The fate of the world rests on the shoulders of four sexy dragon shifters and the woman they’re sworn to serve… Reven. It’s a race against the Dragons we’re meant to overthrow, who will do anything to stop us from fulfilling our destiny.
We’re going to need allies if we want to defeat the Dragons, even if that means confronting the dark secrets of our pasts. But death and destruction follow us at every turn, and unlocking the hearts of my last two mates seems nearly impossible.
When all seems lost, will love be enough to save us?
SHAKE THE EARTH is the third book in this steamy fantasy romance series full of dark secrets, dangerous enemies, and smoldering desires.

Slade has come around! Another step into the right direction for Kira and her men. This portion of the adventure is focused more on Slade and we get to meet his family and friends. Slade is opening up to Kira and their shared destiny. Steam 9/10 * Sweet 10/10 * Alt 1st POV * RH * Cliffhanger
Another really good read. More family based, and I liked the backstory of the Hero in this one. Didn’t see the twist coming with the ending, but again, I really enjoyed it. If for whatever reason this was your least favorite, the differences between this one and the last one, which is my favorite, are night and day. I liked them for different reasons.
Also the spice scenes in this one, the game was being stepped up, and I appreciated it.
I seriously binge read this series in one night…
Shake the Earth (Her Elemental Dragons, #3), my fourth read from author Elizabeth Briggs, an author I’d wanted to read since acquiring 14 books by her over the last 5 years. I got this book in May of last year & lost track of it until I learned there was a series. “I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.” The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to Kiss the Sky: Her Elemental Dragons, Book 2, as well as her other books. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 – July 24, 2018).
Shake The Earth by Elizabeth Briggs is the 3rd in Her Elemental Dragons series
Kira and her dragons are continuing their journey, this time to the Earth temple to complete the bonding with Slade. Danger at every turn and the Black Dragon is determined to stop them at all costs. More secrets are revealed, the pieces of Kira’s puzzle are starting to fit together and now they have the resistance on their side. Looking forward to the conclusion of this adventure, especially after that cliffhanger ending!!!
I received a copy of this book from the Author, in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I had a hard time writing this review. This series up to this book had been fun, but I found myself not liking this book very much. If I am being completely honest if I did not have one more book provided by the author in this series I would not be continuing.
This book was supposed to be focused on Kira’s mate Slade, however, most of the book still seemed to focus on Jasin and Auric again. I am really starting to not like the romance it seems very shallow. There was one set of dialog that made me really dislike Jasin as a character so I am not looking forward to the next book since he seems to be the favorite and somehow he manages to be the focus of each book.
I was really looking forward to a book about Slade and I feel like his character was slighted. There does not seem to be much time spent on his character at all in this book.
The journey continues! Two mates bonded and now it’s Slade’s time. He’s a bit stubborn at first, but I think he was hanging on to an idea that was right a long time ago, but doesn’t fit anymore. We get more and more pieces to the puzzle and continue to try and figure out who is doing what and why as well as who is Kira’s biological parents. I also love how the mates are starting to trust each other and as they do, things make more sense. We get action, adventure, great characters, and steamy times! Awesome third book! I was given the opportunity to read a copy of this book.
I’ve fallen in love with this series and want more and more! Everything I loved about the first two books: characters, political unrest, and new territories to explore is heightened and goes into more depth. Slade and Reven have been my favorites and I love the extra time and focus on them. Questions are answered and the ending was incredible, unbelievable, and definitely left me racing to start the next book. The narrators do a good job and I’m enjoying the consistency in their performances throughout the series.
*I listened to this as an audiobook.
Kira is now on her way to bond with Slade at the Earth Temple. They go through Slade’s village on their way to the Temple and find out that the Current Dragons have destroyed it. They enlist the help of the resistance to reach the Earth Temple which is being guarded by the dragons. I could tell more but I would be giving away spoilers. This is a must read. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and this is my honest review.
This is book 3 in the series and it should be read in order. Kira’s past is unfolding as we travel along with her and her mates to the Earth Realm. Slade seems more distant than the other mates. I had a hard time liking him. But the sex scenes were still as hot as ever. Shake the Earth starts slowly but the ending is intense. Better have the fourth book loaded and ready to play, because the cliffhanger is EPIC!! I really enjoyed finding out more about Kira and her parents. The relationships between her and her mates are growing stronger and it is fun to follow their evolutions. I cannot wait to listen to the conclusion.
Lia Langola and Stephen Dexter once again narrate this story. I am thrilled that they have narrated the entire series. It keeps the characters consistent and the flow of the books seamless. Lia Langola is superb in her narration of Kira. Kira comes to life through Ms Langola’s narration. Ms Langola is amazing at narrating the male characters. She uses different tones to seperate each character consistently. Lia Langola has a sultry voice that is easy to listen to. Stephen Dexter compliments Lia Langola in his narration. Mr Dexter also easily keeps the characters distinctly different and easy to follow. He brings out the alpha in all the males. Lia Langola and Stephen Dexter are a wonderful narrating team for this story.
Another great book in this series! I love finding out more about each of the guys and getting to know them. How they help her grow and change as well. The characters and the challenges they face are pretty great. The book passes so quickly because you don’t want it to ever stop! The narrators really help pull you into the story and perform it with passion. They are great at bringing this audiobook to life. I love this book and do not want the next book to be the final one!!
A whirlwind read!
The fate of the world rests on the shoulders of four sexy dragon shifters…
And the woman they’re sworn to serve…
What a read! Gosh, that ending! Need the last book like now. Eek! Cannot wait for more. So excited and impatient.
I just wanted to read and read but alas responsibilities.
The writing is amazing. A natural talent (it is hard to find authors with good writing let alone brilliant writing but this author really knows how to write – so hooking!). The story is pure genius. I love the men and our heroine – she is amazing, strong, brave and determined.
Full of gods, elementals, dragons, action, adventure, attraction, bonds, enemies, destiny, secrets and romance.
Perfect for readers of fantasy reverse harem romances.
Audiobook
Great narration.
