Xander, a blonde god, heartbreakingly beautiful. He owned my heart. Once my hero, my best friend, my lover. Now quite possibly my enemy. I thought I could vanish, disappear until I found the strength to move on, find the will to survive after he incited a war in which there could be no winner. But I should have known, should have foreseen…there was no hiding from Xander. Sin, the devil incarnate, …
Sin, the devil incarnate, wickedly sexy.
He demanded my soul. Dominating as ever, Sin is relentless, but I refuse to relinquish control, vigilantly protecting the shattered remains of my heart in an effort to keep myself safe. Yet safety proves to be an illusion. A victim’s revenge escalates, the hunted now the hunter, forcing me back into a dangerous life I desperately wanted to escape and soon the killer isn’t the only one intent on drawing me out.
Torn between heaven and hell, I was powerless against them.
Both men are demanding a decision. An impossible, life-altering choice I’m too frightened to consider, heightening the tension until it explodes without warning. Blurring the lines between the two men, Xander strips me of my defenses, leaving me breathless and begging for more. As the killer’s horrific conspiracy develops, Sin is just as merciless, his wicked games intensifying. Driving me to my knees in a desire so all-consuming, I’m left drowning until one terrifying, soul-shattering moment in time changes everything.

Great ending to a stellar series
The romance between Sin, Xander and Belle has been almost as complicated as the series of crimes they have been involved in or investigating throughout these books. Just when you think they have everything wrapped up, something else happens. Of course, the crimes are involving human trafficking, and there are always more even if one is solved. But the the author was able to transition from one crime to another throughout the series and tie them all together very nicely.
At the start of this book, Belle had left both Xander and Sin because she couldn’t choose one of them and so she decided to choose neither. However each of them thought that she chose the other and were separately torturing themselves with the thought that she was with the other. It isn’t until something happens with Xander that they finally get together and figure out she left both of them.
Like the other three books, this one has a ton of action, mystery and suspense. Sin’s two brothers Rafe and Kade played big roles in this book. Cade is Belle’s “Knight”, so named because he first introduced himself as her “Knight in shining armor”. He has been watching over her throughout these books and helped her to get away with the promise not to tell where she was. But he watches her through cameras to check that she is alright. They don’t have any sort of romantic relationship but he is sort of like a big brother to here. Sin was unaware until the end of book 3, that his brother knew Belle or vice versa.
I really liked how this book flowed and I was really surprised at a few points. I love books that are unpredictable and keep you on your toes. I won’t spoil anything but I really liked how it ended and I hope the author Katherine Hawthorne’s next book is about Kade and has these characters in it also. Rafe is just as interesting as he is an FBI agent, so a book about him would be good also. Whatever her next book is about, I plan on reading it!
Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
An incredibly intense, stormy, and twisty ride of a series
—>>> After all these three have been through, Xander, Sin and Bella are put through yet more trials as they chase the party responsible for their ever-present taunting through the twisted and carefully planned killings left as their calling card. As things were left from Book #3, we catch up with Bella as she tries to distance herself from the two men vying for her possession, unable to decide between them, but not having the courage to trust her heart in an all-or-nothing relationship with both. This was an incredibly intense, stormy, and twisty ride thus far, which all ends here in a more-than-perfect ending for all three characters.
This entire series was a a great group of reads. In this final installment, lots of secrets are finally brought to light and things get wrapped up in a nice little bow. The interaction between Belle, Xander and Sin has been a total delight. This series gets two thumbs up for sure. You really should read this entire series.

5 OFF THE CHART STARS for Shameless ( Sinful Surrender Quartet #4 )
ARC received from Netgalley & author in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed are my own & have not been influenced in any way.
This book is NOT a standalone & I highly recommend reading this series in the following order:
Sinful
Sensuous
Scandalous
& then this title Shameless …
Without giving anything away I am so ecstatic that the author tied up every single loose end in Shameless. I also have to say this series are top read(s) for me of all time. It’s a new to me genre M/F/M & to be honest with each book I was so hoping the author would not make the heroine ( Belle ) choose between Xander & Alex ( aka Sin = Alex Sinclair ) She did choose a relationship with both for love & their collective HEA.
Shameless does pick up the story line when Belle has returned from being kidnapped. It’s just not possible for her to deal with everything that has happened – so rather than be forced to make a choice she flees & hides out for several months trying to come to terms with her life. I loved that Xander &
Sin give her some time to heal mentally & physically – then go after her. It’s not until they do that Belle realizes they were never forcing her to choose between them & all they ask is that she comes back into their lives to see if they can make a relationship work between them.
There is so much going on in the plot of this series … we finally learn who killed Belle’s parents & Xander’s father – also “why” they were killed … Renee is still out there as well & becomes a threat to Belle …
This book was one that I had to physically refrain from going to the end – I never do that but I was on edge reading this book. The entire series is so well written & Ms Hawthorne has you on the edge of your seat at times …
You will come to love these characters & not want the books or series to end.
Highly recommend this book & author !!
5 STARS does not do this entire series justice.

