The yummy conclusion to The Penthouse Affair! The second book in the duet picks up exactly where the first book left off and has us riveted throughout to see what’s going to happen between Dom and Presley. It’s fast paced and emotional and packs quite a punch!
Dominic Aspen didn’t mean to fall into bed with his intern, but she turned out to be impossible to resist … until it look like she’s working with the enemy.
Presley Harper did the one thing she wasn’t supposed to do … she fell in love with her boss. Now one stupid mistake has him not even wanting to be in the same room with her … until a business deal requires her assistance. She has seven days and nights to remind him why he fell for her in the first place!
This was the perfect conclusion to this duet. It picks up from where book 1 left off. You will be on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen.
My feelings for Presley and Dominc went back and forth during this instalment. I alternated between wanting to hug them and wanting to hit them upside their heads to get some sense into them. They are perching precariously on a thin line not knowing which way to go or what to do. They go through a real roller-coaster as they try to sort their relationship out.
Kendall Ryan’s writing in this duet is flawless and well paced.
I honestly thought the wait for this book was going to be the death of me. After the way The Two Week Arrangement ended, I couldn’t start this book fast enough and before I realised I was at the end.
Picking up from where book one ends, Dominic and Presley have a lot to work out. Knowing Dominic has been burned badly in the past, Presley knows he’s not going to be quick to forgive her and knowing her job could also be on the line adds even more pressure. Dominic…grrrr he annoyed me at times. Not knowing how to react to what he’s feeling, he’s left floundering and his attitude towards Presley really ticked me off. He’s hot one minute, freezing cold and closed off the next. He can’t stay away no matter how much he wants to and soon concocts another brilliant plan to torture them both. With so much tension between them it’s only a matter of time before they complicate an already complicated relationship and cross lines that shouldn’t be crossed.
This is another great book from Kendall Ryan and a brilliant conclusion to the Penthouse Affair series.
This one picks up right where the first left off. So if you have not read the first book, turn around and pick it up! This one was very raw to me as things were exposed by both Presley and Dominic. While they move forward cautiously, their chemistry is still off the charts. They are under each other’s skin and it is an itch they need to scratch. In the long run, these two together make an amazing team, both in and out of the office. While Dominic could have taken a smack or two for being a jerk, I understand him being gun shy opening up again. Presley has the patience of a saint but love makes you that way.
Overall, this was a brilliant ending and I adored this duet by Ryan. She gives you all the feels and gives you a realistic view of how love can make and break you into a million pieces but also mends you at the same time. How trust is built and so much more. I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed it!
This is the second and final book of the Penthouse Affair and despite saying goodbye for these characters being sad their ending is wonderful!
Dom is a very charismatic character but sometimes I want to punch him for being so stubborn, but his love for Presley in the end is undeniable. Presley has made some bad choices but only out of love for her brother and Dom, she is strong but at the same time rather naive and young. The thing is that in this book they kind of mature together since they are so young with so much responsibilities and ambition.
I just loved this book!
Oh my stars! Kendall Ryan delivers an amazing read and yet again proves why she is one of my all time favorite authors. Before I start my review I will say… If you haven’t read Two Week Arrangement, STOP here and go do that now.
After the incredible cliffhanger book one left me on, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Seven Nights Of Sin. And boy was the wait ever worth it!
I couldn’t get enough of this incredible story full of characters that had me in all the feels. I loved Dominc in the first book and he just got better in this one. So so swoony!
I highly recommend you read fun quick read that is sure to have you falling head over heals in love!
After the cliffhanger that is Two-Week Arrangement, I couldn’t wait to see how Presley and Dominic were going to resolve all of their issues. While they did get everything situated in a satisfying way, it did feel a bit rushed and I thought there were a few missed opportunities (mainly, I would’ve loved a few more pages for Presley’s adventures at her side gig and a bit more explanation as to why Dominic felt the need to date/not date the way he did). That being said, I did enjoy seeing that crazy couple find their way back to each other. I’m a fan of forced proximity and fake relationships and we get both of those with a single dad so you know I am a happy camper! Kendall Ryan consistently (and frequently) serves up entertaining reads, with feisty, intelligent heroines, alpha males with heart, and chemistry that just keeps you turning the pages, and Seven Nights of Sin is a great example of that. 4 out of 5 wine glasses.
This was a great conclusion to this duet! I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars. This review is for an ARC, and reflects my honest opinion.
