When I met Ryan, I might’ve been trying to break into his basement. It was for a good cause. I swear. Also, my dog broke in first.Ryan Blake is jaw-dropping handsome, wealthy & cocky. Not quite my type. By some miracle, he doesn’t call the police on me when he catches me trying to rescue my dog. He even fetches a doctor for me. Don’t ask why.I don’t figure I’ll see him again. Then, I do. Then, … I’ll see him again. Then, I do. Then, he kisses me. Once. Twice. Is three times the charm? To be honest, I swooned at the first kiss.
All swooning aside, we are seriously opposites. I wear cowboy boots and skirts. He wears suits and ties. He’s all New York City. I’m a Southern girl looking for a new start. We even talk at different speeds.
The list of things I don’t expect from Ryan is long. I don’t expect him to think twice about me. I don’t expect him to nearly bring me to my knees with a look. I don’t expect him to be so much more than I ever imagined.
I absolutely don’t expect to fall for him. So hard I’m skidding sideways just to catch my balance.

Addie has inherited a house from her aunt and moves from Louisiana to New York to take over the house and start a new life. Addie does not trust rich, sexy men but when she runs into Ryan while breaking into his house to get her dog, she is struck by his looks and cockiness. Ryan treats his women like he does his business, do not get attached, that is until he sees this beautiful woman breaking into his house. Ryan retrieves Barnable, Addie’s dog, from his basement and allows them to go on their way. Barnable has his own plan to get Ryan and Addie together even though they are completely opposite.
Sexy Suits is an opposites-attract romance that is part of the Cocky Hero Book Club. Ryan and Addie start falling for each other before they even know what is happening and have some great sexual tension without all the drama. J.H. Croix did an amazing job with Barnable and making him a big part of the story. There was a little bit of repetitiveness but it was still enjoyable.

3.5 really close to 4, heartwarming feel-good, Stars!
Well done opposites attract romance! I really liked that both Ryan and Addie had reservations, not just one. That felt new and unique to me. It gave the story a fresh feel for me. Again, new to me author that enjoyed however the story itself was more predictable than I normally like. Yes, I’m aware that I read a lot and it’s hard to surprise me, but I pretty much knew everything that was going to happen before it happened. It’s just a small detail and it won’t stop me from reading this author again. The romance and heat of the story was very well done.
The cover on this is amazing! Ryan and Addie had me laughing but mostly Addie. What more trouble could possibly get into? If it gets me to meet someone like Ryan, I would try it too! Their meet is not what anyone would expect but she brings out a side of him that he doesn’t let out. He is a workaholic and she is train-wreck (in a good way). As much as they shouldn’t work on paper, they do. It’s funny, sweet, sexy.
Addie has just moved to NYC and she’s already lost her dog. When she finally finds him, she has her hand in a window under some stairs and her bottom up in the air. That’s how Ryan finds her, breaking into his basement. These two had instant chemistry and I loved how Ryan wanted to take it slow. He usually treats women as business transactions, but there’s something so pure about Addie that has him feeling something different. Loved how the people around him vouched for him and excepted Addie into their group.
Sexy Suit by J.H. Croix is a part of the Cocky Hero Club Series. This is the story of Ryan and Addie. This can be a standalone book if you wish to do so. Addie first meets Ryan when her dog sneaks into his house and she goes trying to sneak in to get him back. Ryan is the totally opposite of Addie. Ryan is a serious business with his business suits where Addie is fun loving cowgirl with her crazy personality. This was a fun easy read..loved it.
Addie is a free spirit from the south who moved to New York after inheriting a house. Ryan is a fully focused business man not looking for commitment, but we all know you find the good things in life when you least expect them.
This is a fun story that starts with a meet cute, and has all the factors that make books fun. A sexy alpha male, a quirky, independent heroine, loads of chemistry, and a dash of unresolved issues from the past.
A well written, fun story that’s easy to read and leaves the reader happy when it’s all said and done.

