This is Angelo Dobbs’ worst nightmare. A good man lies dead, and with the Borderline Freaks MC’s president and founding member gone, the leadership position within the club falls to him. It’s not that he can’t manage the easy task of leading a group of good men; he would just have preferred to stay a little farther out of the spotlight. But when his brothers issue the call, he answers.Carly … answers.
Carly Gibson, daughter of his dead friend, is an unexpected—but not unwelcome—complication for his new role. She’s the most intriguing woman he’s ever met, capable and filled with a strength of character. He finds himself instinctively drawn to her. Could he have found the woman meant to complete him, finally?
Over the past couple of years, Dobbs—Neptune to the men of the BFMC—has watched as his closest friends found their soulmates. Now, their women are an integral part of the club. When they and Carly are threatened, Neptune will do anything to ensure their safety—and, just maybe, his future.
Fourth and final book in the Borderline Freaks MC series. Don’t miss the previous books:

“You might not need saving, but honey, I do.”
Confession, I had to look up Valhalla, I’d not heard of it before reading this book. Another confession, I cried while reading this amazing story. A final confession, I’m sad this is the last book, it’s been a beautiful and emotional ride with the Borderline Freaks MC and I’m gonna miss them.
After the previous book ended in such a jaw-dropping way, I’ve been very anxious to get answers to some questions left unanswered. I must say, this installment has more…everything. I found myself more emotional, tissues required. I also found myself closer to the edge of my seat as the suspense was ramped up to turbo. I could totally get on board with the author digging deeper into the darker suspense she gave me a taste of in this story. It was badass and addictive.
I don’t know what direction the author will take her readers next, but I can’t wait to find out. Dark, light, funny, serious, sweet or dirty, I’m game. The line forms here…
Neptune and Carly are the perfect couple to end the series with. Even though I hope we somehow get more from these characters. This book is so heart wrenching and beautiful you will be so happy to have taken the time to read. All your questions are answered and this series ends in a way that left me happy and settled for these beloved characters. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye though, I will reread occasionally just so I can visit with characters I’ve come to love.
This is the last book in MariaLisa deMora’s Borderline Freak series. See You in Valhalla is book four and “last” in this series The BFMC have lost their club president. Neptune is voted in as the new president. Carly returns to find her father is dead. Neptune has watched his brothers find their happy and it’s now his turn. As the Borderline Freaks hunt down the killers, they discover these women they have found as soul mates are pretty bada$$. Carly’s introduction in the book had me in tears. She is another super strong woman that MariaLisa has introduced to the world. I cried, laughed and even cheered out loud. These men have been a great addition to the boss ladies world. I will miss visiting and catching up with them – here’s to hoping they get really loud and bug the boss lady soon.
I really love Neptune and Carly’s story. They work really well together just like the other couples in previous books. I love how he helps her find the past of her fathers that she missed and welcomes her into her father’s other home. Seeing how they developed was awesome and it was also nice seeing how tough she is. Seeing the other couples from the other books was a favorite also!
4.5 stars
A brilliant conclusion to this series. Neptune and Carly has a swift and passionate romance. For a quick read, their story managed to simultaneously be fast-paced but feel like a slow burn. I don’t know how MariaLisa deMora managed that, but it’s exactly how it felt.
Carly had a connection to the club no one was aware of, but being who she was made her family. Neptune’s claim made her more than that. She was a strong female character that didn’t need to be saved. She saved herself. She even proved it to Neptune a time or two.
Their story was an incredible RUSH that left me feeling deeply satisfied.
Neptune takes charge of the Borderline Freaks MC in the wake of disaster and begins a search for Gibby’s daughter, Carly. Instead Carly finds him along with her partner, Ryman. Then the dance of need, feeling of safety, solving a mystery, and finding that forever soul mate wraps up this beautiful series while addressing all the hard issues of returning soldiers. Carly is a strong character who has been through a lot but the support of Neptune allows her to see herself as undamaged through his eyes. Neptune is military tough but has a sweet gentle undertone with Carly in all the swoon worthy ways. And it’s a hot read because duh, it’s a deMora book.
