One family brings its own brand of justice to the streets of Chicago’s shadowy underworld as #1 New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan returns to a series hot enough to burn…The paparazzi can’t get enough of infamous bad boy Giovanni Ferraro. But unknown to them–and the women he beds–he’s just playing a role. Keeping the spotlight on himself keeps it off the family business. And … the family business. And if this lethal shadow rider can’t hunt in the dark, he’ll find his pleasure elsewhere…
Sasha Provis grew up on a Wyoming ranch and thought she knew how to protect herself from predators. But in the nightclub where she works, she’s fair game–until one of the owners steps in to protect her. Giovanni is gorgeous. He’s dangerous. And his every touch takes her breath away.
The devil at her heels may have finally met its match…

I have read most of her books and loved every one of them. All 4 different types of books. I recommend them.
Great Book can’t wait for the next one.
I liked parts of this book a lot. I like the whole concept of the series, and how they provide justice, the checks and balances they have in place.
I like how loyal everyone is to their families. I like the concept of the Ferraros knowing their mates so quickly, but I thought Sasha fell too easily, especially with the risky parts of their sexual escapades.
I liked that we got to see a lot of the family and neighborhood interactions.
I wish that Sasha’s family history would have had a little more play in the book, even if it was just letting her know that she probably does have more distant cousins out there. Also, letting her know a little more about the whole culture, and just the fact that there are the different groups around the world would have made sense.
I found myself skimming through some of the sex scenes. And the sapphire one-he really had time to get that made? Or had time to shop for it, because that would not be something to delegate.
I did figure out the baddies.
You don’t have to have read the others in the series, but it will make more sense if you do.
I got my copy from my local library.
See Amazon and Goodreads for review.
Love when she writes about family with great love for one another. She shows how siblings can stick together and respect each other
Love the book, can’t wait for her next one.
I dont know how she does it but Christine Feehan has another sensational book series. Shadow Keeper was an exciting, exhilirating read. The book had exceptional characters and support characters. Sasha and Giovanni are together after he first saw her and couldnt resist her. She was his. He takes care of her and loves her. Its very action packed and a page turner. Heres a tidbit. Giovanni is speaking with his older brother Stefano and his wife Francesca. “She isnt a fish”. Francesca objected. “She’s not even on the hook, “Giovanni said, annoyed. “I can get every woman I dont want, but not the one I do. She ‘s attracted, but running in the opposite direction very fast.” “Why? ” Stefano asked. “Why what ?” “Why isnt she on the hook?” This book is definitely for eighteen and older. Its steamy, fun and you just can’t get enough. Enjoy!
Awesome reading.

Great book…..had been waiting for it to come out! All her books are so good but I was getting burnt out on the Carpathians and this is a pleasant surprise.
Anything that Christine Feehan writes is good – no not good, exceptional. She puts you in the characters and makes you feel you are right there with actions as they play out. A very fun series – unique as well.
I love this series, such a different concept and I can’t wait for the next book.
As always, Christine Feehan has done it again, a great read, this is why I read everything she writes
