The cat’s out of the bag. That’s for sure. I’ve really liked all the books so far and this one is no exception. Another great read!
I love the new Ash when it comes to Levi. The relationship they are creating is out of this world. She is also working on her Jezebel duties and maybe even considering being on speaking terms with her mother. Levi is my very favorite guy. Now that he and Ash are getting along he is very possessive and protective. It doesn’t sit very well when he asks Ash to find an ex girlfriend, who was also one of Ash’s greatest bullies. This girl has such an exciting and dangerous life and it never fails that someone is always trying to kill her. We find out what some of Raphael’s powers can do and it makes things really awkward between him and Ash. The plot thickens and Levi finds out some things that he doesn’t like and it looks like that new relationship they were working on is over before it really started. I love the two of them together and hope it is just an adjustment Levi needs to work out. I sure hope Ms. Wilde has chained herself to her computer so the next book will be along quickly. I feel like I’m going through withdrawals. I requested an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
Team Jezebel is hunting for the missing pieces of the scroll Sefer Raziel HaMalakh to keep it out of the hands of Chariot. Ash learns that her own father may have a piece of the scroll and so the hunt ensues to find her dad, Adam Cohen. While a new case lands in her lap dividing her time it fortunately leads to more knowledge of her fellow Jezebels and as things start to heat up it all comes crashing down for the worst and most unexpected happens that will put her newfound relationship at risk. This emotional, action-packed, mystery, suspense, danger and a healthy dose of romance will have you on the edge of your seat and with its many twists and awesome ending I cannot wait to read what happens next. This is one series you do not want to miss. I received a free advanced copy and enjoyed every minute.
As far as most people know Ash (Ashira) is just a normal PI with some great investigative skills, but she is just hiding what she really is. Her snappy attitude keeps most people away, although some have gotten close to her. Ash is right in the thick of it right from the start of the book, with the authorities questioning her. Can she find the answers to what happened to her father? Or if he is still alive? I love Levi and Ash’s banter/snarky comments to each other, and the secrets and mysteries in this tale (some we learn others we don’t). How can I be left this way? I need more answers (or more of Ash/Levi’s story), I guess I will have to wait on this cliff for the next book, please hurry.
I should have waited until the fourth and final book was out so I wouldn’t have to sit here waiting for October. The story ends cliffhanger esc but completes the story that was started at the beginning. The ending was WOW and it leads into the next book in a good way but bad if you don’t have the patience to wait. There wasn’t any part of this story that felt like it lagged. It was a really good addition to the series. It answered some questions that had been raised previously and throws some new ones at you. You see growth in the characters and the relationships. Definitely worth checking out.