Sexy Suit was a very sexy read. Ryan and Addie were perfect for each other. The chemistry between these two was hot! I loved that Graham and Soraya were key secondary characters. Barnables was also a delight and I’m glad that he was the catalyst that brought these two together.
Ryan and Addie meet when she is caught breaking into his basement to get her dog. Ryan is the fancy business man where Addie is a normal southern girl. She just moved to town into her aunt’s house she is starting over. Ryan really isn’t her type of guy. But fate has something in store for both of them. Things heat up and heat up fast for these two but will Ryan up end screwing up it when Addie overhears a conversation that he has on the phone with someone else. I absolutely loved this one. It was a unique storyline about opposites that had extremely chemistry that were trying to make it work but things just kept getting in the way. I enjoyed the lovable moments that these two had and loved the ending. This was the first book that I had read from this writer and I cant wait to read more. Highly recommend. A great addition to this series
I loved Ryan and Addie. It was a fun, romantic, sweet and heartwarming book. What I liked the most about the book, apart from Barnable, Addie’s dog, was how both of the characters needed to overcome some family issues to fully embrace their love.
While she tried to be different from her mom who spent her whole life longing for a man ( her estranged father) who was never available, she wouldn’t make the same mistake. Ryan was afraid to become like his late father and a horrible one mind I say, so he treated all the ladies like business, one and done, no feelings.
But since they met it was clearly their chemistry and how good together they were, even though they were very opposites in life style. How they met was also cute and funny, Ryan caught Addie trying to breaking in his basement to save Barnable. And from that moment on it was like a good little family and friendship.
As their feelings grow, both of them also start to work their issues and I liked that very much! I really enjoy this different scenario where both were a little problematic, instead of only one, like most books.
The epilogue was very cute and funny too. And during the book you also get glimpses of Soraya and Graham from Stuck-up Suit. It’s a good book and by the end if you don’t want a Barnable for yourself, you clearly have a problem!
I loved the story of Addie and Ryan! They are just the cutest couple, and I fell in love with them immediately. Off the charts chemistry from the first time they meet. Loved how two people from such different backgrounds found they had so much in common. Also, you can’t forget Barnable, the loveable pup that brought them together. It was also lovely seeing other people from the Cocky Hero universe, like, Soraya and Graham.
Ryan is a closed off billionaire with only a few friends that truly know him. Addie has an outgoing bubbly personality and Ryan seems to be instantly captivated by her. The chemistry and connection between the two was impossible for them to ignore. They both have a few childhood issues that seem to cause them problems and keep them apart.
Ryan and Addie are such wonderful characters. It was great to see how Addie tried to break down the walls Ryan built around his heart. I could not put this book down once I started it. This was an absolute joy to read; several times I found myself laughing out loud. I look forward to the next story in this series.
I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
A sweet and steamy romance that I couldn’t put down.
There is something magical about the way that Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward wrote their Cocky Hero stories. I listened to the audio version of Stuck Up Suit by chance and quickly fell in love with Graham. So, given the chance to read a new offering from the Cocky Hero realm I was all in. First up in my adventure is the Sexy Suit by J.H. Croix. This book quickly became a favorite because there is the sweetest most awkward puppy named Barnable. (Any story with a dog gets extra bonus points!)
Ryan and Addie’s meet cute could not have been anymore adorable. She tries to break into his basement to save her poor lost pup! I love that they both seem to have instant chemistry. Addie and Ryan could not be more different, but I love that they challenge each other. I love that they make each other think about their world differently. Ryan seems to have a special radar that keeps drawing him to Addie.
I really enjoyed how this book was very straight forward no extra drama or side stories, while each has their own issues and baggage to work through their love story is the focus and I really appreciated that. The supporting characters in this book was a great addition to help the story move along and develop their relationships. (Plus, total heart eyes for Graham and Soraya).
J.H. Croix captured the Cocky Hero perfectly. This was a joy to read and a great escape for me. I am a huge fan of Instant Chemistry Love Affairs. This was a 5/5 read for me. I can’t wait for my next adventure into the Cocky Hero Club.
This was a sweet, opposites attract romance read. I enjoyed reading Ryan and Addie’s story – I loved the hilarious way they met, how their relationship blossomed and how the story ended. I adored seeing Graham and Soraya (couple from Stuck-Up Suit, I LOVE the both of them so much) and how Ryan emailed “Ask Ida” for advice – it made me want to go back and read Stuck-Up Suit again. The reason why this didn’t 4 or 5 stars from me is because I couldn’t really connect with the characters, the storyline was okay but really predictable, and I was left not really feeling satisfied after finishing. This story just wasn’t for me, but I won’t knock it down any further because it was well written.
This was not one of her better reads,I had a hard time getting to the end and found the characters not very relatable. I usually love her books and can’t put them down but this one just never got there
What an awesome meet cute. Loved it so much. This is definitely an opposites attract romance. We get another cocky, sexy alpha male and an awesome heroine that catches his eye.

3.5
This is the first book that ive read by this author and I didn’t know what to expect. This book is a real opposites attract romance and it was beautifully written.
Ryan is a very sexy, suit wearing kind of guy who is also very rich and a total city guy. When he sees this woman he starts to feel things he truly didn’t expect to, she is not really his type and he didn’t expect anything to happen.
Addie is different from Ryan in more ways than one and what she really didn’t expect was to fall for this guy that is making her feel all these feelings they are from two different worlds.
Its actually her dog that makes them both realise there feelings and brings them both together.
These characters have strong chemistry and things have started to happen before you even know it. They have things to overcome and there feelings are so strong and they are so different from what each other normally are used to. But it’s nice to see the love blossom between them both. This book was a tad predictable and alittle repetitive and you could see what was going on and was about to happen.
I always love book that have epilogues as I always feel like this always adds something that extra special to the story.
This book is another great addition in the Cocky Hero Club Series and I cant wait to read the next installment.
Thank you to the author and publishers for allowing me to read an early copy of this book.

This is my first book by this author, but it won’t be my last! Two workaholic characters come together in this funny, yet romantic addition to the Cocky World Series, and sucks the reader right into their world!
Ryan’s a professional businessman, while Addie is our laidback, unconventional woman who doesn’t care what people think
Opposites attract in this new addition to the Cocky World series, and I can’t wait to read more from this author!
