He’s the sexy alpha male in the corner office who goes through assistants faster than free donuts in the breakroom.I’m the assistant who was chosen to cover for his last fire. The owner of the company is clear—hook the biggest client in our firm’s history and there’s a partnership for him and a promotion for me. Stipulation—we do it together. It doesn’t take a tarot card-reading psychic to figure … take a tarot card-reading psychic to figure out where our story is headed… late nights, trips out of town, and more than a few awkward moments filled with sexual tension.
No worries though. I pride myself on my willpower. I can totally ignore his sexy grin, his rock-hard body and his dreamy brown eyes. I will not become the woman other women hate.
But it turns out that Enzo Mancini has a lot of layers and if I don’t stop peeling, I’m going to lose everything, including my dignity.
The title speaks for itself! Don’t miss this sexy OFFICE ROMANCE romantic comedy coming June 11th!

The three brothers reminded me of my own lunkheads growing up. Funny, true to life characters made this a great read. Enzo turns out to be a sweetheart. Great writing and a great plot make this book a keeper! Don’t miss out on the fun!
OMG, great story and so funny that kept me reading much longer than my allotted time. Just had to keep reading and the steamy scenes were fantastic. Thanks and looking forward to the next book in the series !
pleasure to read!
Great series!
Purrrfection
Loved the family dynamics of the Mancini clan. Annie’s family dynamics, however, caused her to be wary of love, always looking for that moment when she will be rejected.
I liked this book. Not my usual genre.
Great story line peppered with sex!
I can tell the Mancini brothers are going to kindle melting trouble but I don’t know how Piper Rayne is going to top Enzo. When he falls, he goes all in. He tried to resist the pitfalls of the workplace romance, but Annie was irresistible.
I loved the portrayal of strong, intelligent women in the workplace and how Annie was able to get Enzo to see how much of a habit it was for woman to be cast in minor roles in his business. She did it without being caustic and he became he best advocate for her career advancement.
The chemistry between the two is insatiable. Enzo can talk the talk and deliver what he promises, with passion. The two are a fun and intense couple you will enjoy reading about. You will also enjoy meeting the other family members that will inevitably come up again.
This book is funny, and sweet and all the things a good romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!
This is a wonderful love story.
All the book’s characters, including the supporting characters, are well-developed, realistic, and memorable.
The plot was entertaining, fast paced, and easy to read and kept the reader’s attention throughout.
This book has everything and contains humour, intrigue, suspense, romance, steamy sexual attraction, and unexpected twists and turns.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved this book and it was a great first book to a new series!
Lorenzo, Enzo, Mancini is a Senior Ad Executive and Annie Stewart is a secretary at the same company. After a series of events, Annie and Enzo find themselves working together to land the ad agency’s largest account.
What I really loved about Annie and Enzo’s story was that they both came from really good families who love and adore them, and yet they seem to create their own barriers. It’s interesting how we permit our brains to think a certain way after certain experiences.
I can’t wait to read Carmelo, Dom, and Blanca’s books.
This review is for an ARC and is my unbiased, honest opinion.
This was my first book by this author duo and it was a blast. I enjoyed the romance and all the teasing between the two main characters. Lorenzo Mancini, aka Enzo, is a senior advertising executive who goes through assistants like candy. Having just made another assistant quit, one of the bosses begs Annie Stewart to take their place. Annie is a no bs kind of girl. She believes in equality for everyone and that you should treat people with respect. I admired her so much for standing firm in her beliefs. Her putting Enzo in his place time and time again was just perfection.
Annie’s current boss doesn’t really let her explore the advertising world and prefers her to just be an assistant. Annie is in a meeting with Enzo and some potential clients when she saves the day on a failed pitch. I rooted for Annie to succeed the entire book. She had this natural knack for advertising that couldn’t be faked. Enzo took Annie under his wing so to speak and sort of guided her on the process of things. Annie didn’t really need much guidance because as I mentioned, she’s a natural.
Office romances are one of my favorite tropes. I love the sneaky glances from across the room, the discreet hand touching in the hallways, and let’s not forget the sexy texts and emails that are usually exchanged. Enzo and Annie had chemistry for days!!!! I had to put down this book so many times because I was grinning like an idiot lol!!!
This book blew away any expectations I had for this author combo. I’m more than impressed with their writing and storytelling. Give me all the books they write please!
If you enjoy a sweet office romance scoop up enzo mancini book. Annie is tough heroine that isn’t afraid to voice her opinion when she feels like she is being pushed over. Enzo never thought he needed more than a one night stand until Abby helped bail him out of a jam.
When I was first introduced to Enzo in Piper Rayne’s Blue Collar Brothers series I just knew if he had his own book I would : 1. Read it, and 2. LOVE IT.
Enzo Mancini is a hot shot Senior Ad Exec. who is on his was to becoming partner. But the guy can’t keep an assistant to save his life. He may be all about his family, but when it comes to work he is all business. Until he is assigned a temporary assistant who not only pushes all his buttons, but challenges him in more ways than just in the office. He’s not looking for a relationship or love for that matter, but the more time he spends with Annie, the more he begins to think that love and Annie are just what he needs in his life.