During the book it’s exciting to see and catch up on the other couples from previous books in the series and realize Neptune can pick up the phone and call an old favorite, Retro. Does this mean we will see more of the BFMC with other clubs? This reader can only hope. And Carly’s partner, Ryman still has a lot to say.
Having read the ones proceeding this one I knew I was in for a treat. Once I entered though I did not realize it would be so dangerous because this one sucked you in and took control right away. Angelo has his hands full with intrigue also at its helm. Carly is one we follow closely also because of her part in all this. As this story unfolds so does chemistry begin to simmer. These two can carry this story controlling it by not letting us get away anytime soon. It also has such suspense that you sway at times from the anticipation. You do receive satisfaction that gives you what you crave when searching for a deep one.
Another heartstring emotional read! From the beginning this story tugs at your heart with the death of Borderline Freaks MC’s president to Dobbs (Neptune) still reeling from it. He has to step up and take the position despite not wanting to fill the shoes. Carly has been to hell and back in the undercover job she’s been on, comes home to visit her father but finds out he’s gone. Dobbs and Carly are perfect for each other and are what each one needs they just don’t know it. Neither were looking for love but sometimes it hits you like a brick. Grief, tragedy, bonding, love, healing, justice this book has it all.
See You In Valhalla is an emotional and poignant addition to the Borderline Freaks MC series. As necessary changes are instilled in the club, it is now time for the members to grieve, reflect and also for new additions. As Carly must face the biggest loss of her life, Neptune will be the man to stand at her side and show her that the road ahead might be bumpy but he will be there to give her whatever she needs and wants. Their story is not only about justice but about finding your home and that place that makes you feel safe, secure and loved no matter what. A story that no only contains sadness but gives you peace in your heart and soul.
I enjoyed reading this book.
The story was well written and held my attention.
The couple had lots of chemistry.
I would recommend this book to others.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book
from an advanced reader copy.
See you in Valhalla is book 4 in the Borderline Freaks MC series. The club has been left with a huge hole after a tragedy left without a leader Neptune isn’t really given the option if he wants to be president or not but he decides that they need retribution for Gibby. Carly has been undercover for a long time and finding out her father had been murdered she goes home. After meeting Neptune she know that things are never going to be the same and just maybe they can get through it together.
Neptune/Angel and Carly
He lost a friend. He lost a president. Under the pain Angel/Neptune and his brothers are suffering they call on him to take over. Not what he planned for his future. For Gibby and his brothers, he’d do it. Meeting Carly was unexpected and could mean just maybe he too could have a partner in his future.
Getting to that future wasn’t going to be easy. Carly had a huge secret. Would he accept her when he learned?
Another amazing story from the author. I loved the characters. It is filled with emotions, steam, and a group of people readers have come to care deeply about it. The only two things I have a problem with are that the story ended and worse the series ended. I could go on reading this series forever.

Angel and Carly grabbed my heart
Intense emotional broken heart stopping love story
Book 4 in the Borderline Freaks MC Series is, I’m told the last…..NAW….just not buying that line of bull!
While ‘See You In Valhalla’ does everything needed (and more!) to wrap up the events that flowed through the first 3 books, it also shows that there are still more stories here to be told!
This is Neptune and Carly’s time to lead. Neptune has taken on the mantle of leadership left to him, while dealing with the pain of that need. Then in walks Carly.
Carly is what every badass, take charge, hellbent on vengeance and determination to right every wrong, heroine wishes they could be!
Neptune is alpha to the core! Don’t get me wrong! Neptune, Monk, Blade, and Wolf….never leave us wondering if they are ready to load up, ride in and save the day! But Carly…(and the rest of the BFMC Ole Ladies BTW!)….Ryman said it best when he told Neptune ‘Get used it.’
Who’s Ryman? More tales that need telling!
(Hoping with some of our Down South Boys!)
MariaLisa deMora, did it again.
