I’d lived a privileged life, in the lap of luxury and surrounded by family. It had felt like I was on top of the world…until tragedy struck. My sense of loss felt bottomless, and I struggled with it every single day. Finding my path back into the light seemed impossible. But then I met Faith—she was smart, sexy, and out of my league even though she didn’t have a penny to her name. We grew up in … name. We grew up in different worlds, but somehow we fit perfectly together.
Except neither of us had counted on learning that our connection was more profound than we knew.
Serenity is the conclusion to Dillon & Faith’s story, which started in Fortuity.

There are no words that I can try to say to describe the emotions running through me right this instant after finishing this beautiful and emotional story. I cried, I laughed, I swooned, I wanted to jump through the pages and throw a punch (or like 10 punches, but hey who’s counting ;)) at someone (not spoiling who though), and I cried again, then at the ending of Serenity, I was happy, with happy tears streaming down my face and also a bit sad that this beautiful story ended but I was mostly just happy that Faith and Dillon got their happily ever after <3
Rochelle Paige did an amazing and beautiful job writing this duet and I'm honored to have had read this 🙂 <3
This couple goes through a lot of shocks; secrets are discovered and revealed that rock their foundation of everything they thought they knew; obstacles that get in their way but they persevered even when a mistake or two was made (don't worry guys, there's no ow/om drama and definitely no cheating; these two love each other intensely and their love is true for one another... no matter what).
This was a very emotional story from beginning to end but you won't regret reading it, especially with the beautiful happily ever after that Rochelle Paige gives us for Faith & Dillon <3 <3
This is the second book in the Fortuity Duet. Faith and Dillon’s story is beautiful. This story is emotional, beautiful, heartbreaking, and heartwarming afterward. Dillon is handsome, protective and caring. Faith is beautiful and strong. The story has drama, a lot of drama, some twists and turns, and love, so much love! My heart broke for Dillon’s parents. The supporting characters are great. Mackenzie Cartwright and Jason Clarke did an amazing job with the narration. I highly recommend this Duet. Looking forward to listen to more books written by Rochelle Paige. #AudiobookObsession
So much went on in this 2nd part of this duet! Faith completes college, volunteers, finds love, only for him to leave. Her insecurities, lack of trust, lies, forgiveness, and a mystery twist I didn’t expect. Oh this had me crying, sobbing, hoping for a HEA!. Dont worry it get there but what a trip to the end.
Mackenzie Cartwright and Jason Clarke are excellent storytellers and superb narrators. They emote every Feeling of love, anger, angst, fear, pain, humor and sarcasm of every character in this story. Bringing all the characters to life. Brilliant , I loved listening to it

Serenity
Fortuity Duet, Book 2
By: Rochelle Paige
Narrated by: Mackenzie Cartwright, Jason Clarke
Book two is of this duet packs an emotional journey like no other. Secrets are revealed and relationships questioned. Dillon and Faith find out the connection of their past and now have to decide if their love is real. Dillon’s parents reveal truths and Dillon is dealing with so much, life is spinning out of control. Will these two find a way back to each other? What ramifications will be felt? I was surprised, felt compassion for all and loved the way Rochelle Paige weaved it all together.
Narration continued by Mackenzie Cartwright and Jason Clarke pull it all together with their fantastic storytelling. Emotionally charged, each let us in and had us completely invested in the outcome of their characters. Their performance truly enhanced the story and were a perfect fit for Faith and Dillon.

Serenity
Fortuity Duet, Book 2
By: Rochelle Paige
Narrated by: Mackenzie Cartwright, Jason Clarke
This is the second part of Rochelle Paige’s “Fortuity Duet” and I loved it just as much as I loved the first book. This is a continuation of Faith and Dillon’s story and what a wonderful story it is. Be sure to read or listen to the first book “Fortuity” before this one because it picks up where that one left off. Faith learned something, something she needs to share with Dillon but she is afraid it may change the way things are for her, Dillon and his family. Dillon struggles with the info, he turns to old habits and Faith is distraught. In the first book we learned more about Faith’s past and what brought her to where she was, in this book we learn more of Dillon’s journey. I loved how everything plays out in this book, the heartfelt moments the heartbreaking ones and how they come out of it after all is revealed. Rochelle Paige is a gifted author, she did an amazing job plotting out the stories, she included and presented real life issues in this duet and handled them all greatly. I loved that she brought light to them and kept it real. I was very happy wither where she took Faith and Dillon in the end, they both deserve an HEA. Rochelle Paige, I thank you for this wonderful duet.
