How unlucky do you have to be to get abducted by aliens. . . twice?Snatched from Earth to be a bride for a bad-ass race of warriors, Bridget has barely gotten used to her new life on the high-tech Drexian space station when she’s abducted again. This time the aliens are vicious and bloodthirsty, and they have very different plans for the pretty human. Bridget has no doubt the Drexians will send a … doubt the Drexians will send a rescue party, but she’s never been one to play the damsel in distress. And no way is she sticking around to be a part of some creepy alien experiments.
Kax has a mission. Get the tribute bride back safely.
The highly-trained Drexian warrior knows that if anyone can do it, he can. But sneaking into enemy territory and getting Bridget out won’t be the hardest part of his mission. Denying his attraction to her will be the real test.
The Drexian has a secret no one can know. A secret that means he can never take a bride. Can he ignore his heart and give her up to another Drexian?
This standalone action romance novel features steamy scenes on a deserted alien colony, chase scenes on spaceships, deadly aliens hell-bent on invading Earth, and smoking-hot Drexian warriors with extra erogenous zones who are equally determined to protect Earth.

I liked this book. There is quite a lot of action and adventure as the storyline unfolds. I found the characters interesting. Bridget had spunk and Kax was so very honorable. They each tugged at my heartstrings. All and all I thought this book was very enjoyable and a solid addition to this fun series.
I loved Bridget and Kax’s romance, it was never going to be easy with their pasts, but throw in another abduction from a horrifying stalker, a pushy replacement groom and the wedding planner with no boundaries the results are entertaining! As if thats not enough for Kax, he discovers the Kraxian’s have gotten sneaky and theres something big coming. I just couldn’t put this down, I was hooked from the start and left wanting more!
This was my first Tana Stone’s book, and won’t be my last. This is the second book of the Tribute Brides of the Drexian Warriors Series, an interconnected standalone Sci-Fi action romance, with crossover characters. Bridget and Kax’s story is fast-paced, fun, suspenseful, and steamy. The world building is well done and intriguing. I love the ending. The Epilogue gives us a glimpse of what’s to come. Jodie Bentley has a beautiful voice, easy to understand. She also has a great range of voices, and the characters were easy to distinguish. She did a great job with the narration. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listen to the first installment in the Series, Tamed (Mandy and Dorn’s story), and the next installment Exposed (Katie and Zayn’s story). I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
Seized (Tribute Bride of the Drexian Warriors # 2) by Tana Stone is the second book in this series I give it all 5 stars and can’t wait to read the next book. This is Bridget and Kax’s story of kidnap, escape and convincing Kax that he can have a bride.
Where can you get kidnapped twice, become a tribute bride for a space alien, escape from the bad guys using your wily skills honed as a ballet dancer, reject the second guy who chose you but not the other way around and still get the guy for a happily ever after on a holodeck Swiss Chalet? You get all of that and more in Seized.
Bridget is one of the Tribute Brides of the Drexian Warriors she’s a former ballet dancer and one of 7 women taken as brides for the Drexian men, Yes, Earth said it was okay after all they are protecting us from the bad guys. When she meets Kax she’s guarding the door of her BFF while they finishing the wedding/mating ritual but she doesn’t know he can’t get married or take a bride. But he’ll do anything to find and get her back because the Kornock want her because they plan on attacking Earth.
Yes the book did have two previews at the end for the next book and the authors new series but for our current situation of COVID-19 it was a great escape story to forget everything for a few hours.
Ohhhhhhh I so enjoyed this story. In fact I spent a lot of time shouting at the characters in my head when I thought they should be doing something other than they were. I loved watching them as they got themselves into and out of trouble. I loved watching Bridget and Kax together. It’s also been great to see the tributes bonding together as a team. I love how Serge and Reina have come more to the forefront, the book just wouldn’t have been the same without them! I’m so glad where this ended, they deserved that ending. I can’t wait for the next book!
Don’t mess with a dancer – fast feet and wicked kicks!
Seized is a good follow-up to Tana Stone’s first Drexian Warriors novel. Bridget the former ballerina gets roped into the Tribute Bride program when her dance career stalls. Before she can meet the Drexian destined for her, she’s kidnapped off their space station by?? Kax, oldest brother and hereditary ruling council member of his Drexian family is another career casualty – the former spy suffers probable sterility from radiation exposure on his last mission. Bye, bye, council seat, family leadership, and all hope of a bride for Kax. He’s back to spy craft, but his attempted intervention in Bridget’s kidnapping takes priority. As good a spook as he is, finding her is no problem; she’s just sick of being hauled off somewhere in space by yet ANOTHER big alien alpha male. And she’s got the brutal high kick of a trained ballerina to back up her resistance. Kax and Bridget get caught, free themselves, get stranded, get caught, free themselves (round and round we go), and fall in love in the process. Kax is a little to angsty and martyred for my taste, but Bridget delivers the tough reality behind the pretty ballerina facade; dance has made her an elite athlete and a fierce competitor who powers through pain. In an enviro-suit or a tutu, she’s a superwoman. A nail-biter HEA and a stunning development in the Drexian/Earth war against the Kronock are two of the highlights in this action/alien romance. Can’t wait for more!
Nice world building with enjoyable characters. This is a good story and a nice easy read. The author has written this story so it flows well and is a great second book in this series.

I have not read a bad book from this author yet and this book is no exception! The great plot and character development kept me so engaged throughout the entire book that I had a very hard time putting this book down until the very last page was turned!
Live can make two people who think they are at the end of their dreams make new exciting and better choices for their future when they choose to believe.

