Shackles
This book took me a hot minute to get into. And by minute I mean chapters. But it was worth the wait. Archer is a vampire that isn’t like the rest in this castle where Helena ends up. He is different enough that she agrees to work with him to help free her sister Lola. They have a dance of kinds as they get closer to each other. It is hot and not lol. But worth the read.
Redemption
This was a great follow up. The twins Timmy and Tommy are way cute 3 year old demons. They are not like human children in the fact they understand way ahead of their age. They cause their mother Rebecca to do some hard thinking in ways for they to keep out of to much trouble due to their energy they have and need to ware off. Lock is a loner and seen as grumpy. But when he notices Rebecca in a mate sense things get really interesting.

Once I started reading our was hard to put it down. I love J.S. Strike’s imagination and the way the writing just flows effortlessly. I read everything she writes.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Holy shiznet!!! This story grabbed me right from the start & gripped so tight I couldn’t stop reading, (I didn’t want to). This has everything, human, demons, vampires, shifters, warlocks, & even bikers. And, let’s no forget the sex. The main plot is about a clan of mixed species working together to save humans from slavery & death. I recommend this read 5 Thumbs up.

I like all of the books I’ve read by this author, so it was no surprise that this book was so very good. The Road Devils are not your run-of-the-mill MC. Their reputation of bad dudes is a cover for what they really do…saving humans kidnapped by paranormals. The first story is how Helena met Archer, VP of the club, while she was looking for her little sister, Lola, who was kidnapped and Archer was investigating a nest of vampires kidnapping, killing and selling humans. Helena is so brave to infiltrate the vampire mansion, but no thought about what she was gonna do to get them out. With Archer’s help, they find Lola and escape the mansion. Along the way, Archer finds something he lost with Helena and a new beginning.
The second story is Rebecca and Lock’s chance for a future. Rebecca was saved from a demon by the club a few years ago. Pregnant and in bad shape she chose to stay and make her life and that of her twin boys with the Road Devils. Lock is a serious bad-a$$. As Road Captain that is kinda his job. This is the best kinda story. Lock is the kind of guy that everyone is afraid of, but he has that ooey gooey soft spot for Rebecca and the twins. I loved watching the change that came over him while he was helping the twins to focus their energies. Two 3-yr old half demons are more than a handful, but they have plenty of love and adults that care for them. I an so excited and anxious for more of the Road Devils. Tess is the story I am most excited to see. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.