I listened to the Audible edition, Mackenzie Cartwright and Jason Clarke are talented narrators and voice artists. They continue to do an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and humanizing them. They set the perfect tone for the story, capture and project the characters emotions as well as the drama of the story into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen

This duet really has a great message to it. We should love hard, forgive often and never take for granted the blessings in our life.
Dillion and Faith were such sweet and loving couple. With Faith’s medical history, a lot of men would be too scared to get close to her. I loved how Dillion never wavered where Faith was concerned.
I worried about what was revealed at the end of book one but I knew no matter how long it would take, Dillion would come to terms and this couple would be ok. That’s how much you feel the love he has for her.
What I wasn’t expecting was a few surprises that happened along the way which ultimately carried another great message. No mater how perfect people seem to be, they are only human and make the best of their situations that they can.
This was a great duet if you want to see love at first site, a protective alpha hero and an incredibly sweet heroine. Their story is sweet with some road bumps along the way that show us how well these two work as a couple.
Serenity by Rochelle Paige is a new adult contemporary romance told in dual points of view, the continuation of Faith and Dillon’s tale and the conclusion of the Fortuity duet.
Unlike part one, this book contains a full story, which made it a much more enjoyable read. It also features more of Dillon’s point of view, and I appreciated the added insight into his perspective.
I still didn’t feel as connected to the characters as I would have liked; however, I was definitely more invested in them than I was in part one. I also still maintain that the length was so short, there was no reason to split the content in half as both parts combined make up a standard full-length novel.
Overall, it was a sweet conclusion to Faith and Dillon’s story.
Wow. I enjoyed Fortuity, but I loved Serenity. This book just gave me the feels. Probably because we got to hear more of Dillon’s side and his struggles with everything that had happened.
The author certainly threw in a curve ball I didn’t see coming, but I loved it. It kept me on my toes so my attention didn’t drift.
A great conclusion to Faith and Dillon’s story.
Wow just wow…
Let me just say I was Terrified about starting this book. The way Fortuity ended, I just didn’t know how this book was gonna go. I shouldn’t have feared. Rochelle Pause worked her outstanding magic and gave us the perfect ending for an amazing Couple…
This book is all about Faith and Dillion learning truths and healing. They learn lessons and how to handle situations. But they do it Beautifully and maturely
This book is exactly how it should have been. No extras and unnecessary drama… I loved it and was hooked from start to finish.
This Duet is Perfection. Utter Beauty and perfection.
Enjoy!!!!
Oh man did this book make me cry. Absolutely love this book. This author is amazing. I definitely recommend this book.
I fell in love with Dillion and Faith in the first duet. You could see their love for another. It was amazing to watch that. In this book their love for one another was put through the test. She had news for him and he didn’t take it very well. She started doubting his love and trust. He didn’t know how to react to the news and for the fact his parents didn’t tell him the whole truth.
Listening to them tell Dillion what happened to his brother was so heartbreaking. I was crying with them. I could feel his broken heart. The author did amazing job with this book. I knew love and trust can conquer anything and that it did. It was amazing to watch Dillion and Faith move past this tragic and how it made their relationship stronger. The way they stuck to another to take care one another was very heart warming. I absolutely love this book.
I wanted this book so much. When Fortuity ended, I didn’t know what to do with myself. I wanted to read Serenity IMMEDIATELY. I knew it was going to be epic, and it was. It was so epic I’m seriously struggling on what to write for this review. Rochelle Paige wrote ALL THE WORDS and I don’t know if I have any left to explain how amazing this book was.
Fortuity was told mostly from the point of view of Faith, and if you found yourself wanting more time in Dillon’s head, well you’re sure going to love Serenity. You get a better look at Dillon, and it is epic. I mean, their relationship was fairly easy when they got together and the cliffhanger at the end of Fortuity left me going no no no no no. Of course they were going to have issues. How could they not?
BUT MAN, do those issues snowball. No matter what, though, these two come together. They face the world together. There’s drama, BOY is there drama. Drama that sends Dillon and Faith spiraling for a hot minute. They’re left to question everything they thought they knew, everything they thought they were so sure of.
I loved the second in this duet because often when we’re reading romances, we read them falling in love, and that love is tested, but we don’t see them working through that test. It’s fixed and then BAM epilogue. Reading these two hold onto their love, and reading them actively work on themselves as individuals and a couple, but also read them support each other and their struggles, was amazing and different and stunning and totally run-on-sentence worthy.