Annie is the assistant to another Senior Ad Exec. in the office, and is working towards becoming a Junior Ad Exec, then on to Senior! But as she is assisting Enzo and the opportunity for her to become Junior Ad Exec. , she is going to work her butt off to get it. But when she gets promoted, she still hasn’t been receiving the benefits of her promotion because the higher ups are taking their sweet time in hiring her replacement.
Can she stick with a company who are so male oriented to reach her dreams and stay with the one man who gives her life the flutters?
This book was so great. Full of sexual tension, spit-fire heroine who knows what she wants, and a swoon worthy hero will do anything to not only keep the girl and make sure her dreams come true, but where he still can succeed with his goals in life.
I became a fan of Piper Rayne when I started reading their Blue Collar Brothers series and their books just keep getting better and better as I read them.
Sexy Filthy Boss by Piper Rayne is the first book in their brand new White Collar Brothers series and a spin-off to their Blue Collar Brothers series. Sexy, funny, intriguing, filled with anticipation and heat – this was an awesome read. Well-written and well-paced, each book by Piper Rayne just keeps getting better. Enzo is a tough boss and Annie is a take no crap assistant. This should be the right combo but when they are tasked to work together and travel they get to know each other beyond their work personas and that’s when lines that shouldn’t be crossed most definitely are – multiple times. Enjoy!
3.5 Stars – A good office-romance.
I read this book a while back and lost all my notes for my review so I don’t remember everything. What I do remember was that I didn’t like Enzo as much as I thought I would from when I met him in previous books. Also, there weren’t real feelings in this book since a lot was based on physical attraction and lust between the main characters. Annie’s exaggerations were annoying especially towards the end when she forgave Enzo way too fast for how furious she was over a tiny something he wasn’t even to blame for.
The story had a slow start and moved at a leisurely pace. I liked that the characters didn’t pounce on each other in the first second but it could have moved along a bit quicker.
The ending on the other hand was rather fast and as I mentioned above Annie forgave him almost without second thought even though I think that she overreacted anyway with how mad she was at him. I got the feeling that she had a hard time making up her mind about her emotions altogether.
The Story:
Annie had the misfortune to cover for Mr. Mancini’s assistant – the last one that got fired anyway, since he didn’t seem to be able to keep one for long. In fear of getting fired herself soon, it surprised her how great it actually was to work for him. If it only weren’t for the sexual tension between them and the non-fraternization policy. She didn’t work so hard to get fired in the end instead of being promoted. Enzo was eager to make partner at the firm but he didn’t count on the irresistible assistant who he couldn’t seem to take his eyes away from.
Thoughts:
Somehow I had a different picture of Enzo’s character from a previous book but I liked how confident he was and that although he was assertive and dominant in most regards, he was always fair and never mean. I really liked that about him, and also that he went after what he wanted though didn’t just take it but worked hard for it.
Enzo was a typical bachelor but this was luckily not shown in this book, though I knew it from his cousins’ stories. I was just not convinced how he suddenly wanted more when Annie became his secretary and he yearned for a family of his own.
I liked how the authors worked a very real and sadly still current topic into this story. Oppression of women is still very present in our world and this as well as women’s rights and their discrimination in our society and unequal treatment at their work places was picked up on in this book.
It was a pity though that Annie’s strained relationship with her mom wasn’t more elaborated.
What I really didn’t like in this book was how much attention the secondary characters got. I mean they were great and all but just took too much time away from the main characters and their story. There was just so much going on with his brothers and her friends/colleagues and family that Enzo and Annie came rather short. But all in all the book was a good read and I’m excited for the next one in this series.
Once again these ladies did an amazing job! I absolutely loved it. Truthfully I wasn’t sure about Enzo and his little rude attitude but I quickly warmed up to him. The back and forth was entertaining and of course the family just made it all the better. Definitely can’t wait for the next book!!
This was a great beginning to this series. It was a fun and sexy office romance. Enzo and Annie have great chemistry to a slow romance with fun along the way. I cannot wait to read the next installment of the Mancini family.
Light-hearted and sometimes silly, this was a sexy romp between a senior ad executive and his temporary assistant. Lorenzo Mancini has gone through several assistants and when he’s suddenly stranded without one and there’s an impending sales pitch, Annie is forced to step in. She does such a great job she landed the job as Enzo’s assistant.
Annie is creative and driven and she’s soon helping Enzo preparing successful ad campaigns. They also start a flirtation that promises more, but there’s a no-fraternization rule in the company, and we know that in the ad world, men rule and women have the losing side. The machinations of an ad company with a misogynistic owner were interesting and realistic, I liked that part and understand why it disgusts us readers.
Enzo’s relation with his brothers and their attitudes about women comprise the silly part of the story and caused the majority of my laughter . I wanted to slap their heads so frequently! Of Italian descent, stubbornly single, and clueless. They settle all their discussions with the Rock Paper Scissors game, very mature!
This was fun, short and fast paced. I loved the banter between Annie and Enzo, and also loved the girls time with her sister Beth and Mae. Next up is Carm’s book and after reading him in this book, it promises to be even funnier than this one.
