I like to read any of Stuart Woods books
Don’t buy the book, get it from the library if you need to keep up with the Stone Barrington storyline. Nothing, absolutely nothing interesting happened in this book. I wasted my time on this one.
Awesome book
Don’t start until you have time to read straight through. Love the adventures of Stone Barrington. Great writing with action and not too much detail.
Another in the great Stone Barrington series!!
“The” protagonist!! stuart woods has created the quintessential character. terrific. you can read 50 of them. but you can’t read just one.
This is my book #2. Stone Barrington is an interesting character. This became a page turner once the story was laid out. Very different style from the intense action of J.D. Robb who entices you from the first page…
Typical Woods story
An author I always read. Love his irreverent sense of humor regarding politics.
Is Stuart ever going to be original again? Stone jumps in and out of bed with beautiful international women and continues to get richer. I liked him better when he was struggling financially.
Great read. Some what predictable. Unfair to tie the next novel to this one.
Fun, quick read.
Good read.
Same old stuff. Man-whore Stone Barrington getting in and out of trouble while flaunting his wealth.
I love Stuart Woods
Love Stone Barrington, but this was one of the most boring books I’ve ever read.
It was terrible, one of Woods worst books that I’ve read and I’ve read most of his Barrington books. I think he had a book due and just phoned it in. Full of descriptions of what the main characters buy, mostly it appears that was done to fill pages. If Woods didn’t do this the books plot lines would have only filled three or four pages. Don’t waste your time reading this book.
You can’t go wrong with a Woods book
Not much thought put into this book. Very disappoint . Stuart Woods is capable of much better .
Touches all the Woods bases, but appears relatively early in the Stone Barrington series, so many of the characters are yet far from fleshed out
