4 stars for Shadow Heart by Gaja J. Kos. This is book three in the Shade Assassin series. Book three picks up where book three left us. Crina thinks she knows what she is , and she is hiding it from Breccan, Ilya and everyone expect Simon. All Hell breaks loose when secrets are reveled. With learning what Crina is , we do learn why everyone is after her , and there are more after her than we know about. Reiner just might be the craziest and most dangerous though. I felt like in this book we get to see a more vulnerable side of Crina, not just dealing with Breccan and Ilya but who she truly is. The book is filled with suspense, drama, secrets, sexy scenes, secrets and its incredibly fast paced. I still have to say I Love Ilya and his sexy vampire self. YUMMY. I will say after everything was said and done; I feel a little bad for what Breccan is going through. I really need the next book; it cannot come out fast enough.
Book three of this series rocks with all things magical and dangerous. The MC, Crina, has major love problems on top of her own personal self discovery. Let’s not forget the hot and steamy this author manages to work into the tale. I’ve become familiar with this authors writing style so the pages fly by smoothly for me. A great recommend for those seeking rated mature reads mixed with epic adventures with blurred good guy/bad guys lines as well as uncertain romantic match ups.
This is book 3 of the Shade Assassin series. The story flows well and has lots of action and adventure. I found it well written and the characters well developed. This is really a great series and I recommend reading.

This third book in The Shade Assassin series by Gaja J Kos was a supernatural aficionado’s dream as it had shapeshifting, demons, magic, action and adventure, as well as plenty of hot and spicy sex for which the author is rather well known for. And, she does not disappoint the reader either as the hot and heavy sex scenes are described in vivid and graphic details. The story is also about trying to find oneself and where their true place and in what realm they might belong to. It is also a story about efforts to obtain power as well as efforts to overthrow it as well, and in the end finding out who are the real friends and supporters and who are the real enemy. This author never fails to impress me. The characters are so flawlessly crafted and have a depth and are memorable. The story in Shadow Heart is bewitching, flows well and is easy to read. Crina has trouble coming her way from all sides and it isn’t clear whether the danger is coming from friend or foe. She is keeping secrets and we all know how secrets can come back and bite us in the rear end. The thing is she has to be open with the two people who are closest to her because if the secret is revealed by a third party then it could mean the end of something that makes her life worthwhile.

Will Crina’s secrets ruin her relationships? This was an emotional story. Crina is being attacked by multiple sources and possibly by people she loves. Crina is keeping secrets from her two lovers. That her Nechist powers have manifested. But what she doesn’t know is that Zion knows and several demon lords have suspected. Reiner isn’t the only one wanted to drain her of her powers. She only trusts several people, but she needs to tell her two lovers because if they find out from someone else her relationships could be ruined. Kos begins Shade Assassin’s third installment with Crina facing some serious decisions. In doing so she sets in motion Situations she must then handle to the best of her abilities. Kos has really rolled out the big guns in this series and I can’t wait for the next volume.

Another great installment in the shade assassin series. I always enjoy how the story is written with the complex plot line which is slowly revealed.
This keeps my interest throughout the whole series.
You can’t go wrong with one of Gaja’s stories.
A must read.
Crina is dealing with her finding out about her neshit half. She is having trouble dealing with keeping her wings away all the time. She has yet to tell anyone about it including Breccan. She is still looking for Reiner, he is good at not being seen. She also asks Simon to check her DNA, but that will take time.
Crina is getting closer to Ilya while working on her relationship with Breccan. She is drawn to both men in ways she can’t decribe.
Crina find’s out the Zion figures out what she is. He tells her what is really going on with her ex. She also found out her is working with demons. He is up to something bad and he still has the amulet that can take her powers.
Breccan asks Crina to go with him to meet with the shadow world. The meeting is moved up. Breccan reveals so strange information. Also one of the Demon Lord’s knows what she really is. He reveals her secret. Things don’t even calm down from there.
This book started of fast paced and didn’t slow down. You have a few steamy scenes. You see Crina struggle with her other half, whether or not to tell others her secret and so much more. The ending of the book was good, can’t wait to read the next one.