Like I said, I knew Serenity was going to be epic, but I didn’t expect this total masterpiece. When I’m ready to bawl my eyes out (again-I’m a crier. I cry for everything) I’m going to do a re-read. They’re totally worth it. I bow to Rochelle Paige and her awesomeness. Totally epic. I’m running out of words to explain how much I loved this book, this duet, and I can’t talk about it too much without adding spoilers, so I’m going to shut my mouth and say you NEED to read this duet.
Serenity is the second book in a duet. Book 1 should be read first. This book is told in dual POV (Faith and Dillon).
I loved the first book and I love this one even more! This book picks up where Fortuity ended. I absolutely love Faith and Dillon. This book took me on a roller coaster of emotions. I was angry. I was happy. I was sad. I was scared. I was overjoyed. I went through them all. At 62%, I screamed “Holy plot twist!” out loud. I never saw that coming. And the epilogue had me in tears.
When I finished reading Fortuity, which was the first book in the duet, I knew without a doubt that the wait for the 2nd book was going to drive me crazy. In the time it took me to get the second book, I had already played out every possible scenario I could think of about how things would play out in book 2.
Well, let me tell you. I did not see that coming!
Serenity is the second half of Faith and Dillon’s bittersweet story. I can assure you that if you think that you know what to expect in book 2, chances are that you are wrong. The twist in the story definitely gave it a completely new depth. Not only do Faith and Dillon face a number of really difficult challenges, but Dillon has to face some harsh reality of his own this time around.
Although Faith gets her HEA, it is the story of their journey and the price at which their HEA came that makes this a really great read.
Very much like book one, Serenity was also an emotional read but with book two, I found myself wanting to climb into my kindle and slap Dillon upside the head a few times, and even shake some sense into Faith, and lets not even talk about Dillon’s parents.
I like the way the author had pulled me into the story enough to make me want to shake the life the life out of my kindle. I most definitely recommend Serenity!
Rochelle wrote the perfect ending to this duet. This book had all the feels of an emotionally packed follow up to Fortuity. I teared up lots of times while reading this book but downright cried through parts of the last 4 chapters. It was heart wrenching to read about all that Dillon was faced with 5 years after the death of his twin brother.
This book is filled with love, understanding and forgiveness.
As all families have tough moments and disagreements the ones that are uncovered in this book challenge the love and forgiveness necessary for families to continue loving each other and the bond that Dillon and Faith had before the discovery brought them through the tough time. But the discovery also brought another secret that Dillon’s parents had kept from him and it was far more devastating than anyone was prepared for. But their love was also strong enough to endure.
Grandma’s engagement ring brought a big smile to my face but Faith deserved nothing less and the proposal was beautiful and perfectly timed.
I look forward to reading Rochelle Paige’s next book since all her books have been awesome.
This was such a beautiful story, I would give it way more stars if I could. This is the conclusion of Dillon and Faith from Fortuity. This is such an emotional read, you will literally feel every emotion while reading their story. I just loved it in a way that I cannot possibly explain. All the feels.
This was a safe read with some shocking aspects. All the feels and emotion. A little couple drama, as I’m sure you would expect from their story. We get an epilogue, which makes me so happy and an hea. These two were just everything.
Once again we rejoin Faith and Dillion are their journey to finding their happily ever after, and just as the first installment this one comes with lots of drama, toe curling romance, and heartfelt emotion that gets the feels swirling around. At the end of the first installment Faith had just discovered some unexpected news that she worried would alter her relationship with Dylan and his parents, but she knew before things went any further she had to tell them. But telling them could push them away, and they are the only family she has ever really had, and losing that would seriously break her heart. But just as her news breaks more unexpected developments come to light and they have the potential to divide this family and couple once again… question is will they let it, or use it to bring them all closer together?
Serenity is the powerful and touching conclusion to the Fortuity duet, and just as the first installment it is sure to have your heart feeling like it’s in a vise, and the tears welling more than a few times! I thoroughly enjoyed this duet; it packed a powerful punch, and brought light to a subject I haven’t seen covered too often in romance stories, it was enlightening and very uplifting! I appreciated the time and care the author put into these characters, and their beautiful story, the writing was amazing, and you couldn’t help but get attached to the characters. This is a can’t miss read that is sure to win romance readers over, it’s one of those reads that hits ya deep in the heart, and it sure to linger long after the last page is turned!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title.
