Really enjoyed this book. Nice to see happiness happen after tragedy.
A love story with lots of road blocks, but all is well. I learned some things about the complexities and costs of running a cattle ranch.
I LOVED everthing about this book including grandma’s wisdom and confrontation on the truth to her grandson who felt like he needed to help his grieving father-in-law because of his guilt in losing his wife and daughter. The end revealed how God and his grandmother helped him make up his mind on the difficult relationship with the unrelenting grief of his father in law which would remind him constantly of his own regrets and grief. Glad it ended well for them all.
I got so engrossed in this book that I just made the time to finish reading it! A rare occurrence for me but it really is a page turner as you become part of their story.
I did not like the father in law in this book. He was a real downer. All in all it was a good book. Predictable but good.
Easy to read, interesting, heart aching and a very good plot.
Great story about a young woman and her daughter returning to her old town and working a ranch. Their struggles with all of life’s many twists and turns. Thank you for your story.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It was so intriguing it was hard to put down. Thank you for a lovely diversion in the midst of a chaotic time in the world. I am already looking forward to the next book to find out what happens to Shannon!!

Seeking Home by Carolyne Aarsen
Family Bonds Series Book One
Tanner Bond is ready to start a new life. He’s selling the ranch and going into a business with his former father-in-law. He’ll finally be making a lot of money. And yet, as he visits Nana in the home she raised him and his twin brother in…doubts start to creep in. He’s selling his legacy. Land that has been in his family for a long time and with a lot of history.
Sabine Radowski had left Rockyview in shame. Her father had lost their legacy. A ranch and land that had been started by her great-grandfather. But her father hadn’t kept it up and all was lost. Eventually, even her father. But she’s come back to show all those who snickered behind her back and called her names. Sabine was back and had bought a ranch. She’d show them all. Not to mention, give her daughter, Olivia, the childhood Sabine had once enjoyed. Only for Olivia, it would be much better.
Great story-line and characters.

This story is a great way to begin a new series. It’s all about a re-do in life; re-knewed faith after grief; and, returning to homeward roots. As a child she had been ridiculed for being poor; embarrassed by a drunken father; and, now faced the death of her estranged husband. Sabine and her daughter, Olivia, are finding a new home and future on a ranch back were her heartaches all began. I loved this story-line as it touched so many places in my heart, brought tears to my eyes and made me smile at new beginnings. I also enjoyed the touching flowers in the end which brought peace to three souls.
I really enjoy books by Carolyne Aarsen. Having to sell his family’s ranch would be devastating, although it brought Tanner and Sabine together. Both main characters had difficult lives. I think this book was well written, I could relate to the characters and…