I am hooked on this series! I love the fast paced, action packed stories featuring sexy aliens and loner Earthlings.
This book was steamy hot, funny, snarky and made me want to volunteer for the Tribute Bride program. The characters are well developed and in General Krav’s case pretty scary.
Bridget is kidnapped – again. This time by the Kronok General Krav who wants to harvest her DNA and make a new hybrid species. Kax resigns from the High Command and his first mission is to retrieve her. He finds her but gets shot in the process. She drags him into the medical lab and a computer doctor heals him. Bridget and Kax hook up and barely escape as Krav hunts them down. They fall for each other but have obstacles and misunderstandings to get through before they have their HEA . Cannot wait to read the next story!

Well worth reading!
This story is simply said a good SciFi with a lot of romance, love and twists and turns. Some of the aspects reminded me a bit about the stories written by another author, Grace Goodwin, but of course that can be said about so many stories, that they seem similar in one way or another!!! This story, however, is quite good, it has a good storyline and good characters. Now I can´t really wait for the next story in this series to find out what happens next in this “war” … I can only look forward to the third story in this series and hope there will be more. For all of the enjoyment while reading I am giving this one beautiful four stars.

Kidnapped by the enemy, saved by her lover!

Book two in the series begins when Bridget is kidnapped by Kronock soldiers and needs to be rescued before they extract her DNA. Kax, Dorns older brother and former spy tracks her to a former mining colony outpost where he rescues her and escape together. The drama is not over for them as there ship is damaged and they are forced to land in Kronock territory. It is during their time together that the two of them become lovers. I enjoyed this story, the characters and escapades kept me interested until the last page. This series is proving to be an exciting one and I look forward to reading further books in the series.

I love this author, this series and this book! It’s another great writing by this author. Kax is a drexian warrior and Bridget is a strong alpha female taken form earth to be a tribute bride. But when she’s kidnapped again she’s not a damsel in distress she fights for her freedom while waiting to be rescued. The story has mystery, danger, drama, suspense with twists and turns with romance along the way. It’s the story of honor, love and faith in one another. When Kax asks Bridget what she wants, all she really wants is for him to tell her he loves her and to fight to be with her. I won’t give away the story but to tell you that if you want a steamy romance story with alien warriors, a spunky earth women, laughs and HEA Then you need to grab this book! I will be following this author and this series!

Bridget gets kidnapped from Earth by the Drexian Aliens. She is going to be a tribute bride. Unfortunately she gets taken again, this time by the Kronock’s. Bridget has never had much faith in other people coming to her rescue. She takes matters into her own hand’s and kicks one of the Kronock warriors that kidnapped her. I’ll let you read the story to see if Commander Kax of the Drexian’s saves her in time.
I received a free copy of this book for an Honest review.
Taken from Earth 7 days earlier as a tribute bride, Bridget was still waiting to meet the Drexian warrior that had been selected for her, but he was still out on a deep space mission and not due back for several more days. Actually the women were not kidnapped since Earth governments allowed the women to be taken in exchange for protection from an aggressive Kronock race which had tried to invade Earth decades earlier. Regardless, Bridget was adjusting well and ready to face anything, even looking forward to meeting her mate. For now, she was just waiting for her friend Mandy to finish up with her new mate, Dorn.
Leaning against the door, she took off her uncomfortable shoes and closed her eyes in relief. A deep voice got her full attention as Kax, Dorn’s older brother and a member of the High Command, strode toward her and kindly asked why she wasn’t at the wedding reception. They chatted a few minutes, and she sighed as she watched him walk away – until a heavy hand clamped on her shoulder from behind, she felt a sharp pain, and everything went black.
With everyone waiting for the bride and groom, Kax headed back to get them and noticed Bridget was no longer there. He saw the broken glass all over the floor and knew she would not have left it like that. He had the captain start looking for what might have happened and they got video footage of the kidnapping. Kax said that they were trying to provoke a military response, so he would go alone with a small shuttle and get Bridget back.
Bridget woke as a huge armored Kronock fighter entered the room and told her he was General Krav. They intended to breed with her to add human DNA to their species, making it easier to assimilate Earth. She kicked his chest as he approached, and he staggered back. She dodged his next attack, spun around and kicked his elbow, then sent him face-first into the wall. She tried to run through the open door, but a second Kronock was there and she was trapped between them in the small space. Once again, Krav stabbed her with the needle to knock her unconscious. Would Kax be able to follow them and rescue Bridget? And would they be able to escape back to the space station if he was successful?
This was a good and well-written book, setting a fun tone as we watched the antics of Bridget as she waited for her friend to finish their wedding celebration. Bridget was a strong woman who met challenges with courage and spirit. Kax was honorable and determined to save her. There is an adventure ahead that will keep the reader intrigued from start to finish. Grab your copy and enjoy this fast-paced, exciting book!
Kax and Bridget together at last.
It was a cute beginning and I loved the love boat reference. In the beginning, it would appear that Bridget was on guard I guess that is what a maid of honor is for? I think she was doing well with the whole abduction and being mated to an alien warrior but like any good story, things are going to change again and get very interesting. It was a piece that was a bit campy and tongue in cheek and I loved it. If you like alien/romance/suspense than this is one to check out. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Harper and Malav
Two strong will people that butt heads more often than not. Harper on Earth was a CEO that clawed her way to the top owning her own company. She does not trust anyone not to betray her. She only deals with men she can dominate. So meeting Malav on the alien slave ship makes her question whether they are heroes or criminals.
Malav is the second in command to the Commander of Alpha Force and he is use to being obeyed when he issue and order. Harper will be a new experience for him.
Loving this series.