This series shows the grief in loss, the pain of self-doubt, the anger with betrayal, and most importantly the love and healing that comes from loyalty, friendship, commitment, and determination to right wrongs done to the ones you love.
‘Service and Sacrifice’
‘More Than Enough’
‘Lack of In-Between’
‘See You In Valhalla’

(That’s a thing right?)
Oh Wow… I think there isn’t a book in this series that I didn’t cry at least once… When the previous book ended, I was like no freaking way… How?? Why??
So from the previous book when we had this shocking death happened, it was an emotional time for the club. Their Prez was gone and they needed a new one. Neptune didn’t want the job, but he would do what the club wanted him to do, its the least he could do for his best friend. A cruel emotional heartbreaking event turns into something that he never expected. From this friends death he meets Gibby’s daughter. A girl that his best friend kept a secret in order to keep her safe and away from the dangers of the club. He is determined to look out for her and help her cope with her father’s death in whichever way she needs.
Carly is a strong and capable of taking care of herself and I thought she was perfect for him. They absolutely fit together. Just like everyone else in the club she wants justice and she is hell bent on getting it for him.
And the enemy does not disappoint…
This book was emotional, full of action, full of heartbreak, full of so much happening all the time. The men trying to keep their women safe. The new club prez trying to get justice for his old president and keeping his club safe. Oh man this series is one of those that I am adding to my favourite MC reads for the year. Totally worth reading and totally worth getting yourself immersed in this club and their drama. Well done to this author for getting all the emotions across and for an amazing series.
This book is a heart wrenching, beautifully crafted story that you will be happy to have taken the time to read. If you read Lack of In-between, you know how that ended. This book begins after that tragic event. There were questions and a lot of things needing to be resolved. All questions are answered and this series ends in a way that left me happy and settled for these beloved characters.
If you are looking for a MC novel that simply checks off the boxes of what is expected, this is not the book, series or author for you. MariaLisa deMora goes above and beyond what is expected in each book she writes and this book is no exception. If you are looking for an author that blows your mind, she is definitely the author for you.
I actually procrastinated reading this for a few days because, since this is the final book in this series, I wasn’t ready to say goodbye. Now that I’ve finished, I think this series is one that I will reread occasionally just so I can visit with characters I’ve come to love.
I was soo looking forward to this book – especially after reading the teaser in Lack of In-Between. It did not disappoint in the “loved it” category, and my only issue is the fact that it was too short for me. I wanted MORE of Neptune and Carly. As always, I love MLDM’s nuanced writing, developing great storylines and real characters. The entire BFMC series has been build on strong female characters that to me is one of the absolute best thing about all of these stories. Neptune was born to be President of BFMC. Carly paved her own path with a gratifying career helping those who can’t help themselves. What a great way to end this series! Loved it!
This was an amazing, bittersweet story.
Book 3 left off with a tragic ending so of course this book picks up right where that one left off. Neptune isn’t a character who I really took notice of in the other books, so it was nice to get to know him better. Carly was a nice surprise. She was a fighter from the beginning. A strong woman perfect for the role she plays in this book.
This story is bittersweet in a couple of ways. I hate to see this series come to an end as well as the story itself. I look forward to finding out what Ms DeMora has in store for us next!
This one completely wrecked me and yet by the end I was absolutely smiling. I truly hope that this isn’t the end for the Borderline Freaks, would love to see a story for Ryman down the road! When an author can draw you into the story so deeply that you feel every single emotion that her characters feel, you can’t help but be drawn into that world and not want it to ever end. This final book in the series will be forever embedded in my heart, it was truly emotional for me reading it. Neptune and Carly are so so good together. And my favorite phrase is “perfect imperfection”. Another amazing read by an even more amazing author! 10’s from me!
Once again ML deMora delivers another heartfelt story. Neptune and Carly’s story has all the feels! Can’t help but fall in love with Neptune but Carly is one incredible woman! She really won my heart! The only thing that made me sad was knowing it’s the end of this series. I’m hoping they might show up in another series or even expand this series!