I really liked Presley again in this book. We finally saw the end of the internship, which is one of the points I made in my review of The Two-Week Arrangement, although we still only saw one other intern for like a page. No spoilers about what took place, but again, I would have liked to see more work taking place since this was an office romance. Also there were mentions of Roger, and he played a pretty significant part in the previous book, but we never actually saw him in this.
Dom with his kids still made me swoon hardcore. Single parents are one of my absolute favorite tropes for romance books. He was clueless (but still lovable) man when it came to relationships, but I think he made up for it by the end. The epilogue was beyond adorable, and I wouldn’t be mad at this group of characters being featured in future books. Maybe even books for Dom’s twins?!?
Just some final notes: to be honest, it took me a chapter or two to get back into this story. I’ve read quite a lot between this, and the first ARC, so I couldn’t remember what had all happened. But once I remembered, I was back to devouring this in no time. I finished in two afternoons, but I’ve always felt like this author’s books could easily be read in one day. I recommend this if you like something that’s slow burn on the romance front, but hot on the sexual side of things.
A continuation of Dominic and Presley’s story. Dominic can’t resist Presley even though he is still upset.
Great finish to the story. Sexy and swoony romance. I liked the closeness between Dominic’s girls and Presley. Wonderful read!
The last time we saw Dominic and Presley I was screaming at my Kindle .. “Go get her, she needs you !” They by the end of this AMAZING story I realized that Dominic needed Presley too !! They are the perfect match to complete each other !! But can or will they ever get there ??
There is still the internship .. two giggly little girls .. guarded hearts and PASTS ..
Can these two get over the humps to be together ? Is it written in the cards ? Will family be enough ?
Seven Nights of Sin is the second and final book in the Penthouse Affair.
The Two Week Arrangement left us on a HUGE cliffhanger. Seven Nights of Sin took up where the first book left off.
Presley now has to prove that Dominic can trust her again. I had to stop myself from getting upset with Dominic. He didn’t know that she wasn’t playing him with how the first book ended. He was feeling hurt & betrayed. But even though how he was feeling he was still thinking of her and her safety. He responded when she needed help.
It was a great ending for these two. Sometimes it is so hard to not spill the beans on what is written. I have so much to say and keep erasing what I just wrote because that would be a spoiler. I really enjoyed Seven Nights of Sin. And I can’t wait to read whatever will be next by this author.
I’ve been reading Kendall Ryan books for a very long time. This duet, the Penthouse Affair, is my absolute favorite Kendall Ryan story. I always like her books but this conclusion left me reeling! I’m not even sure what to say about the Seven Nights of Sin! The push and pull between Dominic and Presley was hot and strong! I might have hated Dominic a bit occasionally. Presley was a saint for all she put up with! I can’t even!
I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that… my opinions.
This was the perfect conclusion for Dominic and Presley! It picks up right where we were left in The Two Week Arrangement. I must say this one more time….THIS IS NOT A STAND ALONE! At this point Presley is working so hard to regain the trust of Dominic and win him back. He had thrown all those walls back up so it’s definitely going to be a fight. But it’s definitely a fight you want to read and see where it goes. I just adore these characters. I think they are my favorite to date from Kendall. This book will pull at your heart strings just a little bit….you will be rooting for Presley and swooning over Dominic!
In Kendall Ryan’s The Two Week Arrangement, Dominic took Presley’s virginity and, unknowingly, her heart, and despite where their personal and professional relationships stand at the end of book one, she doesn’t know how to not feel what she feels for Dominic, which leaves every part of her life up in the air and the feelings that seemed to be developing between them at a standstill.
I have to admit, I didn’t know how to feel about Dominic throughout the course of Seven Nights of Sin. I mean…I understood his trust issues, not only due to the mother of his twins, but also due to what appears to be Presley’s duplicitous acts against his company. But what I struggled with when it came to Dominic is his hot/cold demeanor toward Presley, which actually feels, at times, like he’s leading her on but never plans to truly be with her in all the ways she wants and needs.
Presley’s words and actions in the second part of her and Dom’s story resonated her feelings for him and his two little girls and while she had her work cut out for her when it came to tearing down Dom’s walls and proving to him that he isn’t incapable of love and that she would be more than willingly to carry his baggage and accept his flaws as long as realizes that he’s more than capable of truly being in a relationship with her that matters and that has the possibility of forever.
The conclusion of Presley and Dom’s story frustrated me quite a bit, but it also illustrated the reality of what happens when a person is burned by someone who’s supposed to love him/her as well as what it takes for someone to finally let go of the past and move forward, truly being in the present with a love worth fighting for instead of giving up.
