*** Note: This book was originally published as The Seven Bridges Killer – the cover has been changed. The story is the same.“This is a book that will stay with you long after the final word. Ciana Stone writes about a victim in a way that makes you wonder if she understands this level of fear. And the monster who haunts the lives of the characters is shockingly real. A brilliant tale you … brilliant tale you won’t want to put down, but definitely not for the faint of heard.” – Candid Book Reviews
She was seven when the monster came and when he left that night, he took with him Isabelle’s happiness, sense of security and belief in a God who would protect little children. He left her with a promise, one that she could never forget and one that filled her with terror.
“We’re not done, you and I. You’re my special girl, Isabelle. I’ll be back for you.”
For twenty-five years, she’s feared that promise and his whispers in her mind. She’s run from it, tried to deny it, looked for ways to forget or overcome it, and now she’s ready to admit that there’s only one way to reclaim her life.
Destroy the monster. Or die trying.
*** Reader Advisory. This book contains scenes of physical torture and murder.

I love the new direction Ciana Stone is taking with the latest books she has released! Delving into the mind of a serial killer has long been a somewhat morbid fascination of mine and in these last two books, we get a look at what this author believes makes them tick. It is a book that catches your interest from page one and kept this reader captivated all the way to the end! So very well done!!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
A psychological thriller that will glue you to the book. OH MY! This one may just give you nightmares. I am usually pretty good at figuring out who the ‘monster’ is when I’m reading books, but this one had me second guessing everyone. The story shifts between current and past a bit to ensure we understand the terror that young Izzy survived and why she runs from her monster while the BAU unit of the FBI want her to help them catch this maniac. This writing technique works to allow you into the mind of Izzy.
This book is a departure of sorts from the romance novels that Ms. Stone is known for. But, the story and writing are so good, I’m glad she has moved to this genre. 7 Bridges will knock your socks off! The suspense and thrills are part of this roller coaster ride this book takes you on. I’ll even bet you that you can’t guess who the ‘monster’ is until the very end!
3.5 Stars
After reading Ciana’s recent suspense thriller The Boy in the Barn, I was excited to receive this book as the blurb indicated another suspenseful storyline and I was hoping it was similar to the previous book mentioned. Even though I enjoyed this story and it held elements which are of interest to me especially along paranormal/psychic lines I feel it fell a little short of my expectations I did enjoy finding out some of the finer details towards the end about the killer and what happened to Izzy and also it did have an HEA, so not a total loss I’m not sure about reading more in this series as it would have to be exceptional to read more….but perhaps
I received an advanced copy and willingly leave my honest review.

Now the game is on and they have to figure out how it is that the killer has been getting his information and how he never leaves any clues but now there are clues and the rules have changed. Izzy doesn’t realize that she has been under scrutiny all along. The storyline is very intriguing. Characters keep you turning the pages. A total Suspenseful Thriller. I was given an ARC copy as a gift from the author without obligations. I am providing an honest review.
OMG, Seven Bridges is a psychological mind binder of a fight for survival from a dark and twisted killer. I was kept on the edge of my seat with my heart in my throat the entire book. This is the one book you need to read.
So this one fell into candy of choice since for the most part lately reading thrillers and suspense. This is the first of what I hope is several in a series. Serial killers have strange minds that is for sure. in this one when he strikes you will be stuck like glue for then on with Isabelle. Outward actions and Inward thoughts will keep you there. With each kill that takes place your insides are twisted and you will cringe but you keep on turning those pages. Can her and her team later on finally catch this one that has haunted her since childhood. The memories are interwoven with the present giving us a full picture to go on. Suspense at its finest and when finished you want more cases for this team.
Wow! This was a serious page-turner. Grabbed me and didn’t let go until I found out who the killer was and when I found out I was completely shocked. Nice to be surprised!
This book is INTENSE! Truly suspenseful and gripping, I couldn’t put Seven Bridges down no matter how much I wanted to and stayed up all night reading it. But I want to warn readers, this is not a story for the faint of heart as it will stay with you for days and days…and more days. WOW! Great writing by this author!
This is a powerfully fascinating tale that will keep you spell bound from the very beginning. As the suspense deepens, you’re drawn in until you can’t stop reading. While the present narrative weaves in bits and pieces of the backstory, which begins to pencil in the picture of the evil that lies within, it’s the flashbacks of the past that color it all in, painting a picture that will chill your soul. Your heart rate increases with each page you read, and you will find yourself hooked on figuring out who the “unsub” is as well as by the characters’ dynamics. It’s got some gruesome moments, but they don’t overwhelm the story. They serve to illustrate the depravity of the evil and horror perpetrated on the victims. I challenge anyone to figure out who the real “unsub” is. It will throw you for a loop. I know it did me, certainly did not see that one coming. And I believe there is even more to come. So, hold onto your hats, we’re in for a nail biting, riveting ride that promises to make us want to come back for more.
