Enjoyed the books very much, fun reading.
A wonderful glimpse into our past.
… but a bit lengthy.
Barely remember it.
Fans of the Crowner John series will enjoy these stories of a newly created officer of the king: a Crowner, what we call a coroner today. Set in the Middle Ages, a young knight home from the wars finds himself in a new position investigating deaths. The author gives a wonderful look into this time period with the ever absent King Richard.
Great insight into an historic period not often described, overlaid with a classic set of whodunit mysteries.