Do we finally get all the answers to the questions????
Shameless is the fourth and last book in the Sinful Surrender Quartet series about Belle, Sin and Xander. This is not a stand-alone series so be warned that you will have to read them all in order, and be ready for the cliffhanger at the end of each.
So yep more secrets are revealed and the relationship between Belle and Sin, Belle and Xander and all three of them is still not what you would want in real life, but for a book it keeps things interesting and exciting. The mysteries and intrigues continue but we finally do get answers and things are wrapped up fairly well. Overall this was much more of a mystery/thriller than a MFM series, even though the book covers and descriptions are more geared towards the naughty side of things. ‘
For me I enjoyed this series for the most part. There were some things that I was not expecting along the journey of this reading experience and it took me a bit to get through them all, as I would put the books down and then come back later on. I am also going to say that I really would have boxed the ears of Belle, Sin and Xander multiple times because they were so secretive and manipulative that it drove me crazy at times. In the end though it was Belle that I had the hardest time with as she was flipped and flopped all over the place between Sin and Xander. Then add in the fact that she kept making the worst decisions about things, not smart like her character was supposed to be. But that is my opinion only. I know other readers will love Belle.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
This a wellwritten and fastpaced story that captivated me from the start. The storyline is entertaining and actionpacked. The characters are wonderful. Can not wait for the next book in this series.

Good read
4.5 Stars Steamy, and Suspenseful!
This is the fourth book in the Sinful Surrender Quartet, and the conclusion of Xander, Sin, and Belle’s story. This book continues the intense roller coaster ride, of secrets, lies, and betrayal, with twists, and turns right up to the end. The characters are very well written, they have an combustible chemistry, that explodes from the pages. This was an amazing read, this book was intense, suspenseful, mysterious, dramatic, gripping, passionate, emotional, and steamy! I highly recommend this book, and series. 4.5 Stars
I loved the characters, the story kept providing different plot twists and never got boring. The suspense and drama were great elements and the sex was hot. This m/f/m menage was a great read I think I just was not in the mood for something so deep.

This is the final book in the series, and you do need to start at book one if you want to fully understand the story and the characters. The author has done a nice job of writing an intriguing story with well fleshed out main and secondary characters. It’s a good story and a great way to pass a few hours reading.

The action just continues in this completion of the series! Will they get the happy ending they deserve? You’ll have to read to find out & I highly recommend that you do read!! Loved this series and can’t wait to see what this author has out next!
The conclusion of one epic story, that has you tied in knots the whole time, don’t think about the next day, because everything changes by the minute which makes this such an explosive read. Belle has left but who with, how could she pick Sin over Xander, or Xander over Sin, when the truth comes out punishments are on the table, but before that the horrors of everything that has taken place and what more is to come. Katherine Hawthorne has delivered the perfect story.

This is the fourth book of our amazing quartet. What a book and FINALLY an ending! But holy sweet moley this story is so not done until the very last page. I was back and forth on whether I was Team Sin or Team Xander. But really why should a girl have to choose? I know the saying goes ‘you can’t have your cake and eat it too’ but seriously, why not? Belle will pull right along with her as she goes through all the challenges, feelings, thoughts and pitfalls that she considers why making this decision. However, we have a killer out there that is not done with her and only adds to the drama, action and suspense of everything else. I highly recommend this series as these books are so much more than their sexy, fantastic covers. I cannot wait to read more by this author. Will some of these secondary characters get their own chance to tell their stories? Goodness, I hope so!

What a conclusion!!
This is book 4 and the conclusion of this series, books 1-3 MUST BE READ FIRST! Sin and Xander are done playing games, after realizing that Bell deliberately mislead them both into think she had chosen the other the men are determined to win her back, TOGETHER! But Belle is not about to give in so easily risking further heartbreak. Add to that the killings have not stopped and it looks like the men are now targets. Heart pounding, heart wrenching and a spectacular HEA. I hope to see more from this author involving Rafe, Kade and even the mysterious Luka Petrov. Spin off series, (I hope)?

This final book in the series gave me the feelings of satisfaction and sense of closure as things came together to what seems like a wonderful ending. I still had the wide swings of emotions as the plot flowed into the final stretch to tie up the quartet but they felt just right. There’s still the hidden twists, the new depths in characters, learning about the backstories just when they need to be experienced to put the puzzle pieces together.
While I had been skeptical at the start of the series, I found that such thinking was premature. The series pulled me into it and made me want to read it to the conclusion even if I had to fight the overwhelming swings of emotions to do it. It was very worth the effort to keep going until the very end. When the final cathartic circuit completes there is total satisfaction and contentment because the reader has now found their perfection.
The emotions I felt over the series have changed as the books progressed. I feel more attachment and investment in the protagonists once I saw their humanity and depth. It took a bit of a struggle to keep going until I found that. It was worth the effort. I’m very satisfied with the series and the author.
I’ll always remember how Hawthorne and her works made me feel. She made me feel powerful, conflicting, overwhelming emotions that despite having strong dislike for them at first eventually felt so very right and appropriate by the end.
I must have a certain feel for a work to keep me wanting to stay with it. This book and the entire series do that for me. As I’ve said in a previous review, it takes a special kind of author and story to do that. Hawthrone did it and does it for me. My emotions and thoughts are completed and fulfilled.
This was just another steamy morsel of deliciousness. The characters are so hot, the scenes…oh my goodness yes.
