this book never gets boring.
I love this book and the 2 subsequent ones as well! While reminiscent of Stephanie Plum, the series is set in Australia with Tara Sharp as the somewhat clairvoyant sleuth. The characters are great and the stories keep you engaged to the very last page and leave you wanting more. I can hardly wait for book 4 to be available. I am notoriously cheap and only read free books. The first book was so good that I bought the next two and enjoyed them so much that I will definitely buy the next one too!
We’ll developed characters. A fun read. Bravo!
I really enjoyed the storyline. It was unusual and any book that can make me laugh out loud I consider wonderful. While the story was engaging and I wanted to read the next in the series I got the free sample and chose to move on to another book.
Love Tara Sharp! Have purchased two more.
This is the first book I have read by this author, but I will make it a point to keep a look out for more. I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