3.5/4 Poison Apples
Seven Nights of Sin picks up immediately where The Two Week Arrangement left off so if you haven’t read that book yet, do so before reading this one. I was immediately caught back up in Dom and Presely’s world-and was ready to see how this duet concluded.
I particularly enjoyed watching Dom in this book. He had a lot he was working through and I thought how he got to where he is in the end made sense. I thought Presley stayed true to who she was throughout this duet-and she worked hard to get what she wanted.
It’s hard to leave a review for this book without spoiling things from it-or from the first book. So I’m going to say it was well written. It flowed well. I enjoyed these characters and supporting characters as well. I ended this book with a smile on my face, which I definitely didn’t have when it began-it was more of a worried frown then lol.
I enjoyed this title and would absolutely recommend it.
Seven Nights of Sin is book two in the Penthouse Affair and I could not wait to get my hands on it after reading book one.
Dom drove me crazy at times, but I really enjoyed reading his and Presley’s story! Kendall did a fabulous job keeping me glued to my kindle and sliding through the pages. The chemistry between the two is intense!
I was so excited to get the conclusion of Dominic’s and Presley’s story, and it was definitely worth the wait!
I don’t know what it is about Dominic, but I can’t seem to get enough of him. He’s that perfect blend of sexy, cocky hunk and aloof, demanding jerk. It’s almost like he has a dual personality. The Dominic you see in the office is not the Dominic you’re going to get outside the office. And I think – at times – he’s just as confused by his actions as we are.
Presley is still an extra bright spot Dominic needs in his life, even if he can’t see it yet. She has such a good heart, and continues to go above and beyond where Dominic is concerned. She’s so kind, sweet, and has so much love to give. And she has patience in spades with it comes to Dominic.
This certainly hasn’t been an easy ride for these two. There are plenty of reasons for them not to be together, but sometimes temptation is just too much to overcome. Their story will take you on a roller coaster ride, but in the end, I think you’ll be happy with the outcome.
Another great read from Kendall Ryan!
*4.5 Stars*
I enjoyed this conclusion so much even though I wanted to smack Dom upside the head quite a few times! This book picks right up where book one left us hanging. There are so many emotions throughout this story along with lots of mixed signals and poor communication.
Dom and Presley both grow greatly throughout this book. They learn, love, and live even when things are scary and tough. Dom drove me a little crazy and I wanted to punch him many times. I prefer his sweet and caring side that he brings out with his daughters not the cold and distant side he shows when real feelings start to scare him.
The secondary characters in this story were great! I absolutely love Dom’s twin girls! They were so adorable and funny! The epilogue to this story was everything! I was left with a giant smile on my face and felt so giddy and happy after finishing.
Note: This is part of a duet so you need to read the first book, The Two Week Arrangement, before diving into this one!
Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.
What a great conclusion for this duet. This story is about Dominic who owns a company and takes interns to work for him. Presley is one of those interns. He was not suppose to fall for her. And she was not suppose to fall for me.
It was an entertaining story that was easily read in a single evening. Once I started I couldn’t seem to be able to put it down. I enjoyed this storyline that flowed well.
This is not a standalone. This is part 2 of the Penthouse affair. Told in a dual POV with an HEA. I recommend this story.
Kendall Ryan has delivered another hit in this sweet and spicy conclusion to Dominic and Presley’s story. It brought a smile to my face, made my heart sing and gave me all those warm and gooey feelings one hopes for when reading a romance novel.
The story picks up right where the last book left off with Dominic coming to Presley’s rescue. Despite all that has happened, she is relieved to learn that she still has a position with Aspen Hotels. She is the best person for the job and Dom doesn’t want to lose her, but anything more is out of the question. His past has made him guarded, and Presley has already broken his trust. But for Presley that’s just not enough. She did the one thing she was told not to do and fell in love with him. Now she will do all in her power to break down those walls and earn back his trust. And a week-long business trip to London will give her the chance to do just that.
Seven Nights of Sin is deliciously alluring and wonderfully written. The characters are intriguing and endearing, and the plot is the perfect mix of family, friendship, combustible chemistry and irresistible heat. True to the author’s form, the readers can expect to feel the emotions that radiate throughout the book. Add in some sexy banter and just the right amount of angst, and you have yourself the perfect romance. So kick back, get comfy, and give this one a go.
