Rockstar. Sex God. Werewolf.Trent Savage has it all… apart from the one thing he really wants. His mate. The trouble is, the man Sav wants, the one who smells like home to him is none other than his band-mate, Karlan Rixx. The epitome of the playboy rocker, he’s sexy and gorgeous with the feral edge of a werewolf that gets Sav’s motor running every single time. And he’s straight, a new woman in … time.
And he’s straight, a new woman in his bed every night. And it’s tearing Sav apart.
Unable to bear it anymore, he leaves the band, even though music is the one thing that keeps him sane. But anything’s better than seeing the man he loves — his mate — and not being able to touch. Ever. He’s loved Karlan since they were young. Now he must face forever without him…
Lyric hound. Pretend womaniser. Defective wolf.
K loves being a Lyric Hound. The only time he truly feels alive is on stage, a guitar in his hand and the beat of Sav’s drums flowing through his veins. He may be a womanizer, but it’s the other wolf who makes his heart pound and his body ache. He knows Sav has a thing for men, pretty boys usually, nothing like K…
But before K can decided enough’s enough and admit how he feels, Sav leaves. The band, their world… him… When nothing and no one seems to be able to track him down, K has to resort to extreme measures to forget the unforgettable. To forget Trent Savage.
But fate might have other ideas. Throw in a dating service and a log cabin, and these two stubborn wolves might just have a chance at their happily ever after…

Finally, K and Sav get their story. As always, Mina brings the characters to life, and pulls you into their story. Her gift for weaving magical worlds with realism is a genuine page-turner for me. The male-male couple in this book made me long for their HEA – and I wasn’t disappointed. If you enjoy m/m, snap this right up! Not a bad book in the series!
I’m not a fan of MM but I enjoy this author’s work. Even though I skimmed the sex scenes there was plenty of story line to entertain me. Sexy rock gods who are also wolf shifters..what more could you want in a book. This was a fun story packed with emotion.
Sex, Wolves and Rock ‘n Roll was hawt! With Sav and K not having a relationship but being bandmates. Night after Night of seeing each other take groupies home. I loved the open honesty of K’s family. I thought that it was good that when Sav made a change to his life leaving, the book didn’t have him abort his direction just because of K. The read was quick, easy and very enjoyable.
Loved it! Sav has known K was his mate for a long time but the other man has never mentioned anything. After years of denying himself the one thing he wants, Sav finally reaches his breaking point. Turning his back on his mate and the band, his only family, Sav disappears. K has a secret- one that has kept him from realizing his mate was under his nose all along. Will a “blind date” bring these two together or has the guitarist/drummer duo played their final gig? Looking forward to more books in this series.
*I received an Advance Reader’s Copy of this book which I am voluntarily reviewing*

I really enjoyed this book and thought the chemistry between Sav and K was off the charts. I’ve read the original book that was published under the old publisher back in 2014 but never gotten around to posting a review so here goes. Sav has had enough of seeing his mate and band mate K be with a different woman every night as it hurts so he decides to leave the Lyric Hounds and his found family since he thinks that his mate’s known for years but because he’s straight he doesn’t want him but little does know that helping save him and his mum from the trailer fire that not only robbed Sav of his mum but K’s wolf his sense of smell. Therefore he has no idea that his mate has been in front of him all these years, if only Sav had said something to him. K’s found an experimental treatment that helps regenerate and heal the damaged cells so his wolf will finally be able to smell his mate if the treatment works.
K is really angry when he finds out Sav has left and loses it at band practice with their new drummer as K thinks that Payne is trying to be Sav, Payne goes to check on K and tell him that he’s not trying to be Sav and that he hopes Sav comes back to the band but would love to play with them even for a while which deflates K’s anger really fast. Payne tells him that he overheard Tempest saying that save had been asking for the details of the service that Aaron and Mel used when they met as he wants to book a date so why doesn’t K book one as well. The match making service works their magic and K and Sav are matched together for their date. K gets the shock of his life that it’s Sav that shows up but that they’re mates. Their night together is explosive and thought It was cute how Sav calls K little wolf. I would’ve loved that this book was a bit longer so we got to see more of their HEA. I’ve enjoyed the Lyric Hound series books but I’m hoping Mina will eventually write Tempest’s story this time around, as she deserves her HEA as well. I’d recommend this book, series and author to everyone.
This book will make you howl! You really see what happens behind the scenes of a band. It will also transport you into the lives of people that feel real. This may be a short story but it is chock full of action.
Great fun MM read. I have enjoyed all the stories in this Lyric Hound series. This one was fun with great characters and hot, steamy scenes. Any lover of MM will enjoy this insta love story. While short it was complete and satisfying.
