REVIEWS:
“Light, fast-paced, humorous, and yes, sharp, this Perth-based series is a lot of fun to read. As the cover declares, Delacourt has created a heroine Janet Evanovich fans will love – only this lanky lady is pure Aussie. You’ve not met anyone quite like her.” – Tara Moss’s Book Club, 13th Street
“Australia’s Marianne Delacourt delivers the laughs and action with her sassy, unorthodox PI Tara Sharp…” – The Herald Sun
“Tara Sharp is a gust of fresh air in the local crime fiction scene. While it is wonderful that our more literary crime writers are finally getting the attention they deserve, there’s still plenty of room for fast-paced commercial female-oriented Australian crime fiction. And Marianne Delacourt (aka sci-fi writer Marianne de Pierres) has certainly nailed that brief. – The Australian Bookseller and Publisher.
“Marianne Delacourt’s heroine – Perth PI Tara Sharp – invites comparison with Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum, and there’s no doubt if you’re an Evanovich fan you’ll enjoy this. Sharp, however, has the added wrinkle of being able to read peoples auras, as much a curse as a blessing.” – Scoop Magazine

Fun read something different an set in Australia that was refreshing at times very silly more ahead I hope
Was easy read and had some good characters.
So boring! Couldn’t get past the 3rd chapter. I even skipped ahead to read the ending; just to see if it would be worth it to stick it out. Nope.
The characters were brilliantly written and thoroughly enjoyable, the story was clever and had me hooked from the start. I really enjoyed the Book.
Loved it!
Great page turner and twists you’d never see coming!
Read a few pages and lost interest.
It took me awhile to get into this book since it’s written by an Australian author and I had a hard time with the slang but once I did I enjoyed it.
Enjoyable read.
Good use of paranormal gifts in a quirky young woman in a light mystery. Fun to read stories based outside of the USA (Australia).
One of the strangest and hardest to follow books I’ve ever read. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.
Great read! Enjoyed Tara’s character and gumption. A wild ride.
Holds you interest from the first page to the last, and makes you want to read the next one.
I’d actually rate this as 3.5 stars. It’s a fun romp of a mystery, with a very original Aussie protagonist, and a fun cast of characters. I’d enjoyed this book more than I’d expected I would, and found it to be crafted well and also written well. I’d enjoyed the Australian setting also, and was glad I’d taken a chance on this book!
Good unique story
It was a pretty good book.
don’t bother.
This is the first book in a long while that I enjoyed and that kept my attention. Tara is spunky and strong with a great cast of supporting characters that I look foward to getting to know better in Tara’s next adventure.
Great female lead
A bit far fetched but entertaining.
