Two declarations of love. And a past that won’t set them free.Alexander had rules. Krystina broke them. Together, they learned the hard way that life was too short to play the game. Choosing to not leave their relationship to Fate, they fell completely and irrevocably into one another. As two shattered souls, wrapped in each other’s arms, it was as if the world and all its troubles did not exist. its troubles did not exist.
However, committing to love each other was only the beginning. Caught up in their blazing desire, they unexpectedly find themselves facing the shadows of the past once again. Just when Krystina thought she knew the man she committed to, more questions arise, causing her to wonder if Alexander is who he says he is. It should have been one of the happiest times in their lives, but the darkness still loomed, threatening everything they fought so hard to overcome.
Now Krystina is faced with a terrible decision: go against Alexander in order to save him or sit idly by and watch as his world shatters around him. For her greatest battle was the very thing their relationship was founded upon. Trust.
The heart-wrenching and seductive story of Alexander and Krystina concludes with Set In Stone, the powerfully moving finale to The Stone Series.

Wow I loved this book it is full of twists and amazing characters that will you hook from the first page to the very end. This series is a must read if you love dark twisted books that will have you hooked and loving this new author Dakota.
Alexander and Krystina
When the past keeps coming back to bite you in the ass and you just don’t can’t seem to put all the pieces together in your mind… When desire and love aren’t enough and you MUST have trust and honesty too… When the one you love faces a battle, but wants to count you out, old secrets surface that almost destroy him, friendships, family-but will she be able to find a way through to him in time??
Not everything is carved in stone! I LOVED this trilogy!
I LOVED the conclusion to this series as much as I’ve enjoyed the ride it’s taken me on. Alexander finally has all the answers he was searching for and I didn’t expect the way it all happened. This time it’s Krystina’s turn to be strong and to lead when Alexander’s world as he knows it is turned upside down. There was one moment I thought I was going to be disappointed in him, but he proved once again to be worthy of being one of my favorites!!
You HAVE to check out this three book series. While it does start out as a BDSM book, this book and this series is so much more than that. The characters grow and evolve outside of that world even if it makes an appearance in their personal moments. The characters are so amazing and watching the layers unfold was a journey worth taking.

Just when you think an Author is heading one way BAM she surprises you with an epic twist in a story that you thought you knew everything about. These characters had to work their asses of to reach their HEA
Dakota Willink did a superb job with wrapping up this amazing trilogy.
In the end I’ve grown to like the female narrator more.
Set in Stone, by Dakota Willink is a master piece in writing. Once again Dakota
has captured this readers attention with the most erotic love and passion between a couple in a book. The romance affair between Krystina and Mr. Alexander Stone is very hot and very steamy. The scenes definitely leaves a lot to the imagination in the naughty bedroom. The writer truly has a gifted talent at telling a story.
This book reads at moderate pace, while bringing so much entertainment to each page. I found the book to be very realistic. I like how the writer explained things to the reader that they may not be to familiar with. Yes the drama is heavy, but that’s what I loved about the book. The story of Krystina’s and Alexander’s is so riveting.
It’s easy to get caught up in this wonderful story, so be prepared. I found the book more of a love story than a erotic story. I enjoyed everything about it. I am so excited and I look forward to more books coming from this author. My fellow readers, I recommend this love story. Until next time… read on!
I really enjoyed Alex and Krystina’s story.
This was the final book in their story and it was brilliant.
I can’t wait for the next book from Dakota.

Set in Stone, book 3 in The Stone Series was an amazing book. I was mesmerized from beginning to end. Krystina and Alexander were simply amazing together. Their story had lots of twists and turns and I highly recommend this amazing trilogy!
The conclusion of Alex and Krystina’s story is not always the perfect and happily ever after we’ve been expecting. But it is the truth of two people loving each other, the ugliness which is sometimes part of our lives, the pain and regrets which are part of us when dealing with our pasts and presents. But all overcome by the resilience of two people with a love stronger than the issues threatening to tear them apart. I was hooked from page one of the first book and devoured the words telling their journey.

What an incredible ride for Alexander Stone and Krystina. I didn’t like the first book because it is awfully very similar to FSOG and I tolerated it. I tried to make it through the whole book because I know this series has potential. So when I read the second book, it opened a new world and we learned so much about the characters where it wholly separates the storyline from FSOG – whew! This final book finally gives us answers to so many questions we have about the first 2 books. We also get to see how the characters change and get more mature. I really enjoyed this series and the author didn’t disappoint me.

Through the 3 books, Krystina and Alex have experienced many highs and lows in their romance. The final installment, Set in Stone, gives the reader some closure and a happily ever after for these flawed characters after a roller coaster ride of emotion and poignant moments of sweet romance.

Having read the others had to read this one. This sews it up for us readers. That Alexander has us by the nose with his expectations but then again he is still wanting. Krystina has us also wondering what is what. She is right it should be that time in life but both have not revealed all to each other. Suspense is part of what this one had in order for us. It will pull on the strings of the heart wanting answers. Trust is what is the order of the day though.
This is the final series to Alexander and Krystina’s story. When you think one problem is solved another one arise. When Alex’s past comes to haunt him, will it come between his and Krystina’s relationship? I wish the story wasn’t over but sadly it is. I want more of Alexander and Krystina with their happily ever after!

The third book is a really good conclusion to the series. The Stone series just keeps getting better with every book, and I really recommend it. Personally, I liked the books better than the Grey-series.

This was such an incredible series and I am sad it has ended. Be prepared with tissues when you get near the end. I had tears because it was so sad and then tears because it was so lovely – testament to a good story. So much happens in this book and while I thought I knew some of it I really didn’t and Ms. Willink constantly surprised me. I lost a lot of sleep because I couldn’t put the book down and had to find out what happened next and I felt really bad for Hale so had to find out if his situation was resolved, but it was totally worth the lost sleep. I loved this book and this series and cannot recommend it highly enough.
Set in Stone (The Stone Series #3) was another great read by Dakota Willink. Krystina broke Alexander’s rules but he still wants to marry her. But their past secrets come back to haunt them. The only thing he can do is go back to how he was before and stay in control. Krystina doesn’t know if Alexander is the man she thought he was. I really enjoyed reading Krystina and Alexander’s story and can’t wait to read more by Dakota Willink.
Wow what a great way to finish this awesome series! Picking up where book 2 finished, Dakota takes the reader on a rollercoaster of emotions before bringing all the threads together.

The characters and their interactions were so well written, I felt like they were real. Believable conflict, stunning realizations and amazing chemistry made for an entertaining story. I can’t wait to read more from this author.
I requested a copy of this book so I could provide an honest review.
Set In Stone if the final book in The Stone Series featuring Alexander and Krystina/Krys. The book concludes their complicated romance. Trust issues continue to be present in their relationship until all truths are revealed. I recommend this book and the complete series which is a fantastic read.

Set In Stone is the final book in The Stone Series and it picks up where book two left off. Krys and Alex’s journey is an emotional one and after everything these two have been through I was desperate for them to get their HEA. I definitely recommend this book and this series to everyone who loves a dark romance with secrets and unexpected twists.
