I little too much details of sex that is not realistic. The characters are fine though. Too much of the use of the f…. word also. un realistic
A rags to riches Cinderella tale that has you routing for the lead female character right away. Truly an enjoyable read.
My first time reading this author. Loved the characters – especially Mimi. Made me sorry I’m not a “Southern Lady” myself, with my own glass of sweet tea. I’ll add this series to my reading list.
Received a copy free for a review. A lot of sex, but a fantastic romantic story. I enjoyed it!
Although somewhat predictable it was very enjoyable. Male character was too good to be true but it’s nice to dream there is such a guy like Mac. Steamy R rated scenes without being vulgar. Enjoyed the fact I had to consult word search for some of the vocabulary. Enjoyable can also be educational.
This book was an easy read. Likable characters which you can continue to read about in the next book in the series.
I loved the parts the grannies played in it.
This book is a romance and a mystery. However, it read more like a typical Harlequin romance novel at times.
I enjoyed it very much!
Love this book! Have read all in the series and waiting for the new one!
I loved this whole series!
I did not care for this at all.
This is such a pleasant book to read! I loved each character right from the start soon i was into the setting of the story and couldn’t put it down until i finished
A little too graphic for me, but a good story line.
Although I grew up in Illinois, I’ve lived in the South over 50 years and enjoy a good Southern novel with quirky characters. I even have friends who love their sweettea (one word). The grandmother was kind of cool and spunky, but the rest of them were pretty much stereotypes of rich and gorgeous people finding each other, having passionate sex and living happily ever after. This was really a waste of time and calories!
Just a typical chick romance tale, totally predictable and lots of sex – BORING!
Loved it! Looking forward to reading the next book!
I deleted this book from my Kindle after one chapter. On page one, the male character awakens and looks at the “piece of a–” on his bed. He’s an FBI agent; tough to respect that shining personality. It went downhill from there. Light, frothy sexual antics aren’t an issue with me, but this was simply crass.
It had an ending but it is continued in a second book.
