Netto was a Cyborg, a protector, and a contracted mercenary. His specialty was the water: shallows, salt water, and open oceans across the universe. He was also a freak forged from the DNA of a bull shark—blue-grey skin, a body built with power, and a double-set of razor-sharp teeth. His nomadic lifestyle came to a halt when his old employer, the Earthian Planetary Exploration Division, offered … offered him his old job back.
Rylie was born and raised on the planet Kepler, on an agri-lot that farmed jewels from the sea. But something was happening to her family’s lots and people were disappearing.
When a giant Cyborg showed up at her settlement and struck a deal with her father, she was forced to follow the stranger out onto the water, into the dangers of the alien deep, and far beyond the sight of land.
She feared the Cyborg.
She feared his teeth.
But she feared the monsters in the water more.

Netto is a cyborg. Netto is a little different though, he can fully change into a shark! Netto scares most people because he has 2 rows of razor sharp teeth from his shark DNA. Netto is used to being alone, stared at, ran from, so when a female is actually interested in him, he’s not sure how to handle it.
Riley is the old sister of 3. Riley is socially awkward, she’d rather be on a boat alone than with people. When Riley’s dad brings in 2 cyborg’s to help with a problem, Riley is a bundle of nerves.
There are some editing errors. I like that story is making Netto’s appearance NOT perfect and still making him desirable.
I love Cyborg romance! I am so lucky to have found Ms. Naomi Lucas!!!
This is the third book in the Cyborg Shifters Series. I loved Netto and Rylie’s story!
He and his friend are called to Rylie’s planet by her father.
Something is terribly wrong with their oceans.
Netto and his Cyborg friend are going to find out! This story had a great story line, narrative, characters and action.
I love how Riley and Netto are attracted to each, and the sweet secret they share in common.
I am now on Book 4 and counting!
I’ve been enjoying all of Naomi Lucas’s books. Happy to see that Shark Bite was finally released. Not my favorite of the author’s Cyborg stories, but I enjoy that besides being a romance, Ms Lucas takes her time to also write in a plot. For this book, I enjoyed the male hero’s inner angst at handling various situations.
I also enjoy how this writer handles different were-species. She’s amazingly creative at taking a species that makes no sense to find attractive, and somehow making the reader find them attractive…
An enjoyable read.
I bought the set 1-4 as the title was very interesting to me as I love shifter books, but I also love science fiction and cyborg books. Each book could be read as a stand alone book as they were all unique in their own way and a complete story. I loved all the characters. These were not your usual shifters or your usual circumstances which involve so many shifter romances today. They were unique. The main shifters were a spider, a snake, a shark, and a dog, but there was also a salt water crocodile included in one of the stories. Each of the leading ladies were as unique as the leading men. I loved ALL 4 of the stories which is unusual for me with a boxed set. There is usually a story or two I don’t care for, but I loved ALL of these stories. I would highly recommend this set of books and am looking forward to reading the next book.
This third book is about the Shark shifter. He is no longer contracted to the government full time and has just taken this job to make sure the crocodile shifter doesn’t lose his head. Rylie is a native of the planet Kepler whose father has requested help for strange issues with their stones that are no longer ripening. The shifters need to find out what is causing the issues in order to gain more of the stones for the government. Rylie and Netto are both shy and introverted. It is interesting how they come together. This is their story. If I could give this book more stars I would.
Timing is everything
This series has become my new addiction! Each book is more interesting and intense than the one before. I love all of the characters and the way the ladies in their lives breathe life into their cyborgs. This couple in particular was a pair that I found myself falling in love with. They both had an innocence about them that made it impossible for me not to be in their corner, and the action and danger they had to overcome made this book an amazing story. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series and I can only hope that the author intends to write many more books.
