Not my kind of book
This is a great book, but be warned…there are several of them and the story just stops and continues on in the next book. Very sneaky way to get you to buy/ read all 6.
I couldn’t put this series down
Enjoyed, all the books in this series.
Really half a book
I did not like how the book ended in the middle of a scene.
I was really annoyed at how it ended or rather didn’t end. I would not have started this book if I realized that there would be no closure at the end. I wouldn’t waste my time on it until all three books are done.
Ended up buying the whole series…
This seems to be a first attempt at a novel. It falls flat, characters are stereotypes. The author simply cannot bring the story to life.
She does a good job of creating an eerie atmosphere reminiscent of suspense writers like Phyllis Whitney.
I ended up getting the entire 6-book series since I enjoyed this one; the middle books dragged a bit and I got tired of the depraved villainess but the final one was a great wrap-up to it all. Overall a cool premise and likable heroine.
Sugary. Syrupy. Silly…
This is a SERIES…The story will continue on from one book to the next. They are not, as others have claimed, incomplete or unfinished. You’re not forced nor obligated to continue on if you are not so inclined.
Interesting and quick read. I think the build up toward the Mia, and William back story could’ve been fleshed out a bit more. A few …
I love the Seven Sisters books –
Very haunting story. Love the setting at an old plantation. Interesting characters, but the writing could be slightly better. Even still, I’m reading the next installment since I really feel like I need to find out what happens.
I enjoyed reading this very much. The characters were relatable, the story captured my attention, and kept it to the last page. It was a fun read. I have read several of her books. I like the historical information she includes, and the paranormal element is a favorite of mine in stories, so that was fun. She has several series, and I have read …
I hate to give bad reviews to books, but I’m sorry. This book is really bad. I work in museums, so I was excited to read it, but it was clear within the first couple of pages that the author did not research the museum field AT ALL. I just couldn’t get past it. Without that, I may have been able to get past the mediocre writing and ridiculous …
Read the all the collection and very much enjoyed.
I am really enjoying this series so far and am excited to continue reading. However I do not feel a connection with the main character as much as I do with the characters from the past.
Love this one!! I cannot wait to read the rest of the series!!
